I tried to note in the list if there was anything wrong with each outfit. The rest are stain free with very little flaws. Nearly all of them don't come with accessories if they were supposed to have any. What you see in the pictures is what you are getting. As for the dolls some of the fingers are missing and some of the heads have tears in the necks. I know one of the heads is Quick Curl Kelley with Steffie face. The brunette heads are from Hair Fair and another one is Growin Pretty Hair Barbie. The hinges on the suitcases are broken and were held together with tape. Vintage Barbie Skipper Skooter Ricky dolls 17 Outfits & Accessories Case
This GREAT Vintage lot from the 1960s offers 3 Skipper Dolls, 2 Skooter Dolls, and a Ricky doll along with 17 original outfits including HTF Accessories, swimsuits, headbands for each Skipper, and brushes for the Skipper and Skooter dolls. HTF OUTFITS include Skipper on Wheels, Country Picnic, School Girl, and Ricky's Let's Explore along with many other nice outfits! There are 4 Original doll boxes, 4 brass stands, a case and fashion booklets too! 14 outfits are COMPLETE and this includes 2 outfits for Ricky. I apologize for my long description, however I want you to know what you are bidding on. Please take the time to read this as I am a collector, not an expert! This is a very large auction with many accessories. Also, PLEASE LOOK at the pictures. I try to see and report all flaws I find. I may miss some, however I try hard not to! The dolls, their outfits and accessory items are in good to excellent/near mint condition. This lot is not for the minty or picky collector, however if you are starting to collect Skipper and her friends, I think you will be VERY SATISFIED!These items have been loved and gently played with! Because of this I consider this auction AS IS, however I will accept returns, so PLEASE see below for details. There are 2 Redhead Skippers, 1 Brunette Skipper, 1 Dark Brown hair Skooter with her ORIGINAL pigtails, and 1 Pale Blonde Skooter and a Ricky doll. There are no haircuts, no green, no missing fingers or toes, and no deep play scratches. The dolls are the straight leg version and are properly marked on their bottoms. Each one has a Japan stamp on the bottom of one foot. The Pale Blonde Skooter does not have her pigtails. I bought her from her original owner who said she kept messing them up when she first got her, so she took them out almost immediately! One of the redhead Skippers has a little bit of her eyebrow missing on one side and her bangs have a little part in the center. The dolls have good color to their vinyl bodies and are clean. I did note a little swinginess to the dolls arms when the arms are by their sides, but once dressed, their arms hold all poses. Ricky has a very light reddish tint on his shoulders and ankles/feet. He was stored in his Little Leaguer outfit. Skipper's Complete OutfitsCountry Picnic - Awesome condition! I'm including the picnic basket from Barbie's Picnic Set outfit. I like to use it when displaying Country Picnic and thought you would too.Skipper on Wheels - includes the HTF red sunglasses and the Skooter is great! NO melt marks noted! There are two very small discolorations on the back of the skirt, one is noticeable . The skateboard has a couple of tiny dings to the yellow color. School Girl - includes the little HTF glasses! One book has a tiny bit of edgewear. Outfit looks so good on Skooter!Dog Show - the dog is a creamy color, fur is a little flat here and there, and the little ears have been trimmed, one more than the other.What's New at the ZooRed SensationBallet Class - stitching at top of leotard is missing in a couple of places, there is a small run on the leotard top in the back also.Can You Play? - the elastic in the panties is stretched.Two Dreamtime outfits - one is nicer than the other! One has no tag and there is residue that looks like tape on the bottom of one phone. Also, the elastic in the waists of both of the PJ bottoms is a bit stretched.Rain or Shine - bill on hat is a little frayed.Platter Party Partial Skipper outfitHearts 'n Flowers - missing granny glasses, purse, and one pencil. One book does have edgewear.ALL Flats for Skipper are marked Japan on the bottom and have no splits. I did note a tiny bit of roughness on the upper edges of a couple. I did not see any markings on the bottom of any other shoes or boots.Ricky's Complete OutfitsLet's Explore! - Missing loop at top of zipper, otherwise Awesome!Lights Out - tiny spot on inside of robe, elastic is tight in pj bottom.Partial Ricky Set - Super condition - no socksLittle Leaguer - hem of shirt has loose threads and the tag is frayed. The