Vintage #3 Ponytail Barbie Doll 1959 One Owner Stand Accessories Box 850
eBay Stunning Original 1959 Blonde #3 Ponytail Barbie with Original Swimsuit, Sunglasses Stand Booklet and Case Fresh from a one owner estate comes this beautiful original blonde ponytail Barbie from 1959. Stock model number 850.. the original teenage fashion, model doll! She is the third issue Mattel Barbie and is in wonderful untouched original condition with no touchups. She has her original hard curl on her ponytail, which has been retied with a matching colored thread. She has that beautiful, baby chick, soft blonde floss hair with a flocked scalp. No missing plugs. And a beautiful full array of curly poodle bangs with a Darling spit curl coming down onto her forehead. She has a beautiful face with side, glancing blue eyes and blue eyeliner. This is one of the more rare versions of Ponytail Barbie as the majority of the #3’s had brown eyeliner . In the Barbie Bazaar magazine, there is a reference to some rare transitional number three Barbies, and this is one of those rare Barbies. For the most part she has even pinkish Body color, some very light fading from her waist to her upper torso no doubt from wearing her swimsuit for many years. The third issue dolls were prone to fading almost completely to white so it is nice that this girl has retained a lot of her original color. She is simply stunning . She retains quite a lot of her fingernail polish. Her right pinky has a darkened tip but no damage. Wonderful original make up with some fading to the lips and a little area at the very end of her left eyebrow .This girl is original with NO TOUCH UPS! And she has the heady smell of crayons ;0). No chew marks, holes or other problems to note. One whole per ear. She is on a solid TM body and has clear markings on her bottom. Number 26 on her left bottom cheek, and Barbie TM Patent Pending, 1958 in Roman numerals by Mattel Japan, Marked Japan on bottom of foot. She comes with an original stock 850 box which is in fantastic condition with very vibrant graphics. The Gay Parisienne version. It is one of the best boxes I have ever seen with virtually no fading, it almost looks new. Amazing! . There is one indented end and the date 1959 has been circled but otherwise the boxes fantastic. See pics Stock number 850, 1959 blonde . The graphics are wonderful as it shows all of Barbies early outfits. There is one tiny missing spot to the black coat on Easter Parade. Miss Barbie has her original iconic black and white striped zebra bathing suit, black open toe mule heels (marked Japan on left one) , white cat eye sunglasses with blue lenses, ponytail booklet and a Stand. If you have been looking for a very special early Barbie, this girl will fit the bill. She is an important part of American toy and doll History . Rare Sears Elusive Barbies Mink Coat! Only One Yr 1964-65
This rarity was only made for a year. That's why they are so hard to find. The Mink is tagged and the fur is fluffy and super nice! The inside of coat has original lining and is nice. No fur missing or any damage. It comes from our smoke free home. The last photo was taken out of doll fashion magazine. I don't have my doll anymore. So borrowing the photo. I know this is a lot of money , I have had this Jacket for years when I collected Barbie! I looked for over a year to find this for my special Barbie and had to pay this much for it. Vintage #3 Blonde Ponytail Barbie w/Original Box & Zebra Swimsuit
NOTE: Signature will be required upon delivery Stunning Blonde Mattel #3 Ponytail Barbie with Original Box This beautiful Mattel #3 Ponytail Barbie comes with her original box and is a true collector's item. According to the previous owner, her makeup is original, and her hoop earrings are either original or vintage. While I cannot personally verify this, as I haven't owned her over the years, I can confirm that her lashes show slight wear, but her lips and brown eyeliner remain exquisite. Her glossy hair may have been reset, and her bangs are absolutely one of a kind—both cute and sophisticated! Condition Notes: From certain angles, it may appear she has nipples, but this is difficult to for me to confirm. Please review the photos and assess for yourself. There are no green ear issues, split neck, nose chips, or loose arms. Her rear stamp is TM and is very clear - which is quite rare for early dolls (see photo for a close-up of the stamp). Important Notes: I have removed her hoop earrings to protect her ears; they will be shipped in their own display box (see photo). She is currently wearing ear-safe reproduction pearl earrings. To protect her hairstyle during shipping, her head will be covered with a Dixie cup. The exterior box will also have "fragile" stickers to help ensure careful handling. Barbie will be shipped in her zebra swimsuit, padded inside the original box. Please note that the lid ends are missing, and the corners are fragile - one corner of the lid and one corner of the lower box are split, while the lower box is slightly warped. Many hours and Kleenex were used to create gossamer outfits for her to dance in.I grew up to be an artist and bought another one of this ancient girl on EBAY in 2004. I made a Calendar for 2005 starring her as the visual hook for the content of "Barbies Dreamhouse and the Pink Poison Problem".
