Barbie Vintage Mattel Modern Furniture 1958 Japan w/ Boxes - RARE w/shipping box
eBay This is about as good as it gets folks…. A more than complete (salesman samples?) set of Mattel Modern Furniture all in original boxes and in the original shipping box. Included are: 1 - Sofa #801, 2 - Easy Chairs #802, 1 - Coffee Table #803, 1 - Side Table w/ Lamp #804, 1 - Dining Table w/ 2 - Chairs #805, 1 - Buffet #806, 1 - Queen Bed #807, 1 - Dresser w/ Mirror #808, 1 - Open Wardrobe #809, 1 - Studio Set - 2 - Daybeds, Corner Table, Lamp #810, 1 - Studio Bed #811 In 1958 Mattel introduced a line of doll furniture for 8" to 10-1/2" dolls called "Mattel Modern Furniture." The pieces were styled after the Danish Modern furniture so popular in the 1950's. The furniture was made in Japan and crafted from wood. Soon after, Mattel Modern Furniture was discontinued and ever since collectors have searched for and coveted these little gems. These highly collectible pieces were produced in Japan in 1958 and modeled after mid-century modern Danish furniture of the period – they are made of real wood and have many original details, as the commercial says the textiles are “real decorator fabric”. This furniture was produced the year before Barbie came on the scene and although many people thought it was designed for Barbie, at 12” tall she and Ken were just too big for it. Later Barbie designed doll-houses and furniture was designed at the appropriate 1/6th scale.Check out the vintage commercial - super cool! Condition: There is some wear to various boxes and a couple of them are drawn on, there is some dried out foam rubber filling loss on some of the cushions, some minor wood separation due to age - at 65 years old, the furniture is in excellent unplayed with condition. I have been collecting modern doll furniture and dollhouses for over 25 years and this is the most complete set I have seen... eBay It's October 27th. If the house doesn't sell right away I will be changing it to a bidding auction with the starting bid at 1600. I've seen what these go for in bidding every single one of them went for higher than this......and none of them had as much furniture or better condition as far as the pink not being faded or discolored at all. Someone is sure to appreciate this house! *Got my first message that the link to the album isn't working. I added a different pic of the link so maybe it will fix the problem. I tested it from a different browser and it opened right up. Message me if you're having difficulty and I'll try to help. This listing had over 100 watchers when I ended it. I had it sold and the sale fell through unexpectedly. I have since completely disassembled it without any of the plastic pieces breaking or losing any hardware. No stripped screws. Everything remained intact. I have updated the album as well. You can find the link in the last picture. There are close to 200 pictures of the house from empty to completely set up and arranged to disassembled and ready for shipping. There's even a video of the washer and dryer working. It's over 30 years old after all. It will come DISASSEMBLED to fit in a box. Pictures have been taken of every single piece of this process to avoid any possible return requests. 1985 COMPLETE, VINTAGE 1978 MATTEL BARBIE DREAM HOUSE Factory Box Furniture Rare
This Barbie house was bought in 1985 for Christmas was played with for a few days then put back up in the closet in a large Rubbermaid container. It was put back in the original factory box and shrink wrap. As you can see I've taken many photos to show their the condition . It looks to have been one piece of new tape that was put across the seam as the other tape being too old. The box is not perfect ..but Very good..Great graphics...but it's still holds itself well. I've never seen a factory box with an original Sears label on it. Also at the time when the it was put away in the closet....the gentleman took photographs... Polaroid snapshots of all of the accessories and pieces that were packed neatly back in the box as he was very meticulous person...so those are to show what exactly comes with this set I believe it to be 100% complete and not a Barbie expert. but I also bought a bunch of other dolls from this guy that you'll be seeing here on my eBay site so you have any questions please ask them and thank you This is a rare and pretty sure complete vintage 1985 Mattel Barbie Dream House, including the original factory box. RARE VHTF 1964 Vintage Barbie Mattel 4092 New Dream House PLEASE READ
This rare and very hard to find (VHTF in title) Barbie Dream House from Mattel from 1964 is in surprisingly very good condition considering it is 60 years old.This was my wife's pride and joy when she was about 10 years old. The house does show minimal wear in a few areas as should be expected from a children's toy that is made out of cardboard. All the furniture and fixtures that are in the photos including the miniature cereal boxes, that are in the kitchen cupboard, are included in this auction Unopened the house measures 22X10X16 and weighs 8 1/2 pounds. Please refer to the photo with the yardstick to get an idea of the size when it is fully opened up. Vintage1962 Barbie "FASHION SHOP" orig. Mattel Cardboard shop, furniture, etc.
This is a very nice fashion shop. All of the original furniture and accessories are encluded. Everything looks like new except for the couple of things mentioned below. None of the furniture or accessorise have stains, there are no marks or writing on anything. The colors are very nice. I'm the original owner. I only played with this fashion shop a few times then it was put in storage. The outside wrap has a tear that was glued together, both ends have old tape stains and one side the handle pulled through and tore the wrap. The inside floor look's good. <br /> All three buildi
