NRFB Vintage 1965 Barbie Midge Bendable Leg Hair in Cello NR *Free Ship*TO USA
[FREE SHIPPING to a USA Address] Here is a vintage 1965 Bendable Leg MIDGE Doll, best friend of Barbie of course! She has never been removed from the box. Her hair is still perfectly styled with her hair ribbon in place and her head is covered in the original cello. Her makeup is untouched. Her finger and toenail polish are perfect. Her bathing suit is orginal and in excellent condition. Her wrist tag is firmly attached. The only issue I see is the skin tone on her right leg and arm is more tan than the left, probably due to being displayed with the lid off. The box is in poor condition, please see photos. There are black marks and dents on it although it closes firmly. Vintage Mod Julia Doll w/Gorgeous Bright Yellow Color Magic Hair! Barbie Friend
This is a stunning julia doll with bright yellow hair. She has the typical julia style of choppy straight hair, I don't believe its been cut and no missing plugs. I've had her for a couple years now, I just love her! I got her from a friend, but I have to downsize my dolls a bit. My friend said as is common this julia had color magic hair and she had her color changed. I can't tell you if was a bleach mixture or some secret formula, but her hair is yellow now and it's absolutely beautiful on her. It's soft and smooth, not brittle or rough. Face paint is all original and still nice, just a couple teeny lips rubs noticeable in a close up photo. Fantastic eyelashes. No nose nips, earring holes or necksplits. Body is nice, no missing fingers, no pin pokes. Legs click and hold firmly in 3 positions. No loose or swingy limbs. Vintage Barbie Gay Parisienne Dress, Hat, Stole, Gloves, Earrings and Necklace
eBay Vintage Barbie Gay Parisienne Dress with Hat, Stole, Gloves, Earrings and Necklace. Free Ship with USPS Priority MailBeautiful Ensemble from 1959 that looks great on the early Barbie dolls.This ensemble was pieced together by a Barbie friend in the late 90s and then I purchased from her in 2010. She bought all the pieces separately at shows and conventions. The gloves, earrings, and necklace may originally be from other outfits or paks that had the same accessories as Gay Parisienne. Just want to be as transparent as I can about this special outfit. DRESS is in excellent condition except the tag has frayed so can't tell if it's TM or R. It has the YKK zipper.RABBIT STOLE is showing its age. As you can see in the photo it has some matted areas. There is some darker fur, but I don't know if the original fur was that way or if it is smudged or just aging. Please see the photo where the glove is pointing out a dark area. The lining has darkened a bit and there is an age spot or stain near the Barbie label and is visible in the photo. Both parts of the hook closure are there. The Barbie tag on the fur is R, but as I mentioned above it was purchased separately from the dress so it doesn't mean the dress is also R.HAT is lovely and has the 2 beads. JEWELRY & GLOVES- the necklace has nice coloring and doesn't feel loose, but there is a little thread showing, please see photo. The pearl earrings have corroded pin posts. Gloves are fine, no holes. American Girl Era Bubble Cut OLD STORE STOCK! NIB Friend of Ponytail Barbie
This vintage very rare Bubble Cut Barbie, boxed, with all associated items, is new-in-box (NIB) that was made when Mattel started producing the American Girl Barbie doll. She is indeed NEW, but, I decided to listed her as "used," which I will mention later in this description why I am listing her as such. Found in stockroom of a store that closed in the 1960s, never put out front of store so she was never sold to the public. She is considered a "transitional" American Girl Era Bubble Cut Barbie due to her having the American Girl face and not the face on normal Bubble Cuts. She has American Girl markings on her neck rim that state: ©1958 Mattel, Inc., and she comes with a gold wire stand. Those are three attributes you see on the American Girl Barbie dolls and not on Bubble Cuts. For these reasons, this doll is an American Girl era "transitoinal" Bubble Cut Barbie doll. Earlier this year I ran across a listing exactly like my doll. That eBay seller listed this exact same doll asking $775 BIN and she sold it. What I found interesting is that other seller stated her doll was a transitional Bubble Cut made in the American Girl era as having markings on her neck that showed: ©1958 Mattel, Inc., had American Girl face, and came with a gold wire stand. This doll is same as the other seller's doll. However, I needed to view her neck rim to make sure when I list her, I am right on description for this doll. The only way for me to find was to remove her from her box, carefully remove her head from her body, and view her neck rim. This would be the first time I have ever removed her from her box! I carefully removed her from her box as to avoid putting another crease or tearing box insert and then very carefully, I removed her head. I am very happy to report, the markings of ©1958 Mattel, Inc., is indeed on the rim of her neck. However, this was when I saw a yellow substance on the inside her neck rim. This was a surprise to me. I do not know what the yellow substance is, but you need to see this substance. Of course once her head is placed back onto her body, yellow substance is hidden. My photo showing neck rim was added to this listing and is blurry, hard to even see the markings on this neck rim, but markings are there. I very carefully placed her head back onto her body and did not ruin integrity of head hole opening. There are no split(s) made in doing this investigation to this doll's neck hole opening. I have always stored her in a clear plastic zippered case not only for protection against home environment. Her box fits inside this protective case perfectly. You will receive the clear protective case too. This rare American Girl Era "transitional" Bubble Cut Barbie doll still has her wrist tag and box insert does have one staple on each side from factory. Her booklet and red Japan open toe shoes are still sealed in original cello. Now for the reason I am listing her as "used." Even though she is a NEW old store stock doll, I decided to list her as "USED" for these reasons: both her ears have greening due to wearing post earrings, her post earrings are missing, she has been removed from box, there is a super tiny tear to box insert where her feet go into the holes, there is some paint missing on her lips, there is crease in box insert located each side of her shoulders, torn off graphic on end flap that I feel was the price tag and someone removed it, and now, I just discovered that yellow substance inside her neck rim. Please know I am not the original owner of this doll. I am the second owner. I received her with her earrings removed so this doll was taken out of her box before she came to me. I WISH TO THANK MY DEAR BARBIE BUDDY, ETHEL that lives in northeast U.S. for giving me this doll in support for my quest to raise funds to help my son that has cancer. Thank you Ethel! Live Action Christie Doll & Outfit AA Barbie’s Friend Mattel #1175 TLC This Live Action Christie doll from Mattel (#1175) is in fabulous condition! The main reason for the TLC designation is that she has a light musty smell. “© 1968 Mattel, Inc. U.S. & Foreign Patented Patented in Canada 1967 Other Patents Pending Taiwan” is on her rear. She was produced in the early 1970s. She comes with her original outfit: matching orange, purple, and lime top and pants, orange scarf, and purple-ish pink shoes. No stand. Besides the arms, legs, and head that turn, the Live Action dolls also move at the waist and wrists and bend at the elbows and knees. Her body is free of marks but there is a small scuffed area on her rear. Her rooted hair will need some styling. Her features and rooted eyelashes look very good, but there is a small light spot on her forehead. There are a few small areas on her legs where the knee-bending mechanism is trying to poke through – something I have seen on many of these bendy legged dolls. Her clothes are in good condition. She is 11-1/2” tall, so she can wear Barbie’s clothes. Her feet are almost flat, though, so she will need the shoes that were designed for flat-footed Barbies. Doll stand in photos not included.
