Beautiful Vintage #1 Ponytail Barbie Doll 1959 One Owner OG Stand & Collection!
RARE FIND! Number One Blonde Ponytail Barbie with the Original Early Fashions, Pronged TM Mattel #1 Stand Accessories and Case Little nine year old Alice received the first issue Barbie teenage fashion doll for Christmas in 1959. Mattel’s Barbie had just made her debut at the International Toy show in New York. This is a rare opportunity to own a very special number one Barbie with the original “one owner” childhood collection. It includes many early fashions, complete with the jewelry and accessories This Ponytail Barbie is stunning with her cute upturned nose and signature ponytail. She has dramatic lightning shaped eyebrows and handpainted makeup ; blue side glancing eyes, blue eyeliner, smoky eye shadow, coral red lips, red fingernails and toenails. She’s truly stunning and in remarkable condition for being 64 years old. She is 99% original and retains most of her original factory characteristics This number one blonde ponytail has the extended hairline, which is different from the number threes and later dolls. She is very unusual and rare in that she has two distinctly different hairlines from left to right. Her right side is curved and differs from the straighter hairline on the left. She is wearing her original hairstyle set with the top knot and hard curl at the bottom. The ponytail has been retied with matching colored thread as the band was shot. Her hair is uncut and she has no missing plugs. She has a flocked scalp, silky floss hair in baby chick yellow, full poodle bangs with well defined curls and a cute spit curl on her forehead. Her make up is excellent. as is the the nail and toenail polish. She has all of the correct markings on her bottom; Mattel Barbie TM, 1958 in Roman numerals, pat pending and the number 65. She is marked Japan on the bottom of one foot. Her limbs are nice and tight, but she is able to hold any pose. Her neck moves freely, and there are no issues. She has beautiful and even creamy, pale pinkish ivory body color which is amazing as I e usually sees a in e sort of fading . She has beautiful straight legs with the desired daylight shown only between the thigh and knee , and knee and ankle…A sign of classical beauty with models. She has holes in each of her feet with the original copper tubes present. And she even has her original Mattel TM two prong stand which is very valuable! She has had very minor work done.. a professional restoration to her right pinky and a little touch up to her eyelash ridges. There was also one teeny pinpoint freckle on her left leg just below the knee that has been touched up to match the body color . If you look closely at the photos, you will see how gorgeous this doll is. I have not seen one in original condition that is this outstanding. Barbie has a boyfriend , Ken, who will be listed in a separate listing. Blonde Barbie comes with her original iconic black and white swimsuit, white cat, eyeglasses, black, OT mules with holes. Thankfully her feet do not have any of the staining that is typical with these Barbies. She also has her original gold bangle, hoop earrings! One hole per ear and no green ear! How perfect is this girl?! She is FABULOUS! It was so fun to find Barbie in her original little nest with all the fun boxes and precious accessories that Alice had lovingly kept and preserved. You can tell that this Barbie was truly loved and treasured. Alice did not let other children touch or play with her doll :-)*** This collection would not be complete without a photo of little Alice in December of 1959 around the time that she received this Barbie for Christmas. The photo is included here and a printed copy along with the original provenance of this doll will come with the collection upon request Barbie will come with her original white Ponytail case , dated 1961. Beautiful Vint #1 Bru. Braid Barbie Doll 1959 One Owner repro Stand & Clothing
I am downsizing my personal dolls. This is my original Barbie doll. She is in wonderful condition as I was taught to "play nice" with my toys and keep them in good condition as we were not a wealthy family. The clothing is TM and R tagged as I did have a #3, but we went on a trip to the ocean, Barbie went swimming, and I can only assume that she ended up back in Japan! The rubber bands were rotted, so I replaced them. Other than this, her hair is in its original set. As a child, I did comb her bangs out straight, which I think can be reset. There are no trims or missing plugs, and her braided ponytail is how I got her. I think my mom hunted for a doll that had the same hair style that I always wore. I am including a reproduction #3 stand that was made by some friends of mine who work in the aerospace industry and