 1960s barbie doll marked Midge and Barbie, and also "Japan" on the bottom of the foot. The doll has brunette or black hair, ponytail style, blue eyeshadow, pearl earrings, straight legs, red painted toenails and fingernails, red lips and is in great condition. The case I bought this with also had a Midge head, freckles, strawberry blonde or reddish blonde hair. Also in nice condition, with blue eyes. It also came with a black metal doll rack, included in this auction, and the extra head is as well.On Sep-15-24 at 13:00:56 PDT, seller added the following information:I'm not a Barbie doll expert, so I've gotten the description wrong. The hair on Midge is blonde, not red, and the doll body probably goes with the Midge doll. The brunette head might be a 1959 #1 head, with replaced earrings. Maybe? Clearly not an expert here. Dolls and cases are in the condition I purchased them in with the exception of wiping down the Ponytail cases. - Ken in Mexico (1963) Blue Eyes, Flocked Brunette Hair (patchy around the crown of the head.) Original paint on face, some light wear on eyebrows. Bottom of right foot stamped Japan. Light marks on tip of nose. Non-bending joints, Joints are mostly tight, arms are a touch loose. No bite marks on feet but possibly on hands, (not terrible, but some blemishes there.) - "Ken in Mexico" outfit looks complete, pants have little intact stirrups, has original black cowboy boots and paper insert. (There is also an insert for Barbie in Mexico but no doll or clothes found.) - Original Ken (1960) Bottom stamped Hawthorn CA USA. Painted on blonde hair shows some wear around the crown of the head. Face paint is original and looks great. No chew marks. Some discoloration on shoulders. Joints are loose, do not bend. - 1960s Brunette Bubblecut Barbie. Red lips and a sideways glance.  This is my all time favorite #3, I have a little vitiligo on my hands and this Beautiful doll seems to have it on her face. She qas pretty much untouched when I purchased her from one of the storage wars TV show sellers. She has faded since I purchased her as she has been out ofcher box. I love her reverse freckles. She has a lovely biscuit tone. She has fabulous hair and kept the way I purchased her. She has some of the fullest bangs that I have seen. Her facepaint looks original and stunning, especially her lips. Please note I do not test paint. Please look at the pics and make up your own mind. No visible nose nips, neck splits or missing digits. This is a wonderful opportunity to get a beautiful doll at a fantastic price. Comes with her original box and accessories shown. Her faults are obvious and so is her beautiful face. Please see all pics as there are no returns on vintage barbie items. The doll was created as a toy and there maybe signs of play wear.  Many lovely features, but not mint. - hair for days, has been reset- no green ear- eyelash ridge, lips, and nails have been retouched- eyebrows original, but one does have rub mark, I kept it because I thought it was charming - rich color throughout, some light fading, but not blotchy.- Legs are lighter, with very light spots on back of left calve and side of right leg- small dark ‘freckles’ which I enjoyed as part of the patina- one noticible dye/ink mark on back left arm, with a few speckles on right armArrived in display box with zebra swimsuit.  eBay This is a rare vintage 1963 Skipper doll with wrist tag by Mattel, stock number 0950, still in its original unopened packaging. The doll has brunette hair and blue eyes, with a straight hair type, freckles, and light complexion. The doll is dressed in a swimsuit and comes with a hairbrush, display stand, wrist tag, booklet, and shoes. This collector's item belongs to the Barbie Little Sister series and has a height of 9 inches. The doll still has the plastic around her head and is perfect! Manufactured in Japan. The doll is a genuine original with features that make it a valuable collector toy. Box also in great condition, few bends or creases, 1 tear at top of box (most likely was processing tag?) PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION BELOW BEFORE PURCHASE REGARDING FLAWS (AND BEAUTY) ON THIS DOLL AS SHE IS SOLD AS IS, NO REFUNDS, NO RETURNS. Up for buy it now is a lovely all original Vintage Barbie #3 Brunette Ponytail Barbie. I am not her original owner but can tell you what I was told by the prior owner. She was sold to me as all original, factory hair, makeup, no retouches. These are the pluses for this stunning doll. She has the more softer palette of a red/orange lip. Barbie’s ponytail appears to be in its original wrap with some hard curl remaining on the ends. It’s slightly flattened from decades in a box but is still shiny and silky. I haven’t removed any rubber bands. I’m not sure if she is missing any hair plugs but to my old eyes I can’t see any missing ones myself. Please see pictures for accuracy. Facial paint is 100% original. She’s been gently cleaned with alcohol swabs, but otherwise untouched. Head is stable with no signs of neck split or knob issues. With my old eyes, I don’t see any nose nips or neck splits, but please see pictures as they are part of the description. All joints hold a pose nicely. Her face, limbs, and solid body are evenly pale, with her back slightly pinker. See info below on the miscellaneous untreated body spots, normally covered by clothing. Stance is good and hips are stable. Doll mark: Barbie ™ Pats. Pend. © MCMLVIII by Mattel Inc. No missing fingers/toes. -Swimsuit not included and just shown for display as is anything else shown in the background. This buy it now is ONLY FOR THE NUDE #3 PONYTAIL BARBIE, no stand, no box, no swimsuit or paperwork. -Displayed in glass cabinet w/low light. -Other than the staining mentioned below and the darkening of the ears, her body appears to have the normal factory markings and little to no playwear but please see pictures as they are part of the description. IMPORTANT TLC ISSUES TO NOTE ON THIS DOLL: 1. No green on ears or anywhere that I can see with my old eyes. However, note, the factory ear piercing holes HAVE DARKENED, but the discoloration appears to be limited mostly to the inside of the earring hole and hasn’t spread as seen in the photos. I haven’t treated this. Prior seller stated: The earring damage is more like silver tarnish than copper green. It hasn’t spread beyond the hole edge. 2. Doll has significant marks/staining on her body on her chest/torso, tush/bum, back, face has one or two faint/barely there dots as can be seen in pictures almost looks like light freckles and on/near her lips at one or both corners there is a slight bit of darkening which can also be seen. I believe this doll was a doll kept inside her box for most of her “lifetime” and hence her flattened ponytail and markings which could be staining from clothing as to my eyes they don’t appear to be marker stains but I really have no idea where the stains came from and I have NOT tried to remove any of the staining anywhere and am unsure if it can be removed. I wanted the new owner to be aware of this. Almost all of it is covered by clothing when she is dressed. Overall, she is a stunning doll and if someone could remove the stains on her body she’d appear mostly mint. These dolls are getting harder and harder to find in any condition and are becoming so expensive. Due to the body stains and darkening of her inside of her ears I am selling her for cheaper than what I paid for her because I loved her beautiful face despite the slight/faint dot(s) and minimal slight hint of darkness on/near the edges of her lips. Brown, and no split corners. Doll still retains beautiful coloring and has her original ribbon and plastic over her hair. She has two “freckles” on her left cheek (see photos), and a dot on her inner right thigh. I have not tried to remove these as I am not removing her from the box.
