Mattel 1963-64 Barbie And Ken Doll Little Theatre Fold Out Cardboard Ser & ACC's
Fresh to market from a central Illinois State comes this awesome, little played with, survivor, Barbie and Ken Little theater cardboard fold-out playset with lots of accessories, some still unpunched, and with the entire curtain set up still sealed in its original bag. I am kind of a novice with barbies, but I was asked to sell this for a friend whose mother died recently, and this was the prize of her collection. Please review photos, I am happy to include more, but I used as many photos as eBay would allow. Most of the items are unpunched, including the couch, some equipment pieces, and though I am sure there are parts missing, I have tried to capture everything that is here, including double-sided backdrops and stage displays. A long strip of tickets see photos. Please note there is a slight separation of the paper on the back that was originally glued but is evidently come apart a bit, I will not mess with it. I did not fold the set completely out for fear of hurting the cardboard, and though here and there there is a bend or slight crease, I do not see any major use or indication of real damage. The colors are quite uniform, I do not see any staining or degradation of the paper or contents. Please review photos. Even the instructions and set up guide by Mattel chicago, illinois, dated 1964, is intact. Mattel Barbie's Cardboard Fashion Shop Playset 1962
Vintage Mattel 1962 Barbie Cardboard Fashon Shop made in the U.S.A. is in excellent condition. The outside cardboard enclosure is still nice with only minor punch marks on one of the sides but does not go through the cardboard (see picture). The plastic black handle is original and one of the holes where the handle goes is a little oversize from use and I guess the child put some tape on the area so the handle would not come out, however if you turn the handle sideways you can remove it. There is no reason to remove the handle because the other pieces to the playset will slide right out of the enclosure. The table and two chairs are in excellent condition. The Barbie cardboard manikin is excellent but has two creases, one at each leg at top of cardboard support (see Picture) which does not affect the manikin to stand up. The Fashion Shop model entrance is excellent. The curtain is the original one that came with the playset (needs cleaning). The model's stage is excellent. The cardboard mirror is nice but has wear and needs cleaning. The show case is very nice but has a bow at the top seam on the clear plastic also looking through the inside the left back door has a crease down the door where it is folded (see picture). The corner of the shop which has the manikin head in the window is in excellent condition. The front of shop building is excellent, the window clear plastic is excellent, and the inside is excellent. There are a total of 8 Fashion Show Cards and 8 Fashion Model Cards in excellent condition. One of the model cards was written on with pensile but erased. There are 3 magazine cards in excellent condition which are Barbie Magazine, Style Magazine and Sub/Deb Fashions. This is a hard set to find in excellent condition. VINTAGE BARBIE AND KEN LITTLE THEATRE MATTEL EXCELLENT PLUS CONDITION ...
This vintage Barbie and Ken Little Theatre by Mattel is a doll playset made of cardboard. The set is in excellent plus condition, making it a desirable collectible for fans of vintage dolls and doll playsets. The pictures are a BIG part of the description. The furniture, 6 backdrops, 8 wing peices, the play script, the grand curtain and the tickets are all in excellent if not perfect condition. The majority of the tickets are present with only a few missing. The header over the stage has the beginnings of a crease but it is still structurally sound and doesn't show at all on the front side. There are a few places that someone has used a little clear tape to keep the outside from any potential rips. The toggle closure is partially broken (see pictures.) The structure has normal wear to the outside but the inside is nearly perfect. The grand curtain works perfectly and it is gorgeous as you can see in the pictures. This is a rare and original Barbie & Ken Little 1963 and marketed 1964. There is wear for its age, but overall lovely. Please look at pictures carefully and feel free to contact us with questions.The curtain is still vivid and in good condition and goes up and down. (The lift bar on top does have tape but functions fine)There are 3 stage backdrops with images on both sides for 6 scenes. They are vivid and in good condition. One backdrop is a little warped but still fits. There are 4 stage left/right panels and 1 tree with images on back for 10 images total, all in good condition The script book is in good condition with just some fraying on back page and on bottom. All 82 pages are intact with the original 7 plays. It also has 6 pages highlighting the Barbie and Ken Theatre and Travel Costumes The tickets for the plays are in good condition with 4 tickets for each play except for Sleeping Beauty and A Thousand and One Nights that has 3 tickets each.The original throne chair is in worn condition with some tape but still works. The headboard on the bed is original but the bed itself is not. A long table is included and looks original to the set.A satin pillow is included but not original. The stage doors open and close nicelyThe outside of the theatre is in fair condition with some tears at the bottom and top but there are no water or other visible marks. Vintage 1964 Barbie & Ken Little Theatre and All Accessories by Mattel
