eBay This is a very rare MABA Barbie. Mattel entered into an agreement with Bandai Co. Ltd. (of Japan). They named their company Ma-Ba, which is the first two letters of each companies name.They were made for the Japanese market and sold at P.B. stores (Pretty Bunny) during 1986 - 1988. She marked © MATTEL INC. 1966. MALAYSIA. Please review the pictures closely as they are partbof the decription, more pictures are available upon request. She is dressed in her original P.B. Black Evening dress with a faux fur wrap and panties. The dress is marked MABA. This dress was a replica of Solo in the Spotlight with faux fur wrap and panties. Her dress is marked MABA. She has a twist n turn (TNT) waist and movable head. Her face is in perfect condition. Her hair, as shown, her original rubber band has disintegrated. I used another rubber band for photos. She comes as pictured with her clothing and original stand. Bottom of the stand it reads © ma-ba Corp. 1986 Made in Japan (Later stands have the 1988 date).
