VTG WORLD OF BARBIE FASHIONS STORE DISPLAY, STACEY, PJ, MOD BARBIE, 4 DOLLS 1970
eBay Up for auction is a vintage Barbie store display, which is dated 1970. This "World of Barbie Fashion Boutique" set is an estate find that is incredibly rare! It includes four dolls: two mod Barbie dolls, a Stacey doll, and a PJ doll. Stacey is wearing a pink negligee set with poodle slippers but the other three dolls are wearing mod fashions. From left to right, the first doll is wearing a yellow pant suit set with yellow high heels, the second is wearing a multi-colored abstract patterned mini dress with green high heels, and the PJ doll is wearing an outfit that epitomizes the 1960s and early 70s: an orange mini dress with plaid skirt and matching orange coat and plaid scarf, with yellow boots. All of the dolls are in new condition, with all original outfits and wrist tags. Each silver tag is marked with the name of the doll on one side and "Made in Japan" on the other. They are charmingly posed in their original store display which is in excellent condition. The blonde Stacey doll has shifted position over the years so that she is partially blocking one of the Barbie dolls, but she seems to be stable at this point. The store display does show some wear, including dents in the plastic, which can be popped out a bit but tend to want to return to their dented state. There are no holes in the plastic though. There is a small area with adhesive residue (probably from a sticker that was removed at some point) on the front and slight slits in the plastic on the top and bottom of the display. There is mild wear to the cardboard in places. I took lots of pictures so please view all of the pictures carefully as they are part of the description. There are no unpleasant odors.This is a must have for the serious Barbie collector!Thank you for looking at my auction. RARE Gorgeous Vintage 1960s Silver Brunette Long Hair High Color American Girl Barbie Doll in Very Nice Vintage Condition. She is being sold NUDE, the outfit and stand are not included.She is so pretty and very hard to come by. She has long silvery brunette hair with no missing plugs. Her scalp if factory painted brown (see close up where I lifted her hair). She has all fingers and toes, no green ear, no neck splits, her left leg clicks and holds 3 positions, her right leg clicks and holds 2 positions. Her right leg will sway out slightly if tugged but is still firmly in the socket. She has no bite marks and is very clean overall. She has some light prick marks around her ears that I took close ups of. It doesn't appear that any made it though the vinyl. Her hair is parted more on her left side (I don't know if you consider her a side part or not), I took a close up for you to determine that yourself. I lightly touched up her brows, eyelash tips, lips, nails and blushed her cheeks. eBay Presenting the vintage Mattel original, very rare, Japanese Exclusive Barbie outfit. The outfit is complete and was on the cover of "Barbie Bazaar" magazine - December, 2001 - photo #13. Outfit is in beautiful little play condition and is further described: 1) Red velvet coat with white fur trim and large white buttons. Excellent condition - no holes, no tears, no seam pulls, no stains, no rubs to velvet. Fur is snow white with no shedding. Some very subtle darkening on the velvet on the sides - either from aging or handling.2) Red silk sheath dress. Very good, crisp condition - no holes, no tears, no soil. All top stitching is intact. Stress on top of both shoulder seams and three itty, bitty faint microscopic spots on front (camera doesn't pick up.)3) White hood with fur trim. Excellent no play condition - crisp, spotless, flawless & pristine. Fur is snow white with no shedding. 4) White vinyl clutch purse with silver bead. Doesn't appear to have ever been open. No rubs to bead. Discoloration on front, left side - caused by whatever was stored next to it. 5) White closed toe heels with Japan on the bottoms. Pure white with no discoloration, no fingernail impressions, no wear. Tiny split on back of one - possibly came this way from Mattel factory. These shoes were the actually ones with this outfit. Should you prefer another pair of no-play white CT's, please let us know at payment and we will switch them out. 6) White filigree Barbie hanger.7) Pair of short, white gloves. Very Special! 1960 #3 Brunette Ponytail Barbie with gown, box, mic + 1994 repro
