Vintage Barbie Ponytail #3 (Blonde/ Blue Eyeliner) + Accessories
This doll and accessories range from good to ok condition. They are sold as is.It includes Vintage Barbie Ponytail #3 •blond ponytail with blue eyeliner and red lips •she has the “TM” marking on her butt•her face is beautiful but is a little dirty (could use a scrub) and there is some paint loss in both eyebrows (tail of right eyebrow and and front of left) and lips (left corner and middle upper line) •she has no green ear on either ears •her hair is all original but was taken out of the ponytail long ago, I don’t believe it has been cut but I can’t say for sure; bangs are very curly and fluffy •her torso is in good shape with some peach color still on the chest, back and stomach, has few small scuffs •her arms are in good condition with both retaining some color and a majority of the nail paint, both have a few scuff marks and right is slightly loose when by her side •legs are in good condition with a bit some dirt (especially on her calves), indents and discoloration; her legs have retained a lot of color and all the nail paint is there •comes in her zebra swimsuit which is yellowed and stained and fuzzy •she has the typical #3 scent like wax/ crayons -Barbie outfit #876 “Sweater Girl” incomplete as it is missing the bowl of yarn with the needles •comes with shell, sweater, skirt, scissors, “How to Knit” book and mules •shell is in ok condition with some fuzz come off of it and 3 small holes (2 in the front and 1 in the back); all buttons on back work •sweater is “TM” and in good condition with issues being some fuzz coming off of it and the beads having lost some of their luster •skirt is in good condition with little to no issues, snap button works •Scissors are in good condition with the metal having slightly oxidized, and they open slightly •also includes small knockoff wooden bowl that looks similar to the one that comes with this outfit (without yarn)•”How to Knit” book is in ok condition with lots of wear around the edges, big crease and some paper loss on the back -Barbie TM pedestal stand •TM stand with hole in back came with #3s•base is in good condition with some minor scuffing, scratches and stains •bad has the indent for the hole of a #2 pedestal stand •stand piece is in good condition with some minor scratches and some paint loss at the be seen in box or if used on base-Vintage Barbie neck liner •neck liner came with #1s-#5/ first issue bubblecuts •has yellowed immensely and has some ware on the closer bent part (starting to crack), has tear in the back of neck (very typical for these) and one hole in back has rip -Vintage Barbie booklet and accessories ”Barbie R” booklet came with #3/4s•in good condition with issues being the ware on the edges, especially on the bottom right corner and some yellowing •vintage sunglasses; slightly yellowed, blue stain on glasses frame, arms still open •black mules; in good condition with little to no issues, has “Japan” on the bottom booklet and accessories are in replaced cello-Vintage/ Repro Barbie jewelry vintage pearl earrings in bad condition with both having lost all of the pearl sheen•vintage pearl necklace in ok condition with some pea sheen lost and yellowed, but still works •vintage pearl pins (not Barbie) range from good to ok condition with some having lost pearl sheen (comes with 12 and pearls are about twice the size of normal Barbie pearl earrings) Vintage Barbie accessories •pair of short white gloves with little to no issues •knockoff white underwear, in ok condition with lots of yellowing on the legs •4 red Barbie hangers, all in good condition with little to no issues I tried to write and show all issues in the photos and description. This is a 1958 dated blonde ponytail Barbie. I am not sure what number this is as I am far from an expert. It comes with an original outfit and black heels. This came from an estate and is being listed as she was found. There is some whiting on the face and body which I'm not sure if it's powder or not. The pubic area has some stains from the underwear. There may be some doll clothing and/or doll that is not specific to Barbie in this collection. These have been in storage for over 20 years and I could not get everything detailed to specific outfits. Here is a general idea of what is in this: 17 dolls(1960 1986) Ponytail Barbie has been marked with blue marker on her face. Much has been removed but still alot remains. Japan stamped on the bottom of her right foot. She has “Midge 1962 Barbie 1958 by Mattel patented” on her bottom. Research says she is a #7 version of Ponytail Barbie. She has a number and letters stamped on her inside arms. Also included is 4 doll cases(1960 1973) 12 coats/shawls, 2 shorts, 17 hats/headwear, 4 fur wraps, 11 purses/ bags, barbie head for wigs, 6 hairpieces wigs 36 clothes hangers, 14 pair of stockings socks 13 unmatched stockings socks 3 stocking holder(forms), 28 pair matching shoes, 34 unmatched shoes, 79 accessories including combs, brushes, etc, 1 closet-but I do not know if it is complete, 21 towels blankets 2 dollhouse rugs, 7 pillows, 16 pants, 13 gowns, 13 underwear, 2 wedding veils, 10 tutu skirts/onesies, 18 swimsuits, 2 aprons, 13 one piece pantsuits, 44 shirts, 15(2 pc) matching outfits, 21 skirts, 37 dresses. For shipping, I have placed dolls inside the doll cases and all clothing is separated into ziploc bags for protection based on general categories. I can tell you there is one doll that has a broken leg at the hip area, but I decided to add her anyway as the right person may be able to repair her. Some stains & marks on the vinyl and rust on the clasp. Wear on the inside. Sectins that hold accessories boxes are loose.Clothes: "Belle" dress- a bit faded. "Fancy Free" dress in nice condition. "Lunch on the Terrace" Dress, hat & shoes. Good condition. Hem on the dress looks like it might have been stitched by hand. Red swimsuit and white underwear (loose elastic).Open Toe shoes- orange and mustard colors. Good condition Dolls: Please refer to all photos for details of each doll (face paint, hair, discoloration, hair, body, etc). I do not see any neck splits, green ear or chipped noses.I don't know if the bodies are original to the heads. The brunette with the ponytail (doesn't appear to be the original styled ponytail) has soft poodle curly bangs. The body has bend legs and a broken left knee. The toes are missing on the right leg The hands look good and have nail polish. Blue eyes & eyeliner. Eyebrows look like someone tried to repaint. Stamped "C 1958 Mattel, Inc. U.S. Patented"The brunette with the hair down has stiff curly bangs. There is a bald section under the hair but it doesn't have holes so I don't think any was rooted there.
