Vintage Barbie SEARS Exclusive. #1547 GLIMMER GLAMOUR RARE - EXC (1968)
This Sears exclusive outfit for Barbie is very rare. It is also extremely difficult to find it in good condition. This outfit includes the gold mesh sparkle coat with the ties and it is lined in yellow nylon. There is a small spot on the inside of the coat. The blue taffeta dress with blue chiffon over sheer still has a lot of its original gold sparkle. It is not crispy mint but still in vgc. The back of the dress still has its two hooks and eyes. There are no rips or tears or stains in the dress or the over sheer nylon.The outfit comes with the original clear open toed shoes with gold glitter across the strap. Also included is the original gold belt with gold buckle. I added the matching clutch purse. This outfit does includes the gold sheer nylon hose! Those are almost impossible to find! One has a rip near the seam and a tear. The other is good!!I was just at the 2024 Barbie convention and saw this crispy mint. Gorgeous!! It was also $1500. FYI. Vintage 1984 Barbie Glamour Home with box and complete with furniture. This house is in GREAT Vintage condition! I did an inventory check and accounted for all the pieces to the house off the part sheet included with the instructions - the foam bed had disintegrated so I discarded it - not in useable condition. All the panels are in excellent shape still bright in color have no dirt or water damage. All the pink plastic beams are accounted for, some have some minor cracks but no large chips missing - all in usable condition. All the pieces to the spiral staircase are accounted for including the small HTF connector piece for the railing. All the furniture also included, wicker chair & cushions, swing, table and chairs, grill and all utensils, and bed.Comes in the original box and also included are the instructions ( some sections are taped together). 1984 Barbie Glamour Home w/ Box + Huge Lot Of Dolls & Accessories 70s,80s,90s
This is a great lot of vintage Barbie collectibles containing some very rare pieces including items such as the 1984 Barbie Glamour Home and the 1978 kissing Barbie. Although the home is missing some of its original pieces, it is in reasonably good condition considering its age. Some of the connecting beams have slight cracks and discoloration but the structure connects together very securely. Most of the small connectors on the stairs are broken off but that’s really a non issue because the large connectors keep each piece in place just fine. The tub was missing some pieces so my daughter and I made our own faucet, handles and shower head but we did not glue anything or remove any original pieces. Any customization that was done can be removed with ease. This lot comes with everything you see pictured. Please see photos for more details.