are the same dimensions as the original #3 stand. All of the clothing is in near mint to mint condition with no flaws that I can find except for some fraying on the ends of the tags. The only other flaw that I can see is that the fish has some dents in it which is typical. There are a few pairs of black #1 shoes, the rest were for my #3's outfits. The case is missing the drawer. There are two versions of rolling pins, and I have no idea of how I got two except maybe from my neighbor who played dolls with me. Barbie has slight rubs on the leading edge of her lashes. Her earrings are original, and there is no green ear. There looks to be soil and she could use a bath. She is marked on her behind BARBIE TM PATS PEND MCMLVIII MATTEL INC.The bottom of her foot is stamped JAPAN inside of a square indented box, a very early #1 marking. The brass tubes are still in her feet, and they are not loose. Her limbs are all tight and she holds a pose. She smells like crayons. The pink phone is not included, I will try to find the outfit that it goes with and sell it later. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

Vintage 1965 Side-Part American Girl Barbie Factory Set Hair MIB w/Accessories
Extraordinary vintage Mattel 1965 Side-Part American Girl Barbie doll, ash blonde, with original swimsuit, turquoise Japan heels, catalog, box and gold wire stand, as well as an unattached original Mattel wrist tag that she would have come with. She has obviously never been played with, as her original factory set hair is untouched, her makeup and polish on fingernails and toes is original and untouched, and her hair string is still intact. She has the very rare green hair band, the mostly American version coarse hair texture and shorter bangs, as well as the frosty cheek and lip color. Her body and head are both in near mint condition; she has 2 small spots of light green on her left upper arm. Her limbs are all tight, and no swinging occurs. She has no earring holes, no green ear, of course, no neck splits, nose nips, chew marks, or damage. Both knees click 3 times but hold a pose at 2 clicks. Her swimsuit is in good condition. Box has a little weather. A couple of corners are torn. Extraordinary treasure that I was lucky enough to get in my possession. Smoke-free home. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

Vintage Barbie Side Part American Girl Doll In Original Swimsuit & OT Heels

Her hair is so nice and thick, no missing hair plugs. She has no neck splits. Her ears do have pokes with one have quite a few, please see close up pics. Her top lip has some rubs and is missing a bit of the paint. Body is ok, her arms still hold a pose. Her legs bend and still hold 2 positions. Her right leg is swingy. She has a small stain on the left upper arm. She has a stain on her left leg by the ankle. She has a few pin pricks at the sides (ankle area) and some nips at the toes. I took a close up picture of any issue I found so please take a look at every picture. The Barbie items I have listed are vintage from the 1960s-1980s. They are all original- no reproductions. Vtg 60's Barbie - American Girl Ponytails Francie Bubblecut Midge +32 Outfits
Offering for your consideration is a wonderful, very large vintage collection of Barbie, Francie and Midge dolls. There is an American Girl, two ponytails (I think a #5 and #6), an early Bubble Cut, Francie and Midge dolls. I'm including 26 vintage Barbie outfits and six vintage Francie doll outfits. A total of 22 of the 32 outfits are complete and there are NO reproductions in this auction!Please note: I purchased this lot in 2013 from two sisters who are lifelong friends of mine. Everything has been played with, however the items have always been very well taken care of and loved. I'll give a complete description below. I know it is very long, but I think when you buy an auction, the more you know the better it is, and I want you to be really happy with your purchase! So grab your favorite beverage and enjoy the pictures and description. Thank you.Doll DescriptionsSummary - All of the dolls have no green ear! The American Girl, Francie and Midge don't even have earring holes. All dolls have blonde hair in various shades. There are NO neck splits, missing fingers or toes, and NO nose nips or damage to eyelash ridges. They are very clean, no musty or smoking odors. Each doll will have her correct swimsuit and heels when she arrives.American Girl - very nice condition. Great hair and makeup is still good, lip color is peachy. Body markings are correct. Knees click three times and and hold three times. Nail polish is very good, there is some missing. Does not look like she ever had toe polish. Right leg has a very small space between leg and body. Left leg has two tiny indents