This is an amazing and HUGE lot of vintage dolls with clothes and accessories. Includes 7 different dolls: 1960s Ponytail Midge Barbie, Twist and Turn Barbie, two versions of Skipper, Ideal Pepper doll, Penny Brite, and a small doll from the 80s from book creations. Also includes an unbelievable lot of over 30 clothes / clothing pieces, including an amazing slick red raincoat, and 8 complete pairs of vintage shoes/boots! Other accessories include 2 original metal vintage doll stands, carrying case, set of 2 ping pong paddles, telephone, hangers, and a complete vintage booklet to join the New Barbie Club!Pictures of all items are included so please look closely as photos are considered part of the item description. Way too many things to describe individually.All dolls are in very good condition with all their fingers and toes (no dog chews :), no loose or missing limbs. Hair needs work on most. 60s vintage #5 Barbie + 3 dolls, 27 outfits 144 original Mattel items and more
eBay Barbie's unusual marking: This bubblecut Barbie has had one owner (me). The markings say 84 Barbie (R) Patent Pending by Mattel. The body is tan and solid, indicating it is likely a #4 ponytail body with a bubblecut head, something that appeared to happen as styles transitioned. The earrings have bled as is common with original Barbies. There are numerous videos on YouTube offering de-staining solutions. Barbie comes with her original red suit, cork-heeled white sandals.Midge, Skipper and Scooter. The condition of these dolls is very good. Like Barbie. they are wearing their just from the box outfits. Scooter and Midge both come with their original boxes, Skipper has her original stand and comb.About the clothes. This collection has 27 outfits documented in 12 Barbie brochures which, as far as I can tell, include many from 1963 and earlier (Barbie). Later additions include costume items (Guinevere, Little Red Riding Hood) + Skipper outfits Brochures include one for Allan.What makes this collection unique is the number of accessories that go with the clothes--the yo-yo with Skipper's blue sweater/slack set, the nylons with Barbie's skater outfit, the tray and drinks with her Date Night dress, the green shoes with her prom dress, the red mittens and plaid bag with her Winter Holiday outfit. Most of the outfits are in very good condition and come with nearly all the accessories listed in the brochure (there is no alarm clock w/ Barbie's PJs).One dress needs a seam resewn (the Corning Ware dress), Skipper's Flower Girl outfit could use a wash. This lot came out of an estate. There are duplicates of several things including dresses. There are two Barbie & Midge cases, one pink, one blue, the pink one being in rough condition as shown in pictures. The blue one is in better shape but not perfect. There are three dolls, a Skipper doll, a Tressy doll [her hair pull-out mechanism does not work] and a Midge Doll. No Barbie dolls. There are at least 24 pieces of labeled Barbie clothing.
