Holes in bottom of feet This doll is in very good condition product is a huge lot of vintage Barbie doll clothes and accessories, including a stand, case, skirts, sweaters, coats, dresses, tops, undergarments, pants, shoes, swimwear, nightwear, and more. The clothing style varies from activewear and hobbies to special occasion outfits, making it suitable for all occasions. The Barbie doll is over 11 inches tall and is designed for teens and adults. Vintage Mattel #2 Ponytail Barbie Original Face No Touch Ups!
This Vintage Mattel #2 Ponytail Barbie is an original, authentic piece without any touch-ups. With a doll size of 11 inches, it is a rare and valuable addition to any collection. I purchased this doll from Marl (Marl&B) and Barbie was authenticated by her.She is in Excellent condition. I did replace the rubber band in her hair as the original rotted. She has red marks on top of feet from shoes I would imagine, but the marks are covered by her shoes. Her legs are lighter than the rest of her body. I put stockings on her and that makes her legs blend nicely with the rest of her body.I will include her original bathing suit in excellent condition and not pictured. The outfit Barbie is wearing is a reproduction. I will also include the stand.She is a beautiful doll. She has no bad odors and has been kept in a glass case.If you have any questions, please email. eBay I believe this to be an original Barbie doll as it has all the markings of a #2 Barbie. On her right butt cheek is the marking “Barbie TM. Pats. Pend. MCMLVIII. Left butt cheek has a marking of B 57 on it.She has red lipstick and red polish on her nails. There is some nail polish missing on her left toes. The sole of the right foot has a vertical partial Japan stamp. She has a mould mark on her left upper leg/hip area. Blue bathing suit is an original Barbie brand.More pictures on request. 1960 Vintage Early #3 Blond Ponytail Barbie, Brn eyeliner, w/outfits, OrigOwner
This early Mattel number 3 Barbie is all original with no touchups!I am the original owner. She was my first Barbie. She is not perfect but still a wonderful example of this beautiful iconic doll. She was gently handled and stored for more than 60 years in a smokefree home. She comes with the original zebra striped bathing suit, black mules and white sunglasses.I have included 7 outfits with accessories and the storage trunk box in which she has been stored. Most of the clothes are in excellent vintage condition but missing a few accessories as you can see in the photos. There are also two original Mattel Barbie dress patterns packages from 1961. The packages are opened but the patterns were never used. Her face is still gorgeous. The paint, luscious red lipstick, blue eyes and delicate brown eye shadow are all 100% original with no touch ups, rubs, or missing paint! The red polish on her fingers and toes shows a little rub off. (See photos.)She has all of her original hair with no missing plugs or cut pieces. She has nice poodle bangs and the original top knot. The original hair band on her ponytail was in fragments when I took her out of the storage case so I replaced it. She has JAPAN on the bottom of her foot in a rectangle. I was told by someone more knowledgeable than I, that indicates an early version of #3. Her overall skin is quite even. The Mattel marking is clear on her tush but she has some discoloration where her legs have been for so many years. She has all her fingers and toes. She has a few almost imperceptible scratches on her legs that don't show in photos. Her head, arms and legs all move well and the joints are tight. She has a some tiny metallic looking specks on her chest and dark ones on her hip and right temple. Her right ear is slightly marred. There is no green visible behind her earrings. (See photos)Barbie's clothing outfits are all original from about 1960 and are in excellent vintage condition with working zippers. They include the Winter Holiday complete with accessories and the leather-like belt, wedge shoes and plaid travel bag; the Wedding Day set with white satin gown and nylon chiffon over skirt and ruffles, the blue garter belt, pearl tiara veil, shoes and gloves; Friday Night Date with tray, drinks and a straw; Barbie Q Outfit with apron, chef's hat and some utensils; Suburban Shopper, Floral Petticoat and Fashion Undergarments with brush and mirror. Vintage Mattel #3 Blonde Ponytail Barbie w/Original Box, Bathing Suit, Glasses
Vintage #3 Blonde Ponytail Barbie Doll w/Original Swimsuit and Box.I am not the original owner and do not have the full history or know if she has been retouched. She's a beautiful doll in really nice condition overall. I took pictures of her in natural light, so you can get a good idea of her true color. I posted the maximum number of pictures. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions or let me know if you need any more pictures. I am happy to provide them. I want you to be happy with your purchase.She is the solid body that smells like crayons. Barbie markings, including the TM marking on her butt are raised. Bottom of one foot is stamped, Japan. No green ear, nose nips, or neck splits. Eyeliner is considered brown, but faded to a pinky color. Most of her nail polish and toe polish are present. All joints are nice and can hold a pose. Head moves easily. Lips are red. All the lip color looks present. She has red dots in her nostrils. She has a small dent on the inside of her right foot (shown in close-up picture, indicated by arrow). She is in played-with condition, so there is evidence of that, including tiny spots and dings. Please use the zoom feature to see close-up.Her bangs and hair are soft. Ponytail is flat in the back, from laying down in her box. Hair could use restyling. No elastic bands in her ponytail. She is wearing her original black and white swimsuit, black open toe heels, sunglasses and comes with her original booklet and a vintage Barbie black metal stand (not her original pedestal stand). Her bathing suit is quite clean, with no rips or holes noted. It stays up well. Bottom of one heel reads, Japan. No splits noted. Sunglasses are nice. Black metal stand is nice and straight. The booklet looks like all the pages are present. Box is complete, but has wear as shown. Wear includes soiling, old tape, pin holes, splits on both side panels. I was going to tape them, but will leave that up to the discretion of the buyer. The box also has the original Bradlees price sticker.I try to point out any obvious concerns with my vintage items, but I may not always catch things you may see. 1961 Barbie Doll w/ Box. RARE Mattel Brunette Bubble Cut Model #850 +12 Outfits
