Vintage barbie lot. I'll try to do my best to describe as I was starting to out things in plastic bags I decided to leave the rest for you. There are so many things that it's nearly impossible for me to figure out. Tons of clothing with very little wear /play but much wrinkled. Lots of shoes, and little books purses pantyhose dresses , little pieces of furnishings, plants , 3 different kinds of stuffed dogs A case with built in furniture as well a barbie doll . As I decided to put her in with this huge doll lot. This is definitely a great item to have for collectors tons of things not even shown it's probably going to feel like christmas sorting through all of the little pieces and clothes ect....some clothing don't have the barbie tag and the majority do. There will be a total of 4 doll cases and bags for the other stuff. Vintage (1985) Barbie Dreamhouse Furnished W/Box /Accessories HTF-READ
This is a vintage believe to be new 1985 Mattel furnished Barbie Dream house. This comes in its original box which shows wear and tape, believe to had gotten wet at one time. This was acquired from someone who had received it from the original owner ( who was a big collector of Barbie among many other dolls. I would like to start out by saying I can not guarantee that every piece is here although it looks really good. The furniture still has its bags decals and small accessories which are still on the original plastic racks not taken apart. There is furniture accessories flowers stickers etc. The house parts themselves look good, the screws are still in the plastic bag which leads me to believe it was never actually put together. There is a refrigerator stove microwave oven vanity dining room set bed tv white sofa that turns into a bed etc. most if not all have the instructions sheet and decals. Vintage Original Mattel Barbie Dream House Furnished 1985
Vintage Barbie Dream House Furnished with no box. The box was in rough shape so we could not keep it. The plastic bags were taped shut so we carefully opened them, wiped some things off, we went through the contents paper for each piece of furniture and the house and everything is there. A couple of papers do have some spots and/or discoloration. There are a couple of items that are no longer attached to the plastic.(see photos) The bed foam has some spots on it and the pillow foam is missing pieces. The bag for the bed and accessories was missing so we used one of our own. If you would like more photos or have any questions, please let me know. This will ship in multiple boxes. The pieces were styled after the Danish Modern furniture so popular in the 1950's. The furniture was made in Japan and crafted from wood. Soon after, Mattel Modern Furniture was discontinued and ever since collectors have searched for and coveted these little gems. These highly collectible pieces were produced in Japan in 1958 and modeled after mid-century modern Danish furniture of the period – they are made of real wood and have many original details, as the commercial says the textiles are “real decorator fabric”. This furniture was produced the year before Barbie came on the scene and although many people thought it was designed for Barbie, at 12” tall she and Ken were just too big for it. Later Barbie designed doll-houses and furniture was designed at the appropriate 1/6th scale.Check out the vintage commercial - super cool! Condition: There is some wear to various boxes and a couple of them are drawn on, there is some dried out foam rubber filling loss on some of the cushions, some minor wood separation due to age - at 65 years old, the furniture is in excellent unplayed with condition. I have been collecting modern doll furniture and dollhouses for over 25 years and this is the most complete set I have seen... Up for sale is one 1978 Barbie Dream House. This Barbie Dream House is in mint condition in an open box. This is every doll collectors dream. It was owned by one person and stored away for years. The original factory sealed tape on the box has lifted. The parts that are still taped on I show in the pictures. Because this box was open, I had to inspect it carefully to make sure all the pieces were there. The screws for the dream house are sealed in their original bag. The green plastic pegs that go in the flower boxes, a few of them have come apart from the original plastic. They were loose in the original bag. I show this in the pictures. The color on the box is good but the box is slightly beaten up. You can see the corners. I show this in the pictures. The pieces in the box are slightly dusty because they have been stored away for so long. The color on the dream house is good. The white pieces are white. I was happy to see that they didn’t have discoloration from aging. If you are not familiar with this dream house, let me get you get acquainted. This is an a frame Dream House. It has three separate sections that make 6 rooms. The model number is 2588. This is the unfurnished version. It has a brown roof. It has yellow floors and yellow windows. The yellow windows and balcony doors are still sealed in the original plastic bag. It has yellow entry doors and yellow balcony doors. It comes with a closet with mirrored decals to stick on closet doors and six pink hangers to hang Barbie's clothes on. It also comes with original instructions, original warranty card and a Barbie Dream House Dream Furniture collection catalog so you can pick out the furniture you want to put in your dream house. The plastic flowers for the planter boxes are still sealed in the original packaging. This box is heavy. 34 pounds when packaged. It has been packaged with care. Original Mattel Vintage Barbie Dream House-1985 Original Box. This is a 1985 Barbie Dream House with most of its original pieces and box. Comes with 100+ small pieces, plants, and the furniture shown. Some extra pieces have been included. The original building manuals are included. Please know that this is collector-owned and was NEW IN BOX until about 10 years ago for display. All items pictured in this listing, including the original Barbie Dream House box and the shipping box from Mattel are part of this listing. The boxes have some slight water marks from when the house was assembled and the boxes were stored. This is a rare Barbie Dream House in this color and with all the pieces included. Many hours of imaginary play or many memories to relive! Very sweet set that could be made modern with new Barbie furniture sets sold in stores today. Some things we noticed:The kitchen chairs and wicker couch were not part of the set. Some items to note are that 2 pillars have cracked and have yellowed (pictured) due to age. Once assembled, they are not noticeable. A knob is missing from the stove. 2 outside lamps are missing some pegs, but they may be attached to the house with glue if desired. 2 pink clear doors are missing a peg. The refrigerator butter box door is cracked (pictured), but doesn't affect use. Some plants are either missing the peg hole on the bottom of the plant (manufacturer mistake) or is cracked from age. (pictured) Some of the pink plastic shows slight color change (pictured). New sticker sheets included, but may need glue. All screws are included.
