eBay Offered for your consideration is a super fun lot of all vintage Barbie & Friends accessories. Included are shoes, hats, books, slippers, gloves, plates, teacups, purses, hangers, earrings, and more. There is too much to list. Nearly all of these pieces are Mattel. All of these fun accessories are in good played with condition. Some are excellent or better. Some are hard to find, including an original Skipper butterfly/net from Skipper's 1966 fashion Country Picnic. Please see all of the photos so you can see all that you will be getting. I will note anything I think is necessary. The first two photos show all of the items that you will get. I could not fit all of the pieces in one photo. The shoes are all matching pairs if there are two. There are a few little melts on the record players records One of the long white tricot gloves has a few pulls. The flower bouquets could use a fluff. Barbies wicker flower purse shows play wear. The little sail boat has a slightly bent sail. The pretzels and cookie boxes are a bit flattened. Skipper's ice cream sundae has a piece missing from the base. It still stands up just fine. Please disregard the little leaves that blew in from outside when I was taking photos. LOL. American Girl Era Bubble Cut OLD STORE STOCK! NIB Friend of Ponytail Barbie
This vintage very rare Bubble Cut Barbie, boxed, with all associated items, is new-in-box (NIB) that was made when Mattel started producing the American Girl Barbie doll. She is indeed NEW, but, I decided to listed her as "used," which I will mention later in this description why I am listing her as such. Found in stockroom of a store that closed in the 1960s, never put out front of store so she was never sold to the public. She is considered a "transitional" American Girl Era Bubble Cut Barbie due to her having the American Girl face and not the face on normal Bubble Cuts. She has American Girl markings on her neck rim that state: ©1958 Mattel, Inc., and she comes with a gold wire stand. Those are three attributes you see on the American Girl Barbie dolls and not on Bubble Cuts. For these reasons, this doll is an American Girl era "transitoinal" Bubble Cut Barbie doll. Earlier this year I ran across a listing exactly like my doll. That eBay seller listed this exact same doll asking $775 BIN and she sold it. What I found interesting is that other seller stated her doll was a transitional Bubble Cut made in the American Girl era as having markings on her neck that showed: ©1958 Mattel, Inc., had American Girl face, and came with a gold wire stand. This doll is same as the other seller's doll. However, I needed to view her neck rim to make sure when I list her, I am right on description for this doll. The only way for me to find was to remove her from her box, carefully remove her head from her body, and view her neck rim. This would be the first time I have ever removed her from her box! I carefully removed her from her box as to avoid putting another crease or tearing box insert and then very carefully, I removed her head. I am very happy to report, the markings of ©1958 Mattel, Inc., is indeed on the rim of her neck. However, this was when I saw a yellow substance on the inside her neck rim. This was a surprise to me. I do not know what the yellow substance is, but you need to see this substance. Of course once her head is placed back onto her body, yellow substance is hidden. My photo showing neck rim was added to this listing and is blurry, hard to even see the markings on this neck rim, but markings are there. I very carefully placed her head back onto her body and did not ruin integrity of head hole opening. There are no split(s) made in doing this investigation to this doll's neck hole opening. I have always stored her in a clear plastic zippered case not only for protection against home environment. Her box fits inside this protective case perfectly. You will receive the clear protective case too. This rare American Girl Era "transitional" Bubble Cut Barbie doll still has her wrist tag and box insert does have one staple on each side from factory. Her booklet and red Japan open toe shoes are still sealed in original cello. Now for the reason I am listing her as "used." Even though she is a NEW old store stock doll, I decided to list her as "USED" for these reasons: both her ears have greening due to wearing post earrings, her post earrings are missing, she has been removed from box, there is a super tiny tear to box insert where her feet go into the holes, there is some paint missing on her lips, there is crease in box insert located each side of her shoulders, torn off graphic on end flap that I feel was the price tag and someone removed it, and now, I just discovered that yellow substance inside her neck rim. Please know I am not the original owner of this doll. I am the second owner. I received her with her earrings removed so this doll was taken out of her box before she came to me. I WISH TO THANK MY DEAR BARBIE BUDDY, ETHEL that lives in northeast U.S. for giving me this doll in support for my quest to raise funds to help my son that has cancer. Thank you Ethel! Possibly all these Barbies are # 5 Barbies, but I'm not positive. These dolls are in in pretty nice condition, but they do need cleaning & their hair needs styling & maybe a shampoo, For some reason, some of the dolls have sort of a greasy, sticky feel to them. I did wipe them off a little, but I will leave the deep cleaning to the lucky winner ---YOU!! I didn't remove the clothes on most of them, since I didn't want to get that "greasy" feeling on the clothes. The clothes appear to be in nice condition also, but they will also need cleaning & some might need a little repair tlc, since apparently these dressed dolls have been stored away for many years! These dolls & clothes do look nicer & cleaner in the pictures then the really are, so keep that in mind before you bid.. I'll try to describe these dolls & outfits the best that I can. (!). Doll with titan red hair wearing the outfit " COMMUTOR SET" # 916, including the RARE & VHTF RED T.M. HAT BOX. The hatbox is missing one side of the box & it needs some TLC. The Barbie doll does need cleaning & has an overall greasy feeling & she has pearl ? earring & she has some greening by her ears from the earring. I think her outfit is only missing 3 items, (1) the red hat (2) the blue & white body suit & (3) her shoes / heels. Her facial coloring is nice. I couldn't take her white