little baseball is missing. The tennis shoes have a pink tint from the red socks.Snaps are present on all items that should have them. Except as noted above, all clothing items look clean with no tears. No unpleasant odors.Original Doll Boxes, four included. Two are for each of the Skooter dolls, one for Skipper (marked Redhead) and one for Ricky, All have good graphics! Ricky's box shows the most age related wear. The insides of a couple show marks, three have end flap corners that are torn, price tags on two, handwritten price on one and all have rubbed edges. The lids also show rubs and wear on two. There is also a little "rippling" on the top side of the two Skooter boxes. They are not stained like they got wet so I don't know what caused this. I'm making these boxes sound bad, they are not all that bad, I just want you to know what I see. Please see the pictures.Four original brass stands are included and several fashion booklets. The Skipper Skooter doll case is very nice! There are small tears where the lid opens on the inside, top and bottom. One tear on top of front where the hinge is and a tiny slit (hard to see) and a tear on the bottom. The inside is clean and still has the drawers and one elastic strap to hold the doll. The metal latch has a little pitting. The handle is great! Free Shipping! AMAZING LOT! Two Early Blonde Barbie's, MINT Outfits, Accessories, and Case
This terrific lot includes a Blonde Ponytail Barbie (B4 on left buttocks Barbie (R) PAT. PEND MCMLVII BY MATTEL INC) plus she has nipples which is unusual, and a Blonde Bubblecut Barbie (B2 on her Left buttocks, Right side says: Midge (TM) 1962 BARBIE (R) C1964 MATTEL INC THEN, PATENTED. They are both in well maintained condition. No splits, cracks, green ears...but they do both have a speck of black where the earrings once were. Bubblecut Midge is wearing the Apple print sheath which is in good condition though slightly faded with age, and comes with the black open toe mules. Ponytail Barbie is wearing the COMPLETE Sheath Sensation (which includes the hat, shoes, gloves and dress). It is is almost MINT condition. Additionally included are a plain cotton blouse in pink and the orange skirt separates in MINT condition with a white "leather " clutch, the gray straight skirt from "Sweater Girl" matched up with a pretty flouncy white blouse and a bright orange felt jacket, a white button down shirt with two matching skirts (MINT), a brown "leather three quarter length jacket, a yellow jacket (a little faded and a pink stain on one arm), a red and black plastic "Ish "checked raincoat and white rain boots, a two piece bathing suit with two differnt top choices, and a one piece bathing suit that is the traditional stripe but in light blue and white. Also included is the light blue Barbie case and original booklet (not shown) which are also in well maintained condition. I had to retouch (badly) the left inside of the case because I had an expensive outfit that was going to make it too costly. Large Vintage Barbie Lot Bubble Cut Dolls Clothes Suzy Goose Closet ~ Some TLC
A large lot. I am selling most of my vintage Barbie collection, and these are items that I've had for years. Condition is mixed. The bubble cut dolls are in nice condition. One of the bubble cuts is an early edition 1961 bubble cut with a very tight hairdo (the one wearing the zebra swimsuit). She has very bright face paint, all original. She has the "Barbie R" marking. One of her arms is slightly swingy when it is in the down position, but she holds the arm up when it is not in the down position. All the other joints are tight, and all joints are moving well. The other bubble cuts are from 1963 or later, with the "Barbie - Midge" marking. They are all in nice shape. One of the brunette bubble cuts has a very full hairdo. I am adding more photos of all these dolls. The blonde Midge doll is good except some fading on her face paint, not very noticeable until you look up close. The PJ doll unfortunately got a hair cut from a previous owner, but the rest of this doll is minty, with very full rooted eyelashes and bright original face paint. (This PJ would look great with the blonde Hair Fair braids and other blonde Hair Fair pieces!) None of these dolls have neck splits or obvious body flaws that I can tell. Many of the clothes items are TLC, as I will explain below. Some have been mended by me so that their flaw are not very noticeable when the doll is wearing it. For instance the "Extravaganza" gown had a tear in the net overlay in the back, and also a tear in the pink bodice under the net overlay in front. I mended it with closely matching thread so that it is not too noticeable