vintage barbie doll 900 Series complete outfits-doll not included
My aunt owned a paint store in 1959 when I was 10 years old. She also sold toys in a special section upstairs and my sister and I looked forward every year to visiting her shop and picking out things we wanted to put on our Christmas list. My birthday is in November, and the year I turned 10, she gave me one of the first Mattel Barbies made in Japan. I thought Barbie wasn’t very pretty, but I loved her clothes. She is long gone, but her outfits are alive and in excellent condition, as I became obsessed with her clothes. I would not let anyone touch my Barbie, and on every Birthday and Christmas until I became a teen, all I asked for were Barbie outfits. She had more clothes than I ever dreamed of having. Now I am 73 years old and have 2 beautiful granddaughters and 7 great nieces who love Barbie too. I would love to leave this cherished collection to my granddaughters or a great nieces, but none of them would ever value these items as I did. They would end up lost, tossed aside or in the trash. So, as much as it breaks my heart to sell these items, I feel selling them can benefit my education in the future. A few pieces were missing, like an earring or glove, but replaced by me. Every outfit in this 900 series collection is clean, mint, & complete and owned by the original owner ME The collection has been stored meticulously in acid free tissue and nothing has any odor of any kind.The following items are all Original. Vintage Barbie American Girl Lot
eBay Please do not make an offer unless you truly want to pay as it'squite frustrating having to re list and lose watchers. I am open to a reasonable and fair offer Absolutely beautiful pair of American girl Barbies wearing sought after ensembles. Both have excellent coloring, no darkening to face, arms or legs. Earing holes but no green on either doll. No nose nip, neck splits or missing digits. Good tidy feet. The Brunette has tight hips, legs click 3 on one and 2 on the other leg. The Blonde has a slight loose hip on one side, firmly attached though. Both legