Beautiful Vintage #1 Ponytail Barbie Doll 1959 One Owner OG Stand & Collection!
RARE FIND! Number One Blonde Ponytail Barbie with the Original Early Fashions, Pronged TM Mattel #1 Stand Accessories and Case Little nine year old Alice received the first issue Barbie teenage fashion doll for Christmas in 1959. Mattel’s Barbie had just made her debut at the International Toy show in New York. This is a rare opportunity to own a very special number one Barbie with the original “one owner” childhood collection. It includes many early fashions, complete with the jewelry and accessories This Ponytail Barbie is stunning with her cute upturned nose and signature ponytail. She has dramatic lightning shaped eyebrows and handpainted makeup ; blue side glancing eyes, blue eyeliner, smoky eye shadow, coral red lips, red fingernails and toenails. She’s truly stunning and in remarkable condition for being 64 years old. She is 99% original and retains most of her original factory characteristics This number one blonde ponytail has the extended hairline, which is different from the number threes and later dolls. She is very unusual and rare in that she has two distinctly different hairlines from left to right. Her right side is curved and differs from the straighter hairline on the left. She is wearing her original hairstyle set with the top knot and hard curl at the bottom. The ponytail has been retied with matching colored thread as the band was shot. Her hair is uncut and she has no missing plugs. She has a flocked scalp, silky floss hair in baby chick yellow, full poodle bangs with well defined curls and a cute spit curl on her forehead. Her make up is excellent. as is the the nail and toenail polish. She has all of the correct markings on her bottom; Mattel Barbie TM, 1958 in Roman numerals, pat pending and the number 65. She is marked Japan on the bottom of one foot. Her limbs are nice and tight, but she is able to hold any pose. Her neck moves freely, and there are no issues. She has beautiful and even creamy, pale pinkish ivory body color which is amazing as I e usually sees a in e sort of fading . She has beautiful straight legs with the desired daylight shown only between the thigh and knee , and knee and ankle…A sign of classical beauty with models. She has holes in each of her feet with the original copper tubes present. And she even has her original Mattel TM two prong stand which is very valuable! She has had very minor work done.. a professional restoration to her right pinky and a little touch up to her eyelash ridges. There was also one teeny pinpoint freckle on her left leg just below the knee that has been touched up to match the body color . If you look closely at the photos, you will see how gorgeous this doll is. I have not seen one in original condition that is this outstanding. Barbie has a boyfriend , Ken, who will be listed in a separate listing. Blonde Barbie comes with her original iconic black and white swimsuit, white cat, eyeglasses, black, OT mules with holes. Thankfully her feet do not have any of the staining that is typical with these Barbies. She also has her original gold bangle, hoop earrings! One hole per ear and no green ear! How perfect is this girl?! She is FABULOUS! It was so fun to find Barbie in her original little nest with all the fun boxes and precious accessories that Alice had lovingly kept and preserved. You can tell that this Barbie was truly loved and treasured. Alice did not let other children touch or play with her doll :-)*** This collection would not be complete without a photo of little Alice in December of 1959 around the time that she received this Barbie for Christmas. The photo is included here and a printed copy along with the original provenance of this doll will come with the collection upon request Barbie will come with her original white Ponytail case , dated 1961. A couple minor tears at the seams. And her original TM #1 Ponytail fashion booklet along with the second issue with Barbie and Ken in silhouette in the cover . Vintage Side Part American Girl Barbie standard body in Europe GALA ABEND Reroot
The outfit is nearly complete with jacket, dress, silver clutch, gloves, pearl necklace, and repro dance card booklet. Has pale blue open toe shoes instead of original glittered clear shoes. I believe the only thing missing to make this outfit complete is the correct shoes.

VTG WORLD OF BARBIE FASHIONS STORE DISPLAY, STACEY, PJ, MOD BARBIE, 4 DOLLS 1970
eBay Up for auction is a vintage Barbie store display, which is dated 1970. This "World of Barbie Fashion Boutique" set is an estate find that is incredibly rare! It includes four dolls: two mod Barbie dolls, a Stacey doll, and a PJ doll. Stacey is wearing a pink negligee set with poodle slippers but the other three dolls are wearing mod fashions. From left to right, the first doll is wearing a yellow pant suit set with yellow high heels, the second is wearing a multi-colored abstract patterned mini dress with green high heels, and the PJ doll is wearing an outfit that epitomizes the 1960s and early 70s: an orange mini dress with plaid skirt and matching orange coat and plaid scarf, with yellow boots. All of the dolls are in new condition, with all original outfits and wrist tags. Each silver tag is marked with the name of the doll on one side and "Made in Japan" on the other. They are charmingly posed in their original store display which is in excellent condition. The blonde Stacey doll has shifted position over the years so that she is partially blocking one of the Barbie dolls, but she seems to be stable at this point. The store display does show some wear, including dents in the plastic, which can be popped out a bit but tend to want to return to their dented state. There are no holes in the plastic though. There is a small area with adhesive residue (probably from a sticker that was removed at some point) on the front and slight slits in the plastic on the top and bottom of the display. There is mild wear to the cardboard in places. I took lots of pictures so please view all of the pictures carefully as they are part of the description. There are no unpleasant odors.This is a must have for the serious Barbie collector!Thank you for looking at my auction. I try hard to disclose any condition issues but it is easy to miss things so please feel free to ask questions or request more pictures. BARBIE Vintage JAPANESE EXCLUSIVE Red Velvet Coat with White Fur Outfit - Rare
eBay Presenting the vintage Mattel original, very rare, Japanese Exclusive Barbie outfit. The outfit is complete and was on the cover of "Barbie Bazaar" magazine - December, 2001 - photo #13. Outfit is in beautiful little play condition and is further described: 1) Red velvet coat with white fur trim and large white buttons. Excellent condition - no holes, no tears, no seam pulls, no stains, no rubs to velvet. Fur is snow white with no shedding. Some very subtle darkening on the velvet on the sides - either from aging or handling.2) Red silk sheath dress. Very good, crisp condition - no holes, no tears, no soil. All top stitching is intact. Stress on top of both shoulder seams and three itty, bitty faint microscopic spots on front (camera doesn't pick up.)3) White hood with fur trim. Excellent no play condition - crisp, spotless, flawless & pristine. Fur is snow white with no shedding. 4) White vinyl clutch purse with silver bead. Doesn't appear to have ever been open. No rubs to bead. Discoloration on front, left side - caused by whatever was stored next to it. 5) White closed toe heels with Japan on the bottoms. Pure white with no discoloration, no fingernail impressions, no wear. Tiny split on back of one - possibly came this way from Mattel factory. These shoes were the actually ones with this outfit. Should you prefer another pair of no-play white CT's, please let us know at payment and we will switch them out. 6) White filigree Barbie hanger.7) Pair of short, white gloves. 1965 " BARBIE #1034 HOSTESS SET " RARE FIND ~ GREAT PCS. ALL GREAT CONDITION
eBay ALL THE ACCESSORIES ARE IN GREAT CONDITION . There is only 3 candies for the cake with very nice colors and NO melt makrs. Only ONE fork and 2 knifes. The bottom of the record player has Skipper written in pencil across the card board bottom. ONE of the sparkly open toe shoes has the end of the heel missing ~ both open toe shoes ~have a LOT sparkles. Both sponges are very nice with a small part of the white missing on one at the top and the other sponge has a little more missing. ALL the silver color pots and lids are nice and shiny with handles. The toaster has nice sliver shiny color BUT does not work. ALL 3 pots and lids are in great condition with NO melt marks. The candle sticks are solid with bright silver color and great pink candles. The pink plates and cups with handles are very nice with a tiny dark spot on bottom of one plate and the rest in near mint.ALL the clothes are in great condition with bright colors. The gold belt has shiny gold color all over ~ with a little of the top gold on the belt lifted in a couple of spots but ALL there ~ may be hard to get around the sparkles very nice vest. The Barbie dress and soft red belt is a tiny bit still. The red jump suit is in great condition with very nice sheer over lay , working zipper and NO open seams AND the loop attached as well.