unless you look up close. Some of the items have bigger flaws, such as the "Cloud 9" robe... it has a bigger tear in the lining. Some of the clothes are nice, such as the two Busy Gail body blouses in almost minty condition. There are some swimsuits in mostly nice condition. I am including some Mattel shoes. Some of them are excellent to minty -- for example there is a pair of black Japan open toe shoes in very minty condition --this pair looks as if it just came out of the package new, very shiny and smooth. The left shoe is marked Japan. There is one rare single black RIGHT open toe shoe, marked Japan -- for the 1959 #2 Barbie. There is a pair of white tennis shoes in excellent condition. There are some single mod T-strap shoes, which are kind of rare. Also some single mod pilgrim shoes. There is a pair of yellow rain boots, I don't know which outfit the yellow rain boots came from, but they are Mattel. Also there are several pairs of 1960's Mattel wedge sandals with metallic gold tops, some of them with the brown plastic bottoms, which probably originally came with Pak swimsuits, and one pair with cork bottoms. The cork pair have broken cork that needs regluing. I am adding more photos of these items, and also I will add below a detailed list below with all the items and their conditions. Let me know if you have any questions.On Mar-23-24 at 19:19:57 PDT, seller added the following info on dolls. 1) First bubble cut doll in the zebra swimsuit in nice condition except for a couple of flaws. As mentioned above the left arm is slightly swingy in the down position. When it's in the up position it holds there. All other joints are tight and moving well. One more thing that I did not see earlier that I should point out --there's a faint thread-like surface crack in the vinyl of the upper right arm near the armpit. It seems to be just on surface and nothing budges there at all - I don't know what caused it. I will try to post a pic. No other marks on body that I can see, very clean. No neck splits. On each ear there is a small earring hole that has darkened, but no green ear. Face paint is very bright, all original. Lip paint is slightly faded in some spots but not obvious. Looks a bit on the coral side. Body is "Barbie R" .Nail paint is coral, which surprised me because I thought 1961 dolls had red nails. Maybe a 1962 body with 1961 head?On Mar-24-24 at 06:51:54 PDT, seller added the following information:2) Midge doll - as mentioned above, face paint is somewhat faded and there is a bit of missing paint on lips. Also a faint pink stain around hips (as if she was wearing something red that stained the vinyl). Left arm is slighty swingy but she holds it in the upright position. 3). Blonde bubble cut w/ "Barbie/Midge" markings - nice condition, all joints tight and moving well. A bit of the coral-pink nail paint is missing, and there is a slight rub on eyelids. 4) Brunette bubble cut large bob, "Barbie/Midge" body NOTE - Pinky finger is missing on left hand. Face is a bit more tan than the body. Rub on eyebrows. Also a couple of small marks on face, as seen in photos. All joints tight and moving well. Red nail paint mostly present, but not on feet. 5). Brunette bubble cut small bob, "Barbie/Midge" body - this doll has some bigger flaws that I didn't see at first. Vinyl near feet very worn with scratches. Left arm is swingy. Also on right forehead a bit of hair was snipped.On Mar-24-24 at 07:06:31 PDT, seller added the following information:6) TNT PJ doll - as mentioned above, she has had a haircut, but other than the hair she is in almost minty condition, long full eyelashes. CLOTHES & ACCESSORIES - I will try to include most everything here, but there are a few things I don't have space to list. Starting with the early 60's things - Sweater Girl - 2 gray skirts very good condition. Busy Gal - 2 red striped body blouses, almost minty, with buttons & loops intact. One single long black tricot glove from Solo in Spotlight& Career Gril - minty. One single short white tricot glove, minty. Also a crystal bead necklace from Solo that has flaws - the metal parts are very corroded and need to be replaced, and the beads are pale. Beads are intact but necklace needs repair. White knit halter top from Mood for Music - slightly wrinkled, a bit yellowed. Red plaid zipper bag Winter Holiday - excellent. Red Pak playsuit from 1962 - Good condition except for a small tear in back near crotch seam, also a small fray in neckline.On Mar-24-24 at 07:10:40 PDT, seller added the following information:(Cont ) Masquerade costume & hat - both have flaws - a small stain in front, and black ties in back have a knot. Hat has stretched elastic. Straw