on the calf. Please see picture, it is the one with Francie's mark on her thigh.First Ponytail - Original topknot, I can barely see rubber band, it has almost disappeared. She has pretty hair, it is not braided, she does have some flyaways. Lower rubber band missing. I think she is a #5, has Barbie only body. Winning bidder may prefer to have this dolls face paint restored as it is faded or gone completely and paint is missing on one eye. She is the oldest doll in collection also. Nail polish is still good, toe polish is missing on a few of her toes. Right arm is swingy when down, will hold a pose however. Right ankle turns in a tiny bit.Second Ponytail - Original topknot, rubber band on top knot is mostly gone. Great looking bangs, ponytail is braided, some flyaways. No lower rubber band, I added the ribbon. Not sure if braid is factory. I'm pretty sure she is a #6, has Midge - Barbie body. Face paint is pretty, faded on lips and eyebrows. Super tiny dot on chin, this is hard to see. Nail polish is good, I see no toe polish. Right leg is a tad shorter. Right foot has super tiny mark on side of little toe. Nice body.Francie - Excellent doll. Has eyelashes, very pretty face, straight waist. Hair is pretty, long, with a nice curl. Knees click times three, hold times two. Correct markings on bottom. I don't think she ever had nail or toe polish. Tiny blue mark on side of left thigh (please see picture). I can see the beginning of a faint split on the top of her left foot too.Bubble Cut - Excellent condition, Barbie only body. Very pretty hair, her makeup is super nice, her lips are fab! Slightly greasy face. Nail polish is faint, I see no toe polish. Great body, slight swing to right arm when down.Midge - Excellent condition, has Midge - Barbie body. Pretty face paint, hair is curled, few flyaways. Both her nail and toe polish is very good.OutfitsSummary- I've shown the dolls wearing some of the outfits and tried to show all outfits in the pictures. All the zippers work and are YKK. The snaps are present. One side of the snap is coming off the Plantation Belle slip. Most Barbie R tags are present, some are frayed. Note: There is no tag on the Dancing Doll dress, however I'm sure it is vintage. There are NO seam tears, hems coming out, or major stains. Some of the white material in the clothes is a little cream colored. I'll list the complete outfits first, and any issues I'll point out as best I can on all the outfits. If you have questions, please email. If the outfit has open toe heels, they are marked Japan on the left, no splits on any. The outfits with the cork wedgies have them too. Dancing Doll - no tag on dress. Everything is in wonderful condition!6. Dinner at Eight - Beautiful condition. Both cork sandals have splits on their bottom, but the splits are hard to see.7. Friday Night Date - Very pretty classic Barbie outfit, HTF straws are included8. Garden Party - still very pretty.9. Lunchtime - there were no shoes with this outfit. HTF Tea kettle works, so does toaster. Toast is here too! Pans and toaster have a few light marks/rubs. The belt has a small indent hear the end, but no hole.10. Movie Date - great condition.11. Open Road - This was a favorite outfit of the sisters. No toggles on coat. Red chiffon on scarf has several small holes and a very tiny stain on brim. HTF wedgies are in great shape, however there is glue on one of the cork sandals where the strap was repaired. (Please see pictures)12. Peachy Fleecy - In great condition. There is hardly any of the feather left on the hat.13. Plantation Belle - this was a favorite outfit too. There is no jewelry. Slip has frayed ribbon and snap hanging by a thread. Hat has one band that is bent.14. Picnic Set - HTF fish is not cracked, has a couple of minor rubs on each side. Fishing pole has line and sinker. Will display well! The hat is so fun! Cork wedgies are awesome. Favorite outfit!15. Resort Set - Great condition, has the original HTF bracelet. Cork wedgies are very nice.16. Senior Prom - The gown is in Excellent condition. No pearls on shoes. Please see picture17. Sheath with Gold Buttons, RUST color with mini white dots. Super condition.18. Spectator Sport - has VHTF belt! Has gold dimpled purse and I'm including the VHTF striped knit purse and Mustard Color Open Toe heels.19. Suburban Shopper - has original HTF drop pearl necklace. One of the fruits in the purse is split, just a little on top, not the entire piece of fruit. Hat bands are a bit bent. Super classic vintage Barbie outfit.20. Theatre Date - no hat version21. Winter Holiday - jacket is still soft and flexible. Has super HTF belt. Cork wedgies are awesome!Incomplete Barbie Outfits1. Crisp 'n Cool - no gloves2. Vintage American Girl Blonde Sidepart Barbie Doll – Beauty!
