This auction is for a collection of five Color Magic Barbies in complete and mint Japanese Exclusive outfits. The dolls are all in excellent, factory original condition All are high color dolls with the exception of one low color doll with ruby red hair and melon colored lips. Two of the dolls are golden blondes and the other two dolls are scarlet red. The dolls all have factory original makeup and their bodies have no flaws or wear. VINTAGE BARBIE Midnight Black/Ruby Red Color Magic Doll in
Vintage Barbie Midnight Color Magic Doll. Excellent condition, original face makeup, beautiful lip color, thick hair with the brown scalp that is used for the Midnight Color Magic doll. She has an American Girl face, the hair is much thicker on these dolls. No missing or thin hair plugs, hair is not dried out or brittle, it has not been trimmed, there are a few short hairs in the front by her part. She has the brown scalp color. The hair changed from brown to ruby red when I wet it with baking soda and water solution. The ruby red color is stunning, check out the pictures. Her hair has now turned back to brown over time. She has about 90% of her nail polish. Her legs bend and hold all 3 positions and they are no loose or sprung, they are snug at the hips. I did see 1 tiny pin tap below her right knee, check out the pictures, it is not a deep pin prick, more of a tap. She has the normal tiny holes on her legs where the bending mechanism is, which is normal on all bend leg dolls. She comes with the Color Magic Fashion Designer Mad Plaid dress and matching purse and green open toed "Japan" heels. She will be shipped safely in a clear plastic box with white liner holding her securely and placed inside a shipping box. Shipping will be by priority mail with insurance and signature confirmation. This vintage Barbie doll from the Color Magic series is a rare find for collectors. The doll comes from Japan and was manufactured in 1966, making it an original piece. Vintage 1966 Color Magic Hi-Color Ruby Red/Midnight Hair Barbie w/Closet/Acces
Beautiful 1966 ALL Original High Color Ruby Red/Midnight Color Magic with her closet and 3 NRFP Accessories, plus booklet with original shoes and original Color Magic Booklet, describing the "how too's" and stylng tips. She has beautiful ALL original face color, cheek's, eyes and lips are nice and bright, no rubs noted. Her "Right" eyebrow is "shorter" than the left, not sure if that is from a "rub" or factory. Her Hair is full, no missing plugs, but NOT thick. There are a few strands of "Black" hair mixed in with the Ruby Red, I can't honestly tell you if her hair had been changed and then changed back, I don't remember. I tried to get pictures, but I'm not a photographer, so apologies.NO Green Ear, no earring holes present.Her Body is in good condition, no loose limbs, however arm's are darkening and leg's are paling in some areas. Not sure if a good spa day would help this or not, I am not an expert.Her knees bend and click 3 times each, and there are no rips or tears anywhere on her body. The bottom of her feet are "dirty" and I attempted to get a pix of that.I am sorry that I was unable to give this girl a bath prior to sale, my age has gotten in the way.She has original nail polish on both hands (faint on Left), and none on her toes. As to the "closet", her box, it is missing the piece on the back that had a "clip" which was her "stand", that held her securely in the box, also the hanger extension and hanger. It has been broken/cracked at one end, both the purple bottom and the clear top due to play, age, storage, etc. Included is a NRFP set of ribbons and I think barettes ?, also the original color changers A and B, although I don't think I would use them due to age. This is a really lovely color magic with thick lucious dark hair and midnight scalp. I do not see any missing or broken plugs. It is the thickest CM hair I’ve seen. Knees bend and click. One holds three clicks. The other holds two. Beautiful high color face!
