eBay This original 1985 Barbie dreamhouse is in brand new condition. This item has never been opened, and is original factory sealed. It also comes with the original shipping box. This item is being sold from the original owner. The original owner purchased this for a family member in 1985, and never was able to give it to them as a gift. It has remained in a box inside of a home in a controlled environment since. Has only been taken out of the box approximately four times. The shipping box has been opened obviously, for photos. The Barbie dream house itself has never been opened. I've inspected the tape very thoroughly, and is original and yellowed as it should be. There is no breakage, rips or tears. This is truly a museum quality piece, for the most avid and serious collectors. This is extremely rare, and likely not one nicer out there. Serious offers may be entertained. This is a vintage believe to be new 1985 Mattel furnished Barbie Dream house. This comes in its original box which shows wear and tape, believe to had gotten wet at one time. This was acquired from someone who had received it from the original owner ( who was a big collector of Barbie among many other dolls. I would like to start out by saying I can not guarantee that every piece is here although it looks really good. The furniture still has its bags decals and small accessories which are still on the original plastic racks not taken apart. There is furniture accessories flowers stickers etc. The house parts themselves look good, the screws are still in the plastic bag which leads me to believe it was never actually put together. There is a refrigerator stove microwave oven vanity dining room set bed tv white sofa that turns into a bed etc. most if not all have the instructions sheet and decals. Vintage Original Mattel Barbie Dream House Furnished 1985
Vintage Barbie Dream House Furnished with no box. The box was in rough shape so we could not keep it. The plastic bags were taped shut so we carefully opened them, wiped some things off, we went through the contents paper for each piece of furniture and the house and everything is there. A couple of papers do have some spots and/or discoloration. There are a couple of items that are no longer attached to the plastic.(see photos) The bed foam has some spots on it and the pillow foam is missing pieces. The bag for the bed and accessories was missing so we used one of our own. If you would like more photos or have any questions, please let me know. This will ship in multiple boxes. Original Mattel Vintage Barbie Dream House-1985 Original Box. This is a 1985 Barbie Dream House with most of its original pieces and box. Comes with 100+ small pieces, plants, and the furniture shown. Some extra pieces have been included. The original building manuals are included. Please know that this is collector-owned and was NEW IN BOX until about 10 years ago for display. All items pictured in this listing, including the original Barbie Dream House box and the shipping box from Mattel are part of this listing. The boxes have some slight water marks from when the house was assembled and the boxes were stored. This is a rare Barbie Dream House in this color and with all the pieces included. Many hours of imaginary play or many memories to relive! Very sweet set that could be made modern with new Barbie furniture sets sold in stores today. Some things we noticed:The kitchen chairs and wicker couch were not part of the set. Some items to note are that 2 pillars have cracked and have yellowed (pictured) due to age. Once assembled, they are not noticeable. A knob is missing from the stove. 2 outside lamps are missing some pegs, but they may be attached to the house with glue if desired. 2 pink clear doors are missing a peg. The refrigerator butter box door is cracked (pictured), but doesn't affect use. Some plants are either missing the peg hole on the bottom of the plant (manufacturer mistake) or is cracked from age. (pictured) Some of the pink plastic shows slight color change (pictured). New sticker sheets included, but may need glue. All screws are included. Some of them are broken and some of them are split but they can still be used as covers once the house is put together. They could also be taped or replacements are available to buy online. 4 Balcony Rails. Latticed doors – There should be four of these, 2 on the front and 2 on the back. 2 of these are missing. One of these was broken but glued back together. The other has a small corner broken off. 2 Flower boxes. The dollhouse is suitable for any age level and doll age group. 1985 COMPLETE, VINTAGE 1978 MATTEL BARBIE DREAM HOUSE Factory Box Furniture Rare
This Barbie house was bought in 1985 for Christmas was played with for a few days then put back up in the closet in a large Rubbermaid container. It was put back in the original factory box and shrink wrap. As you can see I've taken many photos to show their the condition . It looks to have been one piece of new tape that was put across the seam as the other tape being too old. The box is not perfect ..but Very good..Great graphics...but it's still holds itself well. I've never seen a factory box with an original Sears label on it. Also at the time when the it was put away in the closet....the gentleman took photographs... Polaroid snapshots of all of the accessories and pieces that were packed neatly back in the box as he was very meticulous person...so those are to show what exactly comes with this set I believe it to be 100% complete and not a Barbie expert. but I also bought a bunch of other dolls from this guy that you'll be seeing here on my eBay site so you have any questions please ask them and thank you This is a rare and pretty sure complete vintage 1985 Mattel Barbie Dream House, including the original factory box.
