I've searched for the coordinating parts with no success.The head is a rare find, but the vintage outfits are also pretty cool. Several of the clothing items could use some mending, but hey, they're all over 50 years old! If you're handy with a needle and thread, you should be able to easily spruce these up.The body is in very good vintage condition. The head also is, but as should be expected from a doll that's known love, the hair is worn and thinner in spots (see photos). Vintage Barbie #3 1960 lovely color, new sheath dress, some issues BEST PRICE!!!
Genuine vintage #3 Barbie, beautifully evenly faded face, arms and lower legs to a lovely, creamy white. The true sign of all #3 Barbies. She was wearing the same outfit since I got her and the areas covered by clothing are not as evenly faded. Some staining from a body suit. See all photos and look carefully. Correct marking on body for this doll. Hair is in perfect condition for this model of Barbie. Curly bangs. Blue eyes with rare blue eye shadow. She is wearing earrings that I was told are actually gold, thus no discoloration from them (they have been in since I got her 30 years ago). No green ears at all. Perfect hands with red polish. Her feet have issues. The surface of the right foot is rough. Not sure why. The left foot has a small piece broken off (happened very recently; I literally cried!) Close toed pumps will cover all and even protect her feet.The dress is a handmade design from a Vogue pattern similar to the Apple Print Sheath. It is not professional but pretty good, if I do say so myself. The print is the perfect scale for Barbie.I have taken into account the imperfections of this 65 year old doll in my pricing. The range of asking prices for the #3 Barbie is incredible (up to close to $4,000!) If you have ever wanted one of these but cannot bring yourself to mortgage your house for one, here is your chance for a really lovely one at a much more reasonable price. I'll include a reproduction box. And black mules. My gift to you is a doll stand (new).I am nearing the end of my own, lovely Barbie collection sale. I've saved the best for last. 1985 COMPLETE, VINTAGE 1978 MATTEL BARBIE DREAM HOUSE Factory Box Furniture Rare
This Barbie house was bought in 1985 for Christmas was played with for a few days then put back up in the closet in a large Rubbermaid container. It was put back in the original factory box and shrink wrap. As you can see I've taken many photos to show their the condition . It looks to have been one piece of new tape that was put across the seam as the other tape being too old. The box is not perfect ..but Very good..Great graphics...but it's still holds itself well. I've never seen a factory box with an original Sears label on it. Also at the time when the it was put away in the closet....the gentleman took photographs... Polaroid snapshots of all of the accessories and pieces that were packed neatly back in the box as he was very meticulous person...so those are to show what exactly comes with this set I believe it to be 100% complete and not a Barbie expert. but I also bought a bunch of other dolls from this guy that you'll be seeing here on my eBay site so you have any questions please ask them and thank you This is a rare and pretty sure complete vintage 1985 Mattel Barbie Dream House, including the original factory box. American Girl Era Bubble Cut OLD STORE STOCK! NIB Friend of Ponytail Barbie
This vintage very rare Bubble Cut Barbie, boxed, with all associated items, is new-in-box (NIB) that was made when Mattel started producing the American Girl Barbie doll. She is indeed NEW, but, I decided to listed her as "used," which I will mention later in this description why I am listing her as such. Found in stockroom of a store that closed in the 1960s, never put out front of store so she was never sold to the public. She is considered a "transitional" American Girl Era Bubble Cut Barbie due to her having the American Girl face and not the face on normal Bubble Cuts. She has American Girl markings on her neck rim that state: ©1958 Mattel, Inc., and she comes with a gold wire stand. Those are three attributes you see on the American Girl Barbie dolls and not on Bubble Cuts. For these reasons, this doll is an American Girl era "transitoinal" Bubble Cut Barbie doll. Earlier this year I ran across a listing exactly like my doll. That eBay seller listed this exact same doll asking $775 BIN and she sold it. What I found interesting is that other seller stated her doll was a transitional Bubble Cut made in the American Girl era as having markings on her neck that showed: ©1958 Mattel, Inc., had American Girl face, and came with a gold wire stand. This doll is same as the other seller's doll. However, I needed to view her neck rim to make sure when I list her, I am right on description for this doll. The only way for me to find was to