VINTAGE BRUNETTE BARBIE #3 DOLL in VINTAGE GAY PARISIENNE #964 COMPLETE *RARE* VINTAGE BRUNETTE BARBIE #3 DOLL in VINTAGE GAY PARISIENNE #964 COMPLETE *RARE* Description Vintage Brunette Barbie #3 in Original Gay Parisienne #964 Vintage #3 Brunette Barbie Doll from 1960 wearing one of the hardest to find collectible outfits from 1959 - she is ready for her night out in Paris! The Vintage Barbie Gaye Parisienne #964 ensemble was released in 1959. Vintage Barbie Gay Parisienne combined couture design with elegant accessories to create one of the most successful designs of 1959. The dress is a deep blue rayon taffeta bubble dress and is in minty comdition. Same fabric bows trimmed in white adorn the hem in front and the top of the zipper closing in the back. The hat is a matching blue tulle veiled headband. The white satin lined faux fur stole is in great condition. The small gold velvet clutch has a gold bead closure and is lined in white satin. The white gloves, pearl necklace and gold hoop earrings complete the ensemble. This vintage ensemble is rare and hard to find, as it was only produced in 1959. Barbie is also in Excellent condition - she is the #3 Ponytail Barbie but her face has been painted to resemble a #1/#2 Barbie - she has no loose limbs, no cracks. She has faded to a fairly even ivory color and she smells like crayons. She has all her red finger and toe nail polish. Her hair is still in the original ponytail but her bangs are not good and have been styled to match the Paris outfit she is wearing - she still has a curl at the bottom of the ponytail. She has no green ear but holes for earrings are a bit darker. She has green dot on the back of the neck from the necklace clasp and a few indents around the front of her neck where the necklace has been sitting for so long - see pics. Her makeup is nice and bright! Overall this is a Gorgeous doll and she is ready to be a show stopper in your vintage Barbie display. VINTAGE BARBIE #3 PINK SILHOUETTE BOX #961 EVENING SPLENDOR DISPLAY DOLL *RARE* VINTAGE BARBIE #3 PINK SILHOUETTE BOX #961 EVENING SPLENDOR DISPLAY DOLL *RARE* Description Vintage Blonde Barbie #3 in Original Pink Silhouette Display Box dressed in her store display Evening Splendor Outfit Vintage Original #3 Blonde Barbie Doll from 1960 in her original Pink Silhouette Display box & wearing her best #961 Evening Splendor (Splendour) Complete Outfit. This is the very rare first Pink Silhouette box issued by Mattel! These doll sets were sold to stores to display their Barbie clothes. The Vintage Barbie Evening Splendour ensemble was released in 1959. A masterpiece was definitely created when the Golden Girl #911 sheath dress was issued with a matching coat. Made from the same gold and white brocade as the dress, the coat had three-quarter length sleeves trimmed in simulated fur. The coat was also tailored with a contrasting pale blue satin lining to further accessorize every detail. The outfit was topped off with a headband hat adorned with pearls and trimmed in the same brown fur as the coat and brown open toed heels. She also carried her aqua corduroy purse complete with Hanky and had on her best Pearl stud earrings and graduated pearl necklace to complete the outfit. The dress and coat are in near mint condition and they are the Barbie (R) version. The purse still has it's closure. The hanky is a bit yellowed as it was displayed in her hand all these years. Hat still has all of the pearls and is also in nm condition. Shoes are correctly marked. Barbie is all original - she is the rarer barbie that has the nipples - she has no loose limbs, no cracks. She has faded to a fairly even ivory color and she smells like crayons. She has all her red finger and toe nail polish. Her hair is still in the original ponytail but the lower rubber band has been replaced and the upper one is disintigrating - she has lost the curl at the bottom and hair is a bit flat from being in her box all these years! She has no green ear. Overall this is a gorgeous doll. She comes in her original Pink Silhoutte TM box. It has the Dressed doll sticker on the end. It is in overall excellent condition - it has clear tape at the top corners but otherwise nice and crisp and clean - see pics for overall view. Hi, you are bidding on this vintage stunning #3 Ponytail Barbie brunette and blonde pair of dolls wearing their original swimsuits, JAPAN black open toe shoes, sunglasses and comes with one original booklet that has "Commuter Set" pictured along with original clothes, shoes and accessories shown. Brunette Barbie has a gorgeous face with brown eyeliner, nice