Rare Barbie #2 Brunette Ponytail Display Doll Silhouette Box Plantation Belle
eBay This is the rare Barbie #2 brunette ponytail display doll silhouette box plantation belle. This item is sold in used condition. In my opinion, it is in very good to excellent condition for its age. The item has wear / dirt on them, see pics. The bottom box has split on side and bottom inside/outside edge split. Both have tape on it. The top box lid has 3 corner / edge splits with tape on it. The doll front waist and back, arms have discolor from wearing dress. The left arm has small plastic pc sticking up near elbow. Rough plastic feeling on doll arm in that area, see pics. The arms and legs move up and down fine, but you must take it slow on the legs. They have not been used for long time, and are very stiff to move. The left leg is a harder to move, than the right. The doll right ear has something sticky? on ear, behind it, on hair, see pic. The left ear hole is ripped a little, see pic. The toes/ foot area have a little discolor on front and back, see pics. The dress is tagged, barbie r. The stand is marked tm, and on back marked Japan and Mattel International r, see pic. The necklace is broken. The earring is missing color on round part, see last pic. The white skirt is dirty around waist section. The barbie doll is marked tm. The tm is worn, have to see it on angle closeup. The store display box label says #866 plantation belle. Then under it #966, see pics. Some pics with flash made items brighter, but showed more detail. The doll is not bright white that some pics show. Pic #1 is a close match in color. Please use the pictures to judge the condition and bid on this item yourself.The doll was a store display doll in a large Allentown Pa department store. I got the doll over 30 years ago from original owner. This low production large display silhouette box outfit will make any collection better with this rare barbie set . The item will be shipped priority mail registered mail. It will probably take a couple extra days due to the extra security while traveling to you. Mattel 1963-64 Barbie And Ken Doll Little Theatre Fold Out Cardboard Ser & ACC's
Fresh to market from a central Illinois State comes this awesome, little played with, survivor, Barbie and Ken Little theater cardboard fold-out playset with lots of accessories, some still unpunched, and with the entire curtain set up still sealed in its original bag. I am kind of a novice with barbies, but I was asked to sell this for a friend whose mother died recently, and this was the prize of her collection. Please review photos, I am happy to include more, but I used as many photos as eBay would allow. Most of the items are unpunched, including the couch, some equipment pieces, and though I am sure there are parts missing, I have tried to capture everything that is here, including double-sided backdrops and stage displays. A long strip of tickets see photos. Please note there is a slight separation of the paper on the back that was originally glued but is evidently come apart a bit, I will not mess with it. I did not fold the set completely out for fear of hurting the cardboard, and though here and there there is a bend or slight crease, I do not see any major use or indication of real damage. The colors are quite uniform, I do not see any staining or degradation of the paper or contents. Please review photos. Even the instructions and set up guide by Mattel chicago, illinois, dated 1964, is intact. Exactly as It would have been purchased in 1966.. Listed on Fashion Doll Guide as being Very Hard to Find. Never mind in 'time capsule' condition.<br />One of the most prolific collectors of vintage Barbies.
