This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of history with this 1959 vintage Mattel original No.1 Barbie, included with vintage clothing, accessory, and vinyl case lot. The set includes a single-owner No. 1 Blonde Barbie with metal tubes in feet. She is in excellent shape and comes with original vinyl case, accessories, and shoes.The doll is part of a one-owner collection and has been kept in spectacular condition. This Barbie is accompanied in a lot of original clothes and accessories. This lot includes her original signature black and white bathing suit and white sunglasses, sorority outfit and hat (including hat box!), tennis outfit (with racket and tennis balls), and many more! Beautiful Vintage #1 Ponytail Barbie Doll 1959 One Owner OG Stand & Collection!
RARE FIND! Number One Blonde Ponytail Barbie with the Original Early Fashions, Pronged TM Mattel #1 Stand Accessories and Case Little nine year old Alice received the first issue Barbie teenage fashion doll for Christmas in 1959. Mattel’s Barbie had just made her debut at the International Toy show in New York. This is a rare opportunity to own a very special number one Barbie with the original “one owner” childhood collection. It includes many early fashions, complete with the jewelry and accessories This Ponytail Barbie is stunning with her cute upturned nose and signature ponytail. She has dramatic lightning shaped eyebrows and handpainted makeup ; blue side glancing eyes, blue eyeliner, smoky eye shadow, coral red lips, red fingernails and toenails. She’s truly stunning and in remarkable condition for being 64 years old. She is 99% original and retains most of her original factory characteristics This number one blonde ponytail has the extended hairline, which is different from the number threes and later dolls. She is very unusual and rare in that she has two distinctly different hairlines from left to right. Her right side is curved and differs from the straighter hairline on the left. She is wearing her original hairstyle set with the top knot and hard curl at the bottom. The ponytail has been retied with matching colored thread as the band was shot. Her hair is uncut and she has no missing plugs. She has a flocked scalp, silky floss hair in baby chick yellow, full poodle bangs with well defined curls and a cute spit curl on her forehead. Her make up is excellent. as is the the nail and toenail polish. She has all of the correct markings on her bottom; Mattel Barbie TM, 1958 in Roman numerals, pat pending and the number 65. She is marked Japan on the bottom of one foot. Her limbs are nice and tight, but she is able to hold any pose. Her neck moves freely, and there are no issues. She has beautiful and even creamy, pale pinkish ivory body color which is amazing as I e usually sees a in e sort of fading . She has beautiful straight legs with the desired daylight shown only between the thigh and knee , and knee and ankle…A sign of classical beauty with models. She has holes in each of her feet with the original copper tubes present. And she even has her original Mattel TM two prong stand which is very valuable! She has had very minor work done.. a professional restoration to her right pinky and a little touch up to her eyelash ridges. There was also one teeny pinpoint freckle on her left leg just below the knee that has been touched up to match the body color . If you look closely at the photos, you will see how gorgeous this doll is. I have not seen one in original condition that is this outstanding. Barbie has a boyfriend , Ken, who will be listed in a separate listing. Blonde Barbie comes with her original iconic black and white swimsuit, white cat, eyeglasses, black, OT mules with holes. Thankfully her feet do not have any of the staining that is typical with these Barbies. She also has her original gold bangle, hoop earrings! One hole per ear and no green ear! How perfect is this girl?! She is FABULOUS! It was so fun to find Barbie in her original little nest with all the fun boxes and precious accessories that Alice had lovingly kept and preserved. You can tell that this Barbie was truly loved and treasured. Alice did not let other children touch or play with her doll :-)*** This collection would not be complete without a photo of little Alice in December of 1959 around the time that she received this Barbie for Christmas. The photo is included here and a printed copy along with the original provenance of this doll will come with the collection upon request Barbie will come with her original white Ponytail case , dated 1961. A couple minor tears at the seams. And her original TM #1 Ponytail fashion booklet along with the second issue with Barbie and Ken in silhouette in the cover . Vintage 3 ponytail Barbie doll 1959 and Ken doll, includes outfits & accessories