remove her from her box, carefully remove her head from her body, and view her neck rim. This would be the first time I have ever removed her from her box! I carefully removed her from her box as to avoid putting another crease or tearing box insert and then very carefully, I removed her head. I am very happy to report, the markings of ©1958 Mattel, Inc., is indeed on the rim of her neck. However, this was when I saw a yellow substance on the inside her neck rim. This was a surprise to me. I do not know what the yellow substance is, but you need to see this substance. Of course once her head is placed back onto her body, yellow substance is hidden. My photo showing neck rim was added to this listing and is blurry, hard to even see the markings on this neck rim, but markings are there. I very carefully placed her head back onto her body and did not ruin integrity of head hole opening. There are no split(s) made in doing this investigation to this doll's neck hole opening. I have always stored her in a clear plastic zippered case not only for protection against home environment. Her box fits inside this protective case perfectly. You will receive the clear protective case too. This rare American Girl Era "transitional" Bubble Cut Barbie doll still has her wrist tag and box insert does have one staple on each side from factory. Her booklet and red Japan open toe shoes are still sealed in original cello. Now for the reason I am listing her as "used." Even though she is a NEW old store stock doll, I decided to list her as "USED" for these reasons: both her ears have greening due to wearing post earrings, her post earrings are missing, she has been removed from box, there is a super tiny tear to box insert where her feet go into the holes, there is some paint missing on her lips, there is crease in box insert located each side of her shoulders, torn off graphic on end flap that I feel was the price tag and someone removed it, and now, I just discovered that yellow substance inside her neck rim. Please know I am not the original owner of this doll. I am the second owner. I received her with her earrings removed so this doll was taken out of her box before she came to me. I WISH TO THANK MY DEAR BARBIE BUDDY, ETHEL that lives in northeast U.S. for giving me this doll in support for my quest to raise funds to help my son that has cancer. Thank you Ethel! This vintage Barbie Fashion Shop, manufactured by Mattel in 1962, is a must-have for collectors and Barbie enthusiasts. Clearing out the house that I, my late sister and parents grew up in. Non smoking household.All shown in pictures were found in the Jamie Party Penthouse which I also have up for auction.Do not know anything about the Barbie line but it looks like almost all of the contents are for them except I did see that the collection of stiletto shoes seem to be smaller then the Barbie feet. Some of the clothes have marks and clasp may be missing but overall very good shape for being around 60 years old.Please zoom in on the pics as they are part of the description and if you have any questions feel free to ask.The dolls do not seem to have any date stamp or made from on them so what I have researched these are from the early 60's.The one doll who I think is Stacey with short red hair has some smudges on her where the other two dont seem to have much at all. 1963 Ideal Folding Cardboard Barbie/Tammy Dollhouse - AMAZING CONDITION!
1963 Ideal Folding Cardboard Dollhouse for Barbie/Tammy - All furniture and accessories present to my knowledge. THIS PLAYSET IS IN AWESOME OVERALL CONDITION FOR ITS AGE AND IS VIRTUALLY COMPLETE!! (with the exception of a minor structural piece missing from the top of the closet.) Structure and furniture have the expected vintage cardboard wear and tear but nothing major, and overall the set is in excellent vintage condition. Closed box measures 24"l x 7.5"w x 13.5"h.I have included an extra coffee table that did not come with the original set, as well as some plastic doll clothes hangers. There are two outdoor chaise lounge chairs but I believe the original set only came with one. The set still has the original 4 clips to hold the walls in place when the house is set up.Description of Condition:1. Structure-wise the only missing original piece is the top of the closet which I have partially replaced with a new piece of cardboard. (See photos.) 2. There are some discoloration/stains present on parts of the outside, and some of the walls, floors and furniture. Note that most of the spots on the kitchen floor are part of the design to mimic linoleum. (See photos.)3. A previous owner glued a few of the pieces of furniture to keep the tabs in place but I don't see any tape marks or tape on anything.4. One of the chaise lounges has part of a leg missing, but it still stands properly.5. The bed board has been reinforced in the back with cardboard.6.
