BEAUTIFUL BRIDE #1698 in gorgeous condition. Very hard to find, this outfit is a must have for any collector. No doll, she is just modeling the outfit. Check out all of the pictures. I added a pair of short white gloves for your Barbie to wear so you can easily slide her hands through the long sleeves without tearing or pulling the tulle.

The white satin wedding dress is not mint but it is very nice and I will describe what I see as faults. The side seam is fraying slightly, and the back tulle sleeves have a small tear on each side. girl who loves Barbies - this will be her favorite.

This one is super beautiful and in near mint/ excellent+ condition There are no holes in any piece. The only flaws I see are the garter's elastic is stretched and there is a hint of finger soil on the edge of the veil bow. Beautiful Bride is an exceptionally pretty outfit. This outfit for sale has everything included with the correct accessories for the time period. There are no stains or yellowing in the fabric, the gloves are very white, the garter is clean and blue (no flower, though), and the bouquet is wonderful. I don't see any pin holes or problems in the dress or underskirt. However, there are some serious condition problems with the veil. This outfit displays very well, but there is a large tear that was repaired by someone else, as well as a hole below it. Those are in the back of the veil, so they are not obvious when on a doll. There are some small holes to the front of the veil as well, but they are not so obvious. Also, there is another condition issue. One of the closed toe shoes appears to be a bit warped in the heel area, so it doesn't fit on the foot very well. Please look at my photos to see the condition of the outfit and accessories. I've included photos from the book, "Barbie Fashion" by Sarah Sink Eames. In it, she shows the complete outfit and gives a full description of Beautiful Bride. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

This is a very hard to find vintage Barbie doll #1698 Beautiful Bride outfit. These pieces are very clean and show minor wear. The dress has no tears in the netting sleeves and has a working zipper in the back. The underslip is good with no tears in the netting. The elastic on the head piece feels okay. Both heels are nice and marked Japan on the bottoms. There is no garter here, and the heels are not spikes. I keep a non pet, no smoking home, and am a speedy shipper!