Here is a 1964 Barbie and Ken Little Theatre. It is in good, but definitely played-with, condition. Even though the outside has wear and tear, the inside of the theater when it is open has very little (if any) visible damage. The curtain is in excellent condition and raises up and down with ease. Everything that came with it originally is here. There are 2 plastic pieces to sturdy the folds in the side of the theater when it is set up, 3 cardboard scenery back drops with scenes on each side, 4 cardboard scenery side pieces with scenes on each side and 1 cardboard tree (with summer on one side and autumn on the other side), 28 cardboard tickets, a cardboard bed, a cardboard table, a cardboard throne, a cardboard straight chair, the Play Scripts book (all 88 pages are there with no pencil/pen marks) and the Assembly Instructions book (all 16 pages are there with no pencil/pen marks). The following wear and tear and damage should be noted. Please examine all photos!The Cottage Interior backdrop has a small area on the left side where the printing has torn off. There is a light crease in one King Arthur’s Adventure ticket. The legs of the table are bent and 1 is taped. The straight chair has a torn rail between the legs.The bed has a 1.25” tear in the cardboard at the bottom. The throne has a .75” separation at one corner. One of the sides of the theater is torn from the corner of the stage door and up. On the outside, this side is missing some small spots of the printing at the bottom. On the outside of the other side there is a small square of printing missing on a tab at the top and the printed paper of that tab inside the theater is raised up from the cardboard. On the outside of this side are some small spots that are missing the printing at the bottom and a few up the side. The Assembly Instructions book is dog-eared on the first 2 pages. The Play Scripts book has a 2.5” tear on the lower front cover. The back cover is dog-eared, has some small tears on the side, and has a crease lengthwise in the center. The spine has a tear of about 1.25” at the bottom. Pages 1 to 27 and pages 60 to the end have a small, light mark at the bottom of each page where it has been wet. On the front of the theater, the original plastic latching piece to keep it together when it is closed up has broken off and a piece of clear tape has been used to hold it together. Also on this side at the bottom, the printed paper is raised up from the cardboard in a few places and one spot has clear tape on it. On the back side of the theater, there are several spots of printing worn off and a few spots at the bottom where the printed paper is raised up from the cardboard. The very bottom of the theater has some marks where it has been wet. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

Vintage Barbie Fashion Shop 1963
This beautiful play set is the second play set ever made for Barbie, Barbie’s Fashion Shop! A rare play set to find in good condition due to its age and materials (primarily a kind of card stock or cardboard). And difficult to find with all pieces including instructions and little fashion show card invitations. This play set is not mint but in extremely good condition compared to many other versions of this I have seen on here. One thing to note is that only one piece is missing and that is the bottom piece to the display counter/ showcase. It does stay up on its own though. This came to me unmade and I put it together myself. The outer case is in good condition with some light yellowing, a few stains (one big one but very light) and some wear around the edges and fold lines. The wardrobe/ stage section is in great condition with the only issues being some yellowing/ staining on the curtains, a big fold mark on the right side of the wardrobe section and some light yellowing/ staining on both side sections (one is covered when two sections are together). The window cabinet section is also in great condition with issues being some light yellowing/ staining on the bottom cabinet (mostly on left side) and window clear plastic being scratched and stained in a few sections. Also a little piece of the roof is coming undone (could easily be glued down). The mannequin is in great formation with just some wear around a few edges. The corner section is in great condition with little to no issues. The chairs are in great condition with little to no issues. The table is in good condition with the issue being a bit of staining/ yellowing on one side of the table. The stage is in great condition with little no issues. The display counter has little to no issues (other than the missing piece stated earlier. The mirror is in good condition with the issue being some scratches at the right corner and top and some staining. The Fashion Show sign, magazines and fashion show invitations are in great condition with little to no issues. The instructions are in ok condition with lots of yellowing, staining on multiple pages, wear around the edges and many fold marks.I tried to write and show all issues in the photos and description. This piece is sold as is! I know the shipping is expensive but this piece is very big and I want to make sure the piece gets to the buyer quickly and carefully. VINTAGE BARBIE LIVE ACTION PJ ON STAGE DOLL SET W ORIGINAL BOX, RECORD, STAND Up for sale is a vintage Barbie, Live Action PJ on Stage doll in her original box. I do see some darkening on her legs, as shown, but otherwise, she is beautiful, and retains her wrist tag! It looks like the set is complete. The stand is in working order (requires 2 "D" batteries that are not included). As you can see, the box shows a lot of wear and tear. There is some black powder in the box (possibly what ended up on her legs). It looks like the residue after material breaks down, but I do not see anything that could have broken down. No odors.