face paint and hint of blush still visible. She has no neck splits and no nose nips but has a teensiest faint tinge of green just around left earring hole that is hidden when earrings are in. Her hair is shiny and soft with no cuts and no missing hair plugs. Top band may be original, bottom band was replaced. Hair could use styling. Her original body is in lovely condition with most of her original fingernail and toenail polish. Barbie has a beautiful stance. She's marked, "Barbie T.M. MCMLVIII BY MATTEL, INC." on her bottom and JAPAN is long ways down foot. Her swimsuit displays well and is still stretchy at top. It could use a gentle soak. The JAPAN heels and original sunglasses are in good condition. Blonde Ponytail Barbie has a beautiful face. Her left eyebrow had paint loss so was touched up for display. She has no green ear, no neck splits and no nose nips. Her hair is shiny and soft. There are no missing hair plugs and not sure if it has had the slightest trim or if curls on end of ponytail were just pulled out. Hair will need styling. Her original body has the early pronounced chest/nipples that were later removed due to parent dissatisfaction ;)Body is in nice display condition marked, "Barbie T.M. MCMLVIII BY MATTEL, INC." with most of her original fingernail and toenail polish; JAPAN is written long ways down bottom of right foot. Her original swimsuit is in nice display condition but elastic at top is stretched. Sunglasses and JAPAN shoes are in good display condition. The booklet is nice for display. There was a name written on front that was erased. This booklet has Commuter Set pictured. "Apple Print Sheath #917" dress with original T.M. tag. Dress is in nice display condition. The zipper has some oxidation so is a little "slow" but still works fine and is secure. Also included is the complete Barbie fashion, "Party Date #958". Set includes: dress with gold glitter, gold dimple belt, matching gold dimple clutch purse and clear gold glitter JAPAN marked open toe heels. The dress has aged to more of a champagne color as shown so will need a gentle soak to brighten and remove some light age/storage spotting on bodice. The fabric still feels crisp and still has tons of glitter. The belt and purse are lovely. Shoes have darkened to a champagne color also so match well; they are missing some glitter but still pretty for display. Last is the near complete Barbie fashion, "Sweet Dreams #973" that includes baby doll yellow pajama set with original T.M. tag attached, hair ribbon, apple in original plastic, diary, alarm clock and light blue JAPAN marked open toe heels. The set is in very nice condition with stretchy elastic on bottoms and both bows still attached on bottoms. The ring on hair ribbon was replaced. Accessories are lovely. JAPAN heels are in good condition but the one without pom is not original to set. Shoe boxes, boxes for sunglasses and boxes for other accessories are included as shown along with hangers. BLACK METAL KAISER STANDS ARE INCLUDED. All items are from a pet and smoke free home. She comes with her original black mules, booklet, blue lens sunglasses, and #3 stand. No neck splits,etc. Her face paint is original and looks great. She has brown eyeliner, blue eyes and her lips are full and red and look gorgeous. Her body is a solid body & nearly perfect. I just gently removed her swimming suit, took photos and put it back on. She has no loose limbs, no cracks. She has faded to an bit of an uneven ivory color - she has fading on each limb, torso and face (underneath chin) and she smells strongly like crayons - but, since she had been wearing her shoes all these years she does have a bit of fading to ivory across her feet. She has all her red finger and toe nail polish. She is wearing her original zebra stripe swimming suit. No holes, stains or odors. She comes with her original black mules and her original #3 pedistal stand. She also has her original white cat eye sunglasses with blue lenses and original booklet. No issues I can find. Her hair is stilll in the original set but a bit flat from being in her box all these years! Her original earrings have been removed and are included also - she has a very small dot on each ear but really no green ear. Overall this is a gorgeous doll in Minty not played with condition. She comes with her original black mules (with holes), TM booklet, and blue lens sunglasses. No neck splits. Her face paint is original and looks great. She has brown eyeliner, blue eyes and her lips are full and red and look gorgeous. Her body is a TM solid body & nearly perfect with just a couple age related