eBay My mom collected Barbie dolls since they first came out and this was the prized possession of her collection. This is a brunette No. 3 Barbie from 1960. Model #850. She has blue eyes, brown eyeliner and red lips. Also, red polish on fingernails and toenails. She has original gold hoop earrings, and her ears are in great condition (no green around holes). She wears the 1960 Solo in the Spotlight original black gown with tulle and red rose. She has her original pink chiffon scarf and long black gloves (there is also one extra black glove I'm including) and a plastic silver microphone. She also comes with a pair of original white sunglasses with blue lens and black, open-toed high heels (which have separated in the front – see photo). Her face, arms and feet are perfect. Her body smells like crayon and faded to an ivory color. Her beautiful, soft, shiny hair features poodle curl bangs and a ponytail, which seems to be original. Her hair may need re-styling. This doll was displayed but not played with (see photos). She has a small crack on her torso near her right hip (see photo). And a crack at the front of her neck and head is glued to her body (see photo). My mom put a black ribbon around her neck, which covers the crack and looks stylish. In this lot I'm also including the 1990 Barbie trading card for the 1960 Solo in the Spotlight doll, the card is in perfect condition. And, included is a 1994 Special Edition Reproduction of this 1960 Solo in the Spotlight doll and outfit. The box is slightly crushed, but the doll has not been removed from the box and is in perfect condition. My mom loved her dolls and I’m hoping to find a new owner that will love this one too. VTG ‘66-‘67 AMERICAN GIRL LONG CHARCOAL BRUNETTE Barbie in Hostess Set #1034
Vintage Late 1966-67 Long Charcoal Brunette American Girl Barbie Doll. Barbie is absolutely beautiful with her flawless hair style and wonderful makeup, see images. She comes with her original bend leg body marked: ©1958/ Mattel, Inc./ U.S. Patented/ U.S. Pat.Pend/Made In Japan (all markings raised= late ‘66-‘67 doll), see image. All joints are tight, there is no flop in her legs when wiggled side to side. Her right hand has a red dot and scratch on forearm, see images. All nail paint on hands looks great. She has NO green ear because no piercings, but does have a tiny gouge near her right temple, see images. No neck splits, but there is some discoloration at top of her back of her neck, see image. Hair is gorgeous and neatly parted down the middle. Her left leg does not bend as I believe the mechanism is broken, it is permanently in the first click position, see images. Her right leg bends and holds to two clicks only, see images. Barbie comes dressed in her 1965 fashion Hostess Set #1034. Outfit is original and comes with beautiful russet red chiffon overlay jumpsuit, sparkling red and gold tabard, and gold lamé belt, see images. The closed toe red pumps and the gold clutch did not originally come with this set but are a perfect compliment to it, see images. The outfit is in great shape with only one visible pin hole from Barbie’s pinky on the back left of the chiffon jumpsuit and there seems to be a snap missing on the back of the jumpsuit, see images. She comes with a large amount of original hostess set accessories: toaster with two slices of bread, one knife, one fork missing a tine, one broken spoon, record player with one red and one blue record, 3 casserole dishes with lids, coffee maker with lid, tea kettle, silver teapot, and a few cups and saucers (1 cup appears to be not original, but added as a bonus), see images for items and condition. Gorgeous vintage ash/silver brunette high color long-haired American Girl Barbie doll wearing the #1614 Junior Prom outfit. She is in excellent condition; no green ear, neck splits, nose nips, or chew marks. She has a light red stain on one arm. Both knees click 3 times, and her limbs are all nice and tight. Hair is thick and soft. Makeup and polish are good. I did touch up her eyelid ridges with acrylic. Outfit is extremely nice, with very little sign of wear. Includes the original white tagless stole, red Japan heels, lingvwhite tricot gloves, and added red dangle earrings. She comes with the white display box, but there no stand. Smoke-free home.
