Vtg #3 Blonde Ponytail Barbie DOLL & YEAR ONE Clothes LOT 1959 850 Clone w/ Case
eBay In this listing, you are considering for your collection the items that you see in the above photograph These are vintage items so please judge them accordingly Please inspect the photos carefully as I do consider them the main component of this listing.Here we have an instant Year One vintage Barbie collection up for purchase. With the exception of the case and the clothes rack, this is a one owner collection, meaning these were purchased by the original owner as a child and kept in their possession this entire time. I know that some collectors will want to know that the original owner is still with us, happy and healthy - and this comes from them and not an estate sale. This is a large collection and I have A LOT of pictures to share. Not all of those pictures will fit on this listing. THIS LISTING contains the "main" pictures. I have made a second listing for the "description" pictures (those that would show damage or whatnot) and that link is here:THIS LISTING IS NOT FOR SALE - PICTURES ONLY | eBayOk, on to the written description (here you will find information specifically about the doll and individual fashions) - DOLL - She is not without her flaws but even still, she's quite lovely. Her hair is uncut with nice plugs and soft texture. I did give the doll a superficial cleaning (soap and water) and washed her hair. I left a curler in her hair as it dried so the curl will not last (I didn't want to risk using heat). Her hair color has a bit of lemony yellow to it that I assume comes from age. Her bangs look great and are soft and springy. She does have pierced ears but no green spots. She does come with her original hoop earrings and striped swimsuit. Her torso is already pale but her face and limbs still have some of the flesh coloring. She has some paint rubs on her eyeline. No broken hands or feet - no chew damage. All of her nails still retain their original red polish. She has an indentation line on her right hip and a fairly flagrant mark on her lower back. All of her joints are nice and tight - no loosey arms or legs. There is a discoloration around her neck - no neck splits. As she is a #3, no holes in the feet although most her fashions come with the shoes with the holes on the bottom. EASTER PARADE #971 - Dress is nice, no issues. Coat shows some faint wrinkling to crepe like fabric but nothing flagrant or damging. Hat is showing some mild fraying on the ribbon tips/ Purse is discolored. Shoes are original and have the hole in the bottom - no cracks or splits. Peachy Fleecy #915- Coat has some discolored spots on the back, otherwise fine. Gloves are also a little discolored and stiff. The hat is a little smooshed but the feather is fine - the pearl has lost its veneer. Shoes are original, no cracks or splits. They also have a hole in the bottom. SWEET DREAMS #973 - Overall nice shape - clock is a bit rusted and I'm not entirely sure the "headband" is anything but a chenille stick but also fine. SWEATER GIRL #976 - Skirt shows a little fading. Both the sweater and the shell blouse shoe some holes in the knit. Sweater is missing (1) button and all of the pearls are missing their veneers. SUBURBAN SHOPPER #969 - Hat shows some discoloration. The ribbon is a little faded. Purse has a loose apple with some paint fade, otherwise fine. Dress is nice, no issue. BUSY GAL #981 - One of the side strings on the portfolio is in a knot. The jacket and the blue body blouse need a steam. Both sketches show some yellowing. Hat has a bit of a curl to it. Overall nice shape. Undergarments #919 - Most all of the elastic bits are relaxed. Bra and full slip see a bit faded. Winter Holiday 975 - The coat and the gloves are stiff. There is a small blue mark on the collar. Vinyl on the shoes is also stiff. Everything else is fine. Evening Splendor #961 - Dress is nice, no issues. Coat has some fading to the inner lining. Both the necklae and the hat are missing pearls. Purse and gloves show some discoloration. Shoes are original, no cracks or splits but they do have the hole in the bottom.Cotton Casual #912 - Ribbons are a bit smooshed, otherwise fine. Comes with (1) original shoe (it also has a hole). Commuter Set #916 - The outfit itself is fine, no issues. It comes with only one glove. Shoes are fine but they are of a later model, no hole. Hat seems a little wild but no damage. Hat box shows a tear and some tape repair, otherwise fine. Bracelt is smooshed. Big selection of same era clone outfits - some carry international tags. Pictures of these clone outfits are on the other/picture listing (above link). They too carry some flaws but overall, most are in good shape. There are perhaps some slight mending to closures or such but nothing is junk. I saw a few spots but nothing is ripped. I threw in the case, rack and some shoes (mostly Taiwan era) to round out the lot. eBay Presenting the Mattel, vintage, very special, TNT, BUSY FRANCIE doll, #3313, with blonde hair tied with the green hair ribbon. She is wearing her original green ribbed top with belt loop on back, red/orange belt, blue denim jeans with white stitching and the lime green square toe shoes with Taiwan on the bottoms. Francie went to the spa and had her hair washed & reset and her arms professionally reattached. More info:1) No neck splits. No earring holes. No pokes around ears. No green.2) Face coloring and makeup is all original & consistent with no rubs, no touch-ups. 3) Hair fully intact - nothing cut, no missing hair plugs. 4) Both legs move freely, have three clicks and are firmly attached. No pin marks around the feet. 5) "Busy hands" open and close perfectly.6) Arms are firmly attached and move freely. They bend gently & correctly at the elbows.7) Busy Francie comes with all of her brown "busy" accessories - telephone, suitcase, tv, record player, record, tray & two tumbles. Most have decals & are in excellent condition with no melt marks, no wear.Issues: *Greenish spot on inside of left arm (photo #13.)* Itty bitty scratch on front of left shin (photo #14.)* Itty bitty tiny brownish spec from Mattel above left eye. Not really an issue since from factory.