eBay Only (1) owner ~ Me! She’s is in excellent condition. I received my Barbie for my Christmas present in 1959. I always took great care of her, never having changed or combed her beautiful hair. She has been stored away in my wicker basket in my closet, taking her out to once in a while to make sure she is ok. I loved buying her new outfits with several never have been put on her as her straight arms made her difficult to dress. All zippers and snaps work and I am including all the outfits shown. However The nightclub act outfit only has one black glove :). Included are Barbie sewing patterns and her order outfit booklets. Her wedding dress is in mint condition, as are many of her outfits. I’ve owned her for over 60 years but she hasn’t, aged much! * Tiny flaws are as follows: Left temple has slight hair loss. Blue dots on her Left arm are from her brass charm bracelet - kinda cool as it looks like a tiny tattoo. And her left leg from the ankle down is slightly curved inward. My photos reflect these tiny flaws. Her black leotard has a slight run - guess she worked out too hard that day. The only change I made for her was this year when I added really great quality pearls to her original necklace and earrings. Being a jeweler I couldn’t resist! I would also include her Ken Doll and outfits as they still are in Love and wouldn’t like to be separated. Ken and his clothes are in excellent near perfect condition!!** My Barbie will only be sold in the USA. ( Not to Hawaii ). (Condition: Pre-Owned)

The Model 850 doll, with the original box, accessories, and documents from 1959 are all in good condition (see photos). The doll was “gently played with” for only a short period of time in 1959. Her hair was never disturbed and still has the original rubber band. No restoration work has been done. There are holes in the feet with metal cylinders in both legs which fit onto the original black two-pronged stand, stamped Barbie T.M. By Mattel. The doll is also marked Barbie T.M. on the right buttock, and Japan on the right foot bottom, thus verifying authenticity The box is marked Barbie T.M., Teen Age Fashion Model, 1959. 1960 Vintage #3 Blond Ponytail Barbie, Brown Eyeliner, w/Extras, Original Owner
My treasure is your great find with this early Mattel number 3 Barbie!This all original vintage #3 Blond Ponytail Barbie with blue eyes and brown eyeliner has been safely stored for more than 60 years. I am the original owner. As a child, I was very careful with my Barbie and she is in excellent vintage condition. She was gently handled and well cared for. Always in a smoke free home. She comes with the original zebra striped bathing suit, black mules and white sunglasses which are missing one arm. Although Barbie is the real find here... she also comes with eleven outfits and the storage trunk box she has rested in for decades. Most of the clothes are in excellent condition but missing a few accessories as you can see in the photos. There are also some rare items like a blue bubble dress and Barbie's tiny vinyl record, titled, "No Thank You."Her face paint, lipstick, delicate cheek blush, nail polish, and toenail polish are all 100% original with no touch ups, rubs, or missing paint! Her soft shiny hair is beautiful with poodle bangs and the original top knot. The original hair band on her pony tail broke while I was photographing her so I replaced it. She has all of her original hair with no missing plugs or cut pieces.She has JAPAN lengthwise on the bottom of her right foot. And an "O" is slightly visible on her other foot where I wrote my initial. She has some discoloration on one foot from the shoe.Her solid body is clean. She has all her fingers and toes. Her neck and torso have faded slightly to a lighter ivory color. The Mattel marking is clear on her tush but she has some discoloration on her right cheek. (See photo)Her left leg doesn't move and I didn't want to force it. But her right leg, arms and head move as they should with tight joints. She has a tiny pin point speck of green behind each earing which is barely visible. Vintage Barbie Ken Marx Braniff Fashion Fair Condition Not Complete READ! I grade things as follows: TLC, Fair, Good, Great, Excellent, Minty, NRFB. I tend to grade things lower than they really are as to not to try to misrepresent anything. I consider all these fashions "fair," but they are all Hard To Find. Especially the pilot Fashion with Hat. Ken wearing Pilot Fashion - the Ken doll is in Great condition. The pilot uniform includes a double-breasted coat with eight buttons on front with "BI" initials on the front and 3 buttons on each sleeve. There is a "Made in Hong Kong" tag inside. Two snaps on the inside. The gold braiding in the sleeves is slightly frayed. It does have silver wings on the left breast. The pants are in good condition with two snaps present. The shirt is yellowed with age and has a slight pink stain on the left side, hardly legible. Two snaps present on the shirt. The black socks are nylon, so I'm not sure they are correct. The black shoes day "Marx" on the bottom, so they are correct. The hat is the correct hat with "BI" initials on the front. The black necktie is a well-tied ribbon, so I don't think it is original. This is a Very Hard To Find fashion with the correct shoes and hat. I will include a vintage Ken underarm wire stand. See photos. Free shipping. This comes from a smoke-free, pet-friendly home. This is a Used Pre-owned Vintage Lot of Original 1960s Barbie dolls, TM black label clothing sets, double doll cases and other related Barbie items. Many of these early Barbie items are valuable and very collectible. Included are 6 early Barbie, Ken & Allan dolls, 25 Barbie ensembles and 13 Ken outfits. 1960 Vintage Early #3 Blond Ponytail Barbie, Brn eyeliner, w/outfits, OrigOwner
