Vintage Carnation Barbie Bubble-Cut -1964 MINT IN BOX!!
This is a super rare vintage Carnation Barbie Bubble-Cut doll from 1964, still in its original packaging. Ordered and received through the Carnation mail-in program with purchase of Carnation malted milk in 1964. Back then if you sent in a Carnation label and 10 cents ,they would send you a catalog ,where you could order a doll or choose between many outfits for varying prices. Also the special order forms could be found in Comic books in 1964 and on the back of carnation labels. I’m including an order form that was found on the back cover of a Tarzan comic book from July 1964. Also included is a 1964 Carnation catalog that came with the Carnation Special doll sets. These are rare HTF pieces of Barbie Mattel memorabilia! This doll was one of those dolls. They came with plastic wrap and a gold carnation seal ,that had been discarded years ago. I have placed safe nylon pearl earrings in her ears to prevent greening. This doll has beautiful ginger blonde hair, that has never been combed and she has never been played with. She is mint ,and so is her box, accessories and swimsuit. This doll was made of high-quality vinyl, cloth, cardboard, plastic, and metal materials. This original Mattel fashion doll is 11.5 inches in size and was manufactured in Japan during the 1960s. The product line is Bubblecut Barbie, and it is a great addition to any doll collection Please blow up an examine photos for condition and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