* One of her original lime green shoes has a split on the top. Up for auction is a VINTAGE TALKING BUSY STEFFIE BARBIE - MUTE #1186. Her knees click & hold 3x. I can't definitively say if her hair has been trimmed and she doesn't appear to be any missing hair plugs. She does have flyaways, loose strands of hair and some strands that have broken off. Her hair has been washed and styled. Her elbows bend but do not hold a pose. Her hands open and close and clasp objects. She has no chew marks, no nose nips, no green ear, no head splits. She may have scuffs, scrapes, scratches, nicks, staining &/or dents on her body as expected for a 50-year-old doll. She comes with her outfit as shown in pictures. PLEASE NOTE: I do not know her history as I am not the original owner. Her ears are not pierced. Vintage Busy Barbies were notorious for their arms and legs breaking off shortly after purchase. This doll's arms and legs were broken off when I purchased her. I have repaired her joints utilizing vinyl screws. Her arms and legs do remain fragile but can be bent and straightened. Use care when moving her arms and legs. She has several flat spots on her bosom which likely occurred from prolonged sitting. She also has a deformity on her left buttocks cheek. There is a gap between arm and torso but doesn't affect movement. Her jumpsuit, shoes, telephone, and TV are vintage. Her hat, belt, leggings were made by me and are new. Her outfit may have fraying, holes, runs, tears, fading, thinning, stains, torn seams, and torn hems. She was no doubt purchased as a toy and played with by children. She is not for the collector looking to purchase a doll in mint condition. Stand is not included. I have been repairing & restoring Barbies for over 25 years & spend many hours on each Barbie. I do my best to describe all flaws & repairs but may have missed something so please examine the pictures closely and ask questions as my vision is not as good as it used to be. Up for auction is a VINTAGE TALKING BUSY STEFFIE BARBIE - MUTE #1186 (c) 1967 Mattel, Inc. U.S. Pats. Pend. Hong Kong. Her knees click 3x, hold 2x. Her hair does not appear to have been cut nor does she appear to have any missing hair plugs. She does have flyaways, loose strands of hair and some strands that have broken off. Her eyelashes are original. Her hair has been washed and styled. Her right elbow bends and holds a pose where the left elbow does not. Her hands open and close and clasp objects. She has a green round stain on both arms. Her pull string does not pull out and she is mute. She has no chew marks, no nose nips, no green ear, no head splits. She may have scrapes, scratches, light staining &/or dents on her body as expected for a 50-year-old doll. She comes with her outfit as shown in pictures. PLEASE NOTE: I do not know her history as I am not the original owner. She has a pinhole on her left temple area which is covered by her hair. The last Barbie I sold had the same pinhole so it must have been to attach something to her head. Her ears are not pierced. Vintage talking Barbies were notorious for their arms and legs breaking off shortly after purchase. This Barbie's arms and legs were broken off when I purchased her. I have repaired her joints utilizing vinyl screws. Her arms and legs do remain fragile but can be bent and straightened. Use care when moving her arms and legs. She has some fading on her left lateral knee.n There is a gap between her left arm and torso and between her legs and torso. It does not affect the movement of her extremities and the extremities are stable. When applying the vinyl screws I likely destroyed the talking mechanism within the Barbie so if you purchase her with the intention of restoring her talking mechanism you probably can't. Additionally you would have to destroy the joints that I have replaced as you will not be able to separate the body otherwise. Her hat, belt, and leggings were made by me. Her jumpsuit, shoes, suitcase and record player are a vintage. Her jumpsuit is of unknown age and in fair to good condition. VINTAGE TALKING BUSY STEFFIE BARBIE - MUTE #1186
Up for auction is a VINTAGE TALKING BUSY STEFFIE BARBIE - MUTE #1186 (c) 1967 Mattel, Inc. U.S. Pats. Pend. Hong Kong. Her knees click 3x, Right knee holds 2x & Left knee holds 3x. Her hair it's quite unruly as was normal with this particular doll but does not appear to have been cut nor does she appear to have any missing hair plugs. She does have flyaways, loose strands of hair and some strands that have broken off. Her eyelashes are original. Her hair has been washed and styled (sort of). Her elbows bend and hold a slight pose. Her hands open and close and clasp objects. She has a green round stain on both arms. Her pull string does not pull out and she is mute. She has no chew marks, no nose nips, no green ear, no head splits. She may have scuffs, scrapes, scratches, nicks, staining &/or dents on her body as expected for a 50-year-old doll. She comes with her outfit as shown in pictures. PLEASE NOTE: I do not know her history as I am not the original owner. She has a pinhole on her left temple area which is covered by her hair. The last Barbie I sold had the same pinhole so it must have been to attach something to her head. Her ears are not pierced. Vintage talking Barbies were notorious for their arms and legs breaking off shortly after purchase. This Barbie's arms and legs were broken off when I purchased her. I have repaired her joints utilizing vinyl screws. Her arms and legs do remain fragile but can be bent and straightened. Use care when moving her arms and legs. She has a green stain on her anterior left shin. There is a gap between her legs and torso but doesn't affect movement. When applying the vinyl screws I likely destroyed the talking mechanism within the Barbie so if you purchase her with the intention of restoring her talking mechanism you probably can't. Additionally you would have to destroy the joints that I have replaced as you will not be able to separate the body otherwise. Her leggings were made by me and snap in the back. Her hat, belt, jumpsuit, shoes, telephone, tray and shoes are a vintage. Her jumpsuit is of unknown age and in fair to good condition.