Vintage 1961 Mattel Barbie Doll Model #850 Brunette Bubble Cut with original box, metal wire stand, earrings, white sunglasses with gold glitter, black/white zebra bathing suit, black shoes (one marked Japan), and pink booklet. All items are original. Barbie, PATS PEND MCMLVIII by Mattel on right buttock. Beautiful turquoise eyes and red lipstick. No green ear. Hair is raven black (brunette) with tight bubble cut, red fingernail and toenail polish. Polish and lipstick in great condition and highly visible. Shows no signs of wear. Please see picture #3. Original shoes have Japan on the bottom of one shoe. Box has blue/white suburban shopper outfit on upper left side and Brunette Bubble Cut #850 label pasted on bottom of box. Box shows gentle wear and bottom right corner is split. Please see picture #2.Original owner of the doll and all of the following outfits and accessories. Doll is in excellent condition. Gently played with and well taken care of.Friday Night Date: #979. 1960 - 1964. Original vintage outfit includes: White pinafore, blue corduroy jumper, black heels, 2 plastic coke tumblers with black Barbie serving tray and drinking straws. Blue jumper has light stains on the back. All felt appliques and snaps on jumper and pinafore are present and work. Black tray, glasses and straws in great condition and show minimal wear. Original vintage outfit includes: Tennis dress, jacket, racket, socks, blue sunglasses, 2 balls, white tennis type shoes and tennis rules book. White tennis dress doesn’t have any holes and zipper works. Some yellowing due to age/storage. Jacket has orange colored ribbing and is lightly soiled on front and back due to gently play. Some very light orange bleeding has occurred on the back of the jacket. Socks, sunglasses, balls, tennis shoes, racket and tennis rules book are in great shape. Bottom of shoes are both marked Japan. Please see 5th picture.Busy Morning: #956. 1963 (Only sold for one year). Original vintage outfit includes: Pink/white dress with phone, pearl necklace, shoes, hat and handbag. No holes in dress and zipper works. Hat ribbon in great condition. Phone cord attached and white shoes (one marked Japan) are in excellent condition. Necklace is intact and features a strand of faux pearls. Handbag closure works and handle with fruit pieces present and intact. Dress has stain on left breast area. One piece of fruit on the handbag is cracked with age. Please see 6th picture.Resort Set: #963. 1959 - 1962. Original vintage set includes: Red/White jacket. blue/white sleeveless jersey knit top, white shorts, white sunhat, white strap cork wedge shoes and metal charm bracelet. All clothes are in working order, have original snaps and no holes. White shorts and sunhat show some yellowing due to age or storage. White strap cork wedge shoes are great and do not have any issues. Bracelet intact and complete. Please see 7th picture.Nighty Negligee: #965. 1959 – 1964. Original vintage outfit includes: Pink sheer full-length gown and matching sheer robe with pocket. Stuffed felt dog and pink shoes with pompom. Shoes (one marked Japan) have pompoms and in great shape. Gown and robe do not have any holes. Ties and embroidery are present and intact. Please see 8th picture. Enchanted Evening: #983. 1960 - 1963. Original vintage outfit includes: Pink gown with train accented with a rose, white stole, white long gloves, drop faux pearl earrings, 3 strand faux pearl necklace, clear shoes. All clothing pieces in excellent shape with no holes. Drop earrings are good and intact. Necklace has come apart and needs restringing. Shoes (one marked Japan) have good glitter on heels and across toe band. Please see 9th picture.Open Road: #985. 1961 – 1962. Original vintage outfit includes: Jacket, sweater, pants, hat, red sunglasses, red strap cork wedge shoes, and map. Jacket has all brown buttons but missing the top toggle and is lightly soiled. Tan sweater is in great condition with all three snaps and no holes. Pants are great with working zipper and no holes. Straw hat has no holes in red band that ties under her chin but some fraying around the straw brim is noted. Red sunglasses are great with working hinges and red strap cork wedge shoes are great with no issues. Map has been torn and only piece remains. Please see 10th picture. American Airline Flight Stewardess: #984. 1961 - 1964. Original vintage outfit includes: White blouse, navy skirt and jacket, black over the shoulder handbag, American Airlines travel bag and navy hat. White blouse has 3 tiny buttons and a working snap. Jacket has 4 tiny buttons, a working snap and a wings insignia on left front. Skirt is straight with working snap. Hat with an AA insignia on the front is in great condition with 2 prongs, so it stays in her hair. Black handbag and travel bag are excellent with working zipper on travel bag. Cardboard gold colored talc box has been bent but writing on top is vivid and shows minimal wear. Set is missing comb and brush. Blue terry towel is plain, and the word "Her's" is not present. She smells lightly of crayons Her left butt cheek has the desired “TM” indication above the word “Barbie ”Original Fingernail polish fully covers her nails and remains deep red, while toe nail polish is somewhat faded. One foot has the word Japan on it. Her makeup is still the original with the distinctive brown eye shadow. She has a small nose nip. Her original brunette hair has been professionally redone to accentuate the poodle bangs and ponytail. Her hair is all original to her. The only thing NOT vintage and original is the box liner. It is a new, nice and white reproduction that I bought recently to accommodate better doll storage while in the box. This original vintage raven haired Barbie was mine as a child. She has been carefully stored for about 60 years in my smoke free home. Please review all photos as they are an important part of the description.