This is a gorgeous Sidepart Barbie! Although she is not perfect. She has blonde hair and I don’t see any plugs missing. One side of her hair looks layered but I don't know if it is supposed to be that way. She has a hairband but I don’t know if it is original. You can still see her original part.Her face is a bit darker than the rest of her body. Her eye makeup is beautiful and her lips have turned into a luscious honey-kissed color although there may be more color on one side than the other but not sure as it is hard to see.There is a very tiny bump or flaw on her chin. I do not know what it is. Her knees click twice and hold the pose. Her left thigh is pretty loose and needs to be handled gently. Her body is overall excellent. Longer page-boy rare side-part style, ash blond hair color with bendable legs and painted facial features with blue eyes and eyeliner. She is wearing the original one piece swimsuit of solid turquoise blue bottom, multi-striped top, no shoes. Head/Face - No green ears. All hair still present. Head turns freely. No blemishes or marks. Eyeliner and lips missing small amount of color. Hands/Arms - swing freely and hold a pose. Most nail polish is intact. All fingers present with no chew marks. Torso - no marks or blemishes. Legs/Feet - legs have some marks, feet have minimal bite marks. Knees work, each having 3 clicks. Hips are somewhat loose. Left leg will hold pose. A loved and played with lot that was put away years ago...Many hard to find black label clothing items, two boxed Skipper #950 (Brunette & Redhead) and huge amount of accessories Please check photos for condition, some in great shape, some needs a little TLC. Expect usual signs of play and the slight smell of being stored for years..The last photo shows some of the items I noticed needed TLC or I was unsure if Barbie Ask questions and happy bidding!! This lot includes 5 vintage 1960s Ken dolls, Allan dolls and Ricky, complete with original black tag clothes and accessories. The dolls are 12 inches in length except for the 1 Ricky (Boxed) and include 2 Allan dolls ( One Box) , 1 blonde molded hair Ken ( One Box), 1 brunette molded hair Ken, as well as many genuine vintage Mattel black tag outfits with original Japan shoes, Clothes range in condition from good/excellent to slightly dirty. All dolls are free of neck splits and missing digits. There are the following condition issues: brunette molded hair Ken has slight scrap on hair and shown in photo. Blonde molded hair Ken is in good shape. There is one swingy leg, they all hold a pose and are in generally good display shape. Two nice original Ken cases are included, see photos for condition. The set includes original pieces, such as shoes, socks/tights, hats, sandals, and other doll accessories as seen in photos. The dolls are in their original condition and are not personalized. They are part of the Ken and Allan series by Mattel, and were manufactured in Japan in 196O’s. They are in good condition, no neck splits, missing digits or nose nips. Vintage Mattel #3 Blonde Ponytail Barbie w/Original Box, Bathing Suit, Glasses
Vintage #3 Blonde Ponytail Barbie Doll w/Original Swimsuit and Box.I am not the original owner and do not have the full history or know if she has been retouched. She's a beautiful doll in really nice condition overall. I took pictures of her in natural light, so you can get a good idea of her true color. I posted the maximum number of pictures. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions or let me know if you need any more pictures. I am happy to provide them. I want you to be happy with your purchase.She is the solid body that smells like crayons. Barbie markings, including the TM marking on her butt are raised. Bottom of one foot is stamped, Japan. No green ear, nose nips, or neck splits. Eyeliner is considered brown, but faded to a pinky color. Most of her nail polish and toe polish are present. All joints are nice and can hold a pose. Head moves easily. Lips are red. All the lip color looks present. She has red dots in her nostrils. She has a small dent on the inside of her right foot (shown in close-up picture, indicated by arrow). She is in played-with condition, so there is evidence of that, including tiny spots and dings. Please use the zoom feature to see close-up.Her bangs and hair are soft. Ponytail is flat in the back, from laying down in her box. Hair could use restyling. No elastic bands in her ponytail. She is wearing her original black and white swimsuit, black open toe heels, sunglasses and comes with her original booklet and a vintage Barbie black metal stand (not her original pedestal stand). Her bathing suit is quite clean, with no rips or holes noted. It stays up well. Bottom of one heel reads, Japan. No splits noted. Sunglasses are nice. Black metal stand is nice and straight. The booklet looks like all the pages are present. Box is complete, but has wear as shown. Wear includes soiling, old tape, pin holes, splits on both side panels. I was going to tape them, but will leave that up to the discretion of the buyer. Vintage Barbie #3 Brunette Ponytail 1960
This is a #3 brunette ponytail Barbie doll in excellent condition. Her paint is original and none missing. Her hair is original and very long as you can see. Top knot is original but the bottom band was most likely replaced but it looks very old so could be original? No green ears. All joints hold a pose. Included is a box in good condition. This one is older as they placed a sticker on the box end indicating the hair color. The label is missing. Her original stand which is shiny but with a small chip at the back. Originals include swimsuit, heels, hoop earrings and a #3 booklet. I’m also including a summer dress with matching bag by Marinos. This is the one I had her displayed in.