This early Mattel number 3 Barbie is all original with no touchups!I am the original owner. She was my first Barbie. She is not perfect but still a wonderful example of this beautiful iconic doll. She was gently handled and stored for more than 60 years in a smokefree home. She comes with the original zebra striped bathing suit, black mules and white sunglasses.I have included 7 outfits with accessories and the storage trunk box in which she has been stored. Most of the clothes are in excellent vintage condition but missing a few accessories as you can see in the photos. There are also two original Mattel Barbie dress patterns packages from 1961. The packages are opened but the patterns were never used. Her face is still gorgeous. The paint, luscious red lipstick, blue eyes and delicate brown eye shadow are all 100% original with no touch ups, rubs, or missing paint! The red polish on her fingers and toes shows a little rub off. (See photos.)She has all of her original hair with no missing plugs or cut pieces. She has nice poodle bangs and the original top knot. The original hair band on her ponytail was in fragments when I took her out of the storage case so I replaced it. She has JAPAN on the bottom of her foot in a rectangle. I was told by someone more knowledgeable than I, that indicates an early version of #3. Her overall skin is quite even. The Mattel marking is clear on her tush but she has some discoloration where her legs have been for so many years. She has all her fingers and toes. She has a few almost imperceptible scratches on her legs that don't show in photos. Her head, arms and legs all move well and the joints are tight. She has a some tiny metallic looking specks on her chest and dark ones on her hip and right temple. Her right ear is slightly marred. There is no green visible behind her earrings. (See photos)Barbie's clothing outfits are all original from about 1960 and are in excellent vintage condition with working zippers. They include the Winter Holiday complete with accessories and the leather-like belt, wedge shoes and plaid travel bag; the Wedding Day set with white satin gown and nylon chiffon over skirt and ruffles, the blue garter belt, pearl tiara veil, shoes and gloves; Friday Night Date with tray, drinks and a straw; Barbie Q Outfit with apron, chef's hat and some utensils; Suburban Shopper, Floral Petticoat and Fashion Undergarments with brush and mirror. VHTF Vintage Barbie KEN BRANIFF INTERNATIONAL PILOT OUTFIT/UNIFORM Montgomery Ward Exclusive. This is the complete set with the original Blonde Ken Doll and outfit sold in 1967 at Montgomery Ward item No. 48-10497. This is a very rare outfit manufactured by the MARX Toys based on the original design by Emilio Pucci that was sold alongside the four Barbie air stewardess outfits. The Ken doll is the original Ken doll sold with the outfit and has blonde hair. The MARX Braniff Pilot outfit is in AMAZING COLLECTOR CONDITION all original and complete.There are eight gold buttons on the jacket that have the "BI" logo molded into them. The jacket has three additional gold buttons on the cuffs along with braided gold trim at each cuff and pilot wing pin. Jacket has two working snaps, bottom is difficult to snap. The black trousers have the two original working snaps The black tie had an elastic that had disintegrated and I replaced it with a clear new elastic. The white shirt is yellowing and has minor stains and has a single snap like the Ken shirts of the 60s. The black cap is a hard plastic with the BI logo and also has the MARX Toys logo on the inside of the cap. The black dress shoes are a hard plastic with the MARX Toys MADE IN HONG KONG markings on the bottom of each shoe. The black socks are knit and have no flaws. Condition Description:Jacket & Pants - EXCELLENT! all buttons are gold not tarnished the gold braided trim at the cuffs is all intact and no tears, holes stains. Added the pilot pin - not sure if its the same as the original. Shirt - has some yellowing and staining no additional flaws.Hat / Shoes - Hat - missing gold paint, Shoes no flawsSocks - Excellent no flaws.Tie - The black tie is in good condition small fraying along the edges. No bite marks on feet but possibly on hands, (not terrible, but some blemishes there.) - "Ken in Mexico" outfit looks complete, pants have little intact stirrups, has original black cowboy boots and paper insert. (There is also an insert for Barbie in Mexico but no doll or clothes found.) - Original Ken (1960) Bottom stamped Hawthorn CA USA. Painted on blonde hair shows some wear around the crown of the head. Face paint is original and looks great. No chew marks. Some discoloration on shoulders. Joints are loose, do not bend. - 1960s Brunette Bubblecut Barbie. Red lips and a sideways glance. All original paint on face, fingers and toes (some nails missing paint due to age.) No chew marks. Bottom of right foot stamped "Japan." There are two small cuts on the back of her right arm/hand. Her hair is full and thick with no flat spots. Joints are tight, no loose movements. - 1958 American Girl Doll, Titian (red) hair, sideways glance. Sadly, lots of green on the face of this one. Green has also gotten into the hair. Nice original paint on the fingers, none on the toes. No chew marks. Bendable knee joints, both function excellently. Holes in the bottom of the feet. Joints are tight, no loose movements. - 1960s Blonde Francie Doll. Pink Lips, blushing cheeks, light brown eyes, and beautifully full eyelashes! All original paint. No paint on fingers or toes.