purse with flowers from Accessories Pak 1961 - Front looks great with full flowers, but there is a big green stain on the back of the purse. Chiffon picture hat from After Five - white chiffon is a bit yellowed but black velvet band is in nice condition. Soda bottle from Barbie Babysits - on one side there is a flat melt mark. Black cat's eye glasses from Registered Nurse & Barbie Babysits - one arm is missing.On Mar-24-24 at 07:19:07 PDT, seller added the following information:MOD CLOTHES - Pink Sparkle dress - mended hem. Previous owner had taken up the hem to shorten it. I let it back out, and there is a crease line remaining. Also a mend in lower back near skirt hemline, where seam had frayed. Sunflower dress - there is a spot halfway down front of dress. It looks like it might be a bit of spilled nail polish there. Rest of dress is in good condition. Zokko dress - I mended a tear in the back of the dress. Not obvious when the doll is wearing the dress. Rest of dress is nice and very shiny. Comes with one boot - there are a couple of marks on one side of the boot. Extravaganza gown - as mentioned above I repaired a tear in the net overlay in back. It is diagonal across the skirt area. Not visible in front. Also I mended the ripped seams in the front pink bodice under the net. Rest of dress is in nice condition. Rest of skirt is nice, full and soft. Petti PInks Pak slip from 1969 - excellent condition, no holes. Also a sheer pink slip from Perfect Beginnings Pak - excellent condition, no holes. Palazzo pants from Evening In - nice condition except maybe slightly faded. Cloud 9 robe - this has a bigger flaw - a large tear and hole in the front lining. I started to leave this out because of the big flaw, but decided to leave it in case someone might want to repair the hole. Aqua blue blouse from Mood Matchers - slightly faded and maybe slightly discolored, but no obvious stains or tears. Yellow body blouse from Long N Fringy - some of the waist gathering has come out, also there is a small nick at the very bottom by the hem. Picture Me Pretty dress - nice condition except sleeves and white ruffles are yellowed in some spots.On Mar-24-24 at 07:34:43 PDT, seller added the following & BOOTS etc. - One pair of very minty black open toe shoes, left shoe marked Japan. Look brand new, but they are vintage Mattel early 1960's. One single RIGHT OT shoe marked Japan, made in 1959 for #2 Barbie. You can see the faint circle mark from the mold that Mattel used for this shoe -- they used the same mold from the #1 shoe with holes, and they filled in the hole for the #2 doll, leaving the faint circle outline. This shoe has some surface wear, but no cracks of splits and the heel is straight. One single RIGHT white OT shoe (regular). One single red closed toe shoe, marked Japan on bottom. One pair squishy teal blue tennis shoes marked Japan on bottom, from the Sea Worthy outfit, also Golfing Greats. Excellent except one shoe is just slightly darker than the other. A pair of white tennis shoes, excellent. Marked Korea on the bottom -- these are from early 1970's but they were made from the same mold as the early 60's Mattel shoes. Also there is a 1961 Barbie case in nice condition, with everything intact inside. It's very clean except the original owner had written her initials. The long pink gown, the pink multi colored dress, the pink flowered log dress and the green flowered hat have minor issues. A stain or fabric pulled away from the seam. All other items are in good vintage condition. Very cute yellow and orange rain coat with a hat, yellow lace dress with bonnet and purse. One pair of long white gloves and 9Â Francie hangers. If you are a fan of Mattel's Vintage Barbie or Mod dolls, or more specifically the 1960s Twiggy doll, then you may fall in love with Argigi dolls. Her face sculpt is an homage to/clone of Mattel's Twiggy doll and the mod dolls and clothing of Mattel's 1960s and 1970s. These dolls are sold from South Korea in very small batches and most are sold out. Their bodies are light plastic or vinyl (not sure) and are not heavy like the early Mattel Ponytail barbies. These have the feel of vintage clone dolls as far as weight in your hand when you pick them up. Some have painted on eyelashes, others have rooted eyelashes. I purchased them never wanting to sell them so I deboxed them and put them in my glass doll cabinet and they have only been displayed for a very short time. I have NEVER removed their clothing so am unaware if there are any issues with the doll bodies or if there is any staining from the clothing etc., so they are being SOLD AS IS/USED/NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS.
