But the #1 has a simmering beauty as seen in her steely black/white irises and ruby red lips. And she was the first. This is your chance to buy this VHTF and highly coveted first Barbie at a reasonable price.This girl has her iconic eye makeup in perfect condition, as well as her ruby red lips, smoky shadow, and nose dots. Barbie #1 Ponytail- Fabulous . SPECIAL OFFER
This is the One and Only Iconic #1 Ponytail Barbie, “born” on March 9, 1959. She is fabulous with a soft blonde ponytail that looks like it has the original tie.The curl at bottom of the ponytail has been cinched into a tight curl, held in place with some small amount of product. (See pictures.)Her bangs have what appears to be two rows of tiny original curls,No nose nips or neck splits. No strange smells. No spots or marks.Her torso and arms enjoy uniformly peach tones. No fading of the ivory skin color, of her torso. Her face is a tiny bit paler, hardly noticeable.As with most of the earliest Barbies, she has a faded, light reddish gray stain across the tops of her feet from wearing her early black heels for 60 years.Her lip paint is perfect, no rubs.She also has a wonderful, hard-to-find “nipple” body.She also has the metal rods in her feet. I am downsizing and need to find new homes for my dolls, I have an extensive collection and will be listing more over the next few months, as I can get to it Exceptionally nice #3 Brunette Barbie, she is all original and had no work done on her Nipple Body is a nice creamy shade, legs are still a little pinker than the rest of her body, actually is more apparent in photos than it is in hand.She has a beautiful face, and harder to find BLUE EYESHADOW and 100% red polish. (I do not do testing on my dolls, but was told by original owner that nothing was ever done to her) completely ORIGINAL Hair is in original set and has a few "fly-aways" and is not pulled as tight as some of my other dolls, but she has always looked perfect to me.Barbie has no nips, splits or green ear. Original #3 Barbie From 1960 In Beautiful Condition.
Here is a #3 Barbie with blonde hair with an original factory braided ponytail. The bottom band has been replaced. She has aged beautifully. She has the nipple chest. Her paint is all original and all joints are tight. No green ears. Barbie doll comes with original swimsuit, original heels, original pearl earrings, original hoop earrings, original stand and a pair of faux pearl earrings. Also included is a supposed reproduction of the #1 fashion booklet. I say that because it is worded on the cover. I don’t know where it came from. It looks just like the original, both in the feel of the paper and the coloring. I can’t tell the difference. If anyone knows please let me know. Vintage Japan Barbie Doll TM Ponytail #3 Brunette 1960 Rare Nipple Blue Eyeliner
Gorgeous 1960 made in Japan number three ponytail Barbie doll. This Barbie is in very good condition with very few flaws. Her make up is in original excellent condition. Her hair is very full. There are no missing plugs. She has a couple of smudges on her face and body, but nothing awful and she is very displayable. She is also very rare as she has the early nipple body. Number threes typically had the brown eye line, but this is the rare blue eyeliner. The brunette dolls were also rarer as there was one brunette made for every three blonde Barbies. The doll has faded to a beautiful creamy white color, which only the first three in the bar line could do.She has faded a little unevenly as the left side of her body, specifically her arms and leg are a slight shade darker on her left side. She has no brakes or splits and has her fingernail polish. She is marked TM on her backside, indicating an earlier body.I will ship for free within the continental United States using USPS priority mail service. Vintage #3 Blonde Ponytail Barbie Doll w Original Zebra Suit 1960
Vintage Original #3 TM Blonde Barbie Doll No. 850 from 1960 wearing her original zebra stripe swimming suit. She is such a pretty doll. She has all her blonde hair still in its factory ponytail. However, it’s come a loose on top and the curls of her bangs and the pony ends look a messier than when new. I replaced the lower elastic. Her makeup/face paint is original from what I can tell. She has the blue eyeshadow and red lips and blush. She has a bit of a scratch in her lips and her blush is faded. No green ear and no neck splits I could see without removing her head. Her head does seem to tilt back a little from her neck creating a bit of a gap. However, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the neck knob. Her body is in good condition. It’s the correct solid TM "nipple" body & she smells like crayons. She has faded to a fairly even ivory color. No loose limbs. She has her red nail polish on both hands and toe the toes of her right foot. She has some damage to her toes on her left foot (see photos). She also has some pitting scratching on the backs of her calves. I gently removed her swimming suit, gave her a mild wipe-down took photos and put it back on. So, I feel like she could use a more in-depth cleaning. She's marked Barbie on her bottom. But, the TM looks like it got smeared during the molding. She's marked JAPAN lengthwise on her right foot. She is wearing her original zebra stripe swimming suit. No holes, stains or odors. Just some minor age related wear. Please see the photos for full condition details. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

All original brunette #3 Ponytail Barbie with brown eyeliner. Thick and Long dark brown hair with full set of poodle curls. No missing hair plugs. Appears to be in an original set, but top knot and lower part of the ponytail had their rubber bands replaced and remnants of deteriorated rubber band remains. Bottom part of the ponytail will probably have to be reset with her curl. Barbie has all her original face/ nostrils, fingernail, and toenail paint. Also no rubs or missing paint, There is a factory hole at each earlobe where her earrings were put in, with no signs of green, dark holes, or discoloration.
