Vintage Mod Barbie Francie 10 Doll Lot Cases Accessories Clothes ~ Some Are TLC
Ten 1960's mod Mattel dolls and 2 nice cases from the same era, along with some clothes and accessories. If you look at the first photo, the 6 dolls on the right side are the dolls in the best condition of this lot, while the 4 dolls on the left end are much more TLC with major flaws. The dolls on the right side do have some flaws, but they are more minor, I think. The TNT Francie & Bend Leg Francie have full rooted eyelashes, and they are in good condition, except the TNT Francie has a spot on her right arm, and both Francie dolls have slightly faded and darkened vinyl on their heads, not very noticeable. When I look at the top of her forehead of the TNT Francie, just at the hairline under her bangs, I see a faint gray-green hue in the vinyl, but this is NOT from green ear, because this doll has never worn earrings... this is only at the hairline, not on the front of the face. The Francie dolls both have nice full hair, although the TNT Francie could could use some restyling. I see no missing face paint, although the eyebrows of the Bend Leg Francie look a bit faint. The Living Barbie is in nice condition with bright high-color face paint, all original, and very full eyelashes. She has some some slight discolorations on her legs. She has her orange mesh coverup in excellent condition, but she's missing her swimsuit. The TNT PJ doll is nice except her ponytails are undone (she has very shiny full long hair), and her face is slightly faded and darkened. She's wearing a pink swimsuit from another doll, I think maybe a non-Mattel doll, maybe a Maddie Mod. There is a Hair Fair Barbie (the Hair Fair head on a TNT Barbie body). Her face is a bit darkened like the others, but her light blonde hair is nice and shiny. There is a spot on the back of her left leg, otherwise the body is nice. There are three "Go Go Coco" TNT Barbies - the one shown wearing the hot pink nightie is in better condition than the other two. Her face is a little dark, like the others, but she has full eyelashes and bright face paint. The other two Coco TNT Barbies have more flaws. The one wearing the metallic Zokko dress is missing the eyelashes on her left eye. The one wearing the pink skating dress has severe green ear, and is also missing some eyelashes. She does have beautiful full shiny hair. The brunette Marlo Flip Barbie also has severe green ear. The Talking Barbie has no green ear, and very full lashes and bright face paint, but she has faulty legs that pop out. Also, besides these 10 dolls, there is the body of a straight-leg Francie doll, in very nice condition, with good neck nob. And also there is a head of a Casey doll, with bright eye paint and full lashes. The hair is bright auburn red-brown. I think the hair may have been trimmed a bit, because it looks shorter than Casey usually has, but whoever did the trim did it evenly all around.... There are 2 mod 1960's Mattel cases, one double and one single, both in nice condition. I am adding more photos. As for the accessories -- they two triangle earrings from the Hair Far" set (also made for the Casey doll, and for the "Evening In" outfit". One of the earrings is in near mint condition, very shiny, with just a slight bend in the post. The other one has some tarnishing and darkening, but it could be cleaned. There are two metallic gold belts with nice shiny buckles. I have not been able to identify where these came from, but they look like Mattel belts... maybe from the Best Buy era in the 70's? One of the gold belts has a fllaw in the middle, and the other one is in excellent condition. Also there is a white patent leather belt that is made exactly like the blue belt in the 1970 "Mood Matchers" outfit. I don't know what outfit it came from, maybe also from the Best Buy era. Also a white patent leather purse that I think is the one from the 1971 "Perfectly Plaid" Sears Exclusive outfit...at least it looks exactly like it. Also there are some other accessories... I will add a list of all of them. There is one single Francie squishy pointed toe shoe with low heel, bone white in color, marked "Japan" on the bottom. There are 2 pairs of Mattel white squishy vinyl tennis shoes, one pair marked "Korea" on the bottom, plus an extra single one marked "Korea" and one pair unmarked. These are made exactly like the 1960's squishy Barbie tennis shoes that were marked "Japan". I think the "Korea" shoes are from the 1970's. I don't know when the other pair was made. The two pairs are in nice condition except they are off-white. The extra single tennis shoe has a slight pink stain. plus I also include a lot of Mattel open-toe shoes. The shoes on the left side of the pics are marked "Taiwan" and "Korea" on the bottom, and I believe they are from the 1970's, after Mattel moved its factories from Japan to Taiwan, then to Korea. These are shaped exaclty the same as the earlier 1960's Mattel open toe shoes made in Japan. The shoes on the right side are much more recent Mattel shoes -- they are are marked "Phillipines" -- and they have wider bottoms. These open toe shoes are all in nice condition with no cracks. There is also a pair of Mattel mod pink T-strap shoes from the early 1970's, but these both have a crack in the instep. For the items I haven't mentioned yet, I am adding a list, with the condition on each. Free shipping in the U.S. I always pack everything very carefully with lots of bubble wrap, in a sturdy box. These are items that I've had in my collection for some years, and I have carefully kept them sealed in a nice clean environment. Smoke-free. On Dec-01-24 at 06:45:13 PST, seller added the following information:If you need to see any more photos please message me. Some more details on items ~ I think the longer gold belt may be from the "Intrigue" gold coat, 1967. It has a flaw in the middle of the belt, a tear. One other item I did not mention is a pair of Barbie stockings, nude in color, in nice condition. Somehow it did not get into the photos. I think it may be from the "All That Jazz" outfit, 1968. On the Francie clothes items ~ there is the long blue pants from the "Bridge Bit" outfit in nice condition except the tiny "buckle" at the waist is tarnished. A "Slumber Number" nightie in good condition except the pink shoulder straps are wrinkled and a bit faded. A "Super Shirt" pak body shirt from 1970 -- the crotch seam is broken but the rest of the shirt is nice, with the Francie tag. Also there's one boot from the "Leather Limelight" outfit but it is flawed - a bit yellowed, and there is a rust-like spot on one side. A "Growin Pretty" Franc;ie outfit with tears in outer layer. On Dec-01-24 at 06:49:12 PST, seller added the following items ~ "Lovely Sleep-ins" coat, nice condition except "fur" trim is now as full as when new. Yellow fuzzy "fur" coat from "Smasheroo" -- soft fur -- but the lining is a bit uneven. The "Zokko" dress has some fading, and is missing the belt. Top snap is there, but bottom snap is missing. "Dream-Ins" nightie has a big tear in the back, and hem is damaged. "Mood Matchers" top has some fading. Orange "leather" coat from "the Ski Scene" has a curled opening. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