top/ blouse off her, so I couldn't see most of the marking on her rear /butt. but I can read, what looks like anyway, "Barbie" & "Mattel" She is marked "JAPAN' on the bottom of her foot & there is some red color on her feet, I think from where some red dye coloring from some clothes rubbed on to her feet. (2). The Ponytail ? Barbie doll, maybe a # 4 or 5 doll??, wearing the outfit "ORANGE BLOSSOM" # 987. Doll & outfit need some cleaning. Her facial coloring is very nice & her hair looks pretty good. She still has most of her fingernail polish & still has some toenail polish. She has pearl ? earring, & there is some greening by her ears. It looks like she is marked "Barbie / PATS PEND / MCMLVIII / BY / MATTEL / INC". She is marked "JAPAN" on the bottom of her foot & also has a rare ? UNIQUE ? UNUSUAL ? # 34 on the bottom of her foot (3). The ponytail ? Barbie,maybe a # 4 or 5 doll, wearing the red outfit. I believe her 2 piece red outfit is from the 1962 FASHION PAKS, she's wearing a red gathered skirt & a red body blouse. Her marking is sort of blurred & hard for me to read, but I can read, what looks like "Barbie " & "Mattel". Her facial coloring is nice, but there is wear on her red lips. She has pearl ? earrings & a matching necklace, but the "pearls" look yellowed / has darkened over the years. There is greening by her ears. It looks like most of her toenail polish is still there & there is some wear on her fingernail polish. (4). & (5). There are 2 Ken dolls, both have the flocked hair & it looks like they both have the same T.M. markings " Ken TM / PATD PEND / MCMLX / BY / MATTEL / INC". Both dolls are in nice condition, but they do need cleaning & have sort of the greasy feel to them. One doll is wearing the outfit "DREAM BOAT" # 785 & the other doll is wearing "SPORT SHORTS" # 783. Their clothes are in good condition, but they do need cleaning / washing.. 1964 Irwin Speedboat for Ponytail Barbie, Ken, and Same Size Dolls w All Parts
"1964 Mattel, Inc. - Irwin" is imprinted on bottom of this speedboat. I did some reseach and found that Irwin Toys of Canada produced this speedboat for Mattel, Inc., hence Mattel and Irwin names are imprinted on boat's underside (little bit of boats' history for you). This speedboat is very nice quaility for being 60 years old. The best attributes of this speedboat is its pristine condition, color, and other than missing the flag pole, all associated boat gear is present with not one broken. I never knew this boat came with a flag pole until my research. I bet you did not know this boat originally had a flag pole either? The windshield is not broken, no cracks, and still offers the three original metal screws. The metal screws barely have any tarnishing. This boat is large and measures: 20" in length x 8" wide x 6-1/2" tall. If you feel like playing Barbie at the lake one night, feel free to roll speedboat across the floor, hee hee. Boat's wheels spin freely with ease (better invite me over if you do play Barbie!). My precious boat that I have admired for years owning so it goes without saying I will not allow this to be shipped without my own special care in packaging material and boxing. Boat will be placed inside a much larger box than the boats' size due to inner shipping materials. Boat needs much cushioning shipping materials while inside the huge box to prevent enroute damage by shipping service. I wish for my precious boat to be delivered to you in perfect condition as when I removed it from the top shelf in my vintage Barbie collection. Seems to me that it’s glued on both ends. These Barbie’s set were bought from a collector who stored them in a basement for many years. The basement had some humidity, and as such, some boxes show some humidity damage and smell. I do not see any damage. The Barbie’s boat and accessories have not been removed from their boxes, so I can’t inspect them further. Some of the boxes present considerable humidity damage, dust and humidity stains. This set is new since they have never been removed from their box and its sealed. The batteries box never been used, I can't cheek this condition, its SOLD AS IS. COMPLETE and in excellent condition (no box)There is a lot of information, so please read the entire listing.I have checked all of the pieces and there are no cracks, missing pieces or breaks. However, I am not responsible for any perceived imperfections such as aging or fading on a playset which is almost 40 years old. This set is as I received it. Please look at the pictures. The first picture is sort of a stock photo I created with the pieces I had. The rest of the pictures are of the actual pieces you will receiveHERE ARE THE 66 PIECES: plus a copy of the assembly instructions (apparently, the manufacturer couldn't count. Some pieces count as one and others as two. Go figure. Anyway, it's all there ?).Table set ( 10 pc) (Disassembled) Table, 4 chairs, lamp, salt and pepper, gravy boat, butter dish with butter. The table support is undamaged and all the prongs are intact (that's a very rare thing).Entrees (6 pc) 2 plates with lobster and steak (like Barbie can eat that much. Right?)Place settings (12 pc) Extremely hard to find. 2 sets with 3-pc. silverware, 2 sets of 3 glasses (no yellowing- very clean and bright). Cart set (10pc) Cart (assembled and extremely fragile - boxed separately), wine bucket with 3 bottles, covered serving dish (considered 2 pc), sugar bowl, water pitcher, coffee pot.Hostess set (7pc) (Disassembled) Podium, light, phone, reservation book, 2 menus, dance sign.Salad Bar (19 pc) (will actually come disassembled, not as shown in the picture) Salad Bar with ice, 6 bowls, 6 salads, bread basket, baguette, 3 dinner rollsDance Floor (1 pc) There are a few spots where the color has been rubbed off. All in all, it's in pretty decent condition.Back Drop (1 pc) Excellent condition. It will need to be gently bent to a flat condition when received as it needed to be curved to fit into the box. It was NOT creased.Some pieces are dismantled as you can see in the pictures, but everything is securely packaged. The voids in the box are filled with packing peanuts. We hate packing peanuts, but they serve a purpose.I am including a copy of the original assembly instructions. keep in mind that some of the parts have a front and back side so you can have the nice parts facing out.If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.I reuse packing material whenever possible except if it smells bad.