issues. I just gently removed her swimming suit, took photos and put it back on. She has no loose limbs, no cracks. She has faded to a fairly even ivory color and she smells like crayons - but, since she had been wearing her shoes all these years, the dye in the #1 mules has seeped into her feet and given them a maroon color in the shape of the shoes. I haven't tried to do anything to remove it and I have not tried to clean her. She seems to have a plastic spec on her left breast as well as a few other marks here or there. She has all her red finger and toe nail polish but it is a bit worn from play. She is wearing her original zebra stripe swimming suit. No holes, stains or odors. She comes with her original black mules which are actually #1/2 shoes with the holes in the bottoms. She also has her original white cat eye sunglasses with blue lenses. No issues I can find. Her hair is not perfect - the rubber binders were disintigrating and came out so I added a band to keep her hair in the ponytail. Hair is still shiny but could use a day at the beauty salon! She comes in her original TM box. It has the "Brunette" on the end. It has a few very minor issues- tape on one corner of top box and a split corner on the bottom left of top box - bottom box looks great - minor small tear on one corner. Overall still really good shape for its age. No issues with the TM booklet. She also has a black wire stand - this was with her so will stay with her but it is not the correct stand for her. She had one owner that passed away so all is original and has been stored for a very long time - she also had some original TM outfits with her that I am selling in seperate listings so please check them out. Description Vintage Blonde Barbie #3 all Original w/ Blue Eyeliner (1960) Vintage Original #3 TM Blonde Barbie Doll No. 850 from 1960 in her original zebra stripe swimming suit. She comes with her original black mules and blue lens sunglasses. No neck splits. Her face paint is original and looks great. She has blue eyeliner, blue eyes and her lips are full and red and look gorgeous (although a little off center - I don't believe this is wear I think this is how she came). She has blonde hair that is in a braid - I don't think it is a factory braid or if it is it has been redone - she came to me with a braid so I will leave her that way. Her body is a TM solid body & nearly perfect with just a couple age related issues. I just gently removed her swimming suit, took photos and put it back on. She has no loose limbs, no cracks. She has faded to a fairly even ivory color and she smells like crayons. She has plastic mold marks here or there. She has all her red finger and toe nail polish and it is fantastic. She is wearing her original zebra stripe swimming suit - No holes, stains or odors. She comes with her original black mules and her original white cat eye sunglasses with blue lenses. No issues I can find. She also has a black wire stand - this was with her so will stay with her but it is not the correct stand for her. I can provide more pictures if needed - just let me know. Vintage #3 PONYTAIL BARBIE FLAXEN BLONDE HAIR BLUE EYELINER IN ORIGINAL SWIMSUIT
eBay Hi, you are bidding on this vintage stunning #3 Ponytail Barbie with hard to find flaxen blonde hair and blue eyeliner wearing her original swimsuit and black JAPAN heels. Barbie has a beautiful face! Her eyebrows had a bit of paint loss so were touched up for display; this can be removed with soap and water. She has no neck splits and no nose nips but had a dot of green at both ears as shown so I color washed them for display. This can be removed with soap and water. A pair of safe pearl earrings cover this nicely and will be included. Her hair is gorgeous - very soft with no cuts, no missing hair plugs and lots of curl still on the end of ponytail; just needs styling. Her original body has faded unevenly as shown. She was missing the tip of her right pointer finger so I repaired it the best I could with moldable plastic and a bit of paint; definitely not perfect but hides it enough so it's not glaring. She's marked, "Barbie T.M. MCMLVIII BY MATTEL, INC." on her bottom and JAPAN is long ways down foot. Her swimsuit displays well and is still stretchy at top. It could use a gentle soak. The JAPAN heels are in good condition. Booklet is nice. A shoe box and hanger are included. BLACK METAL KAISER STAND IS INCLUDED. All items are from a pet and smoke free home. A wonderful addition to any vintage Barbie collection Please keep checking back as I am liquidating my Barbie and clone items that have been in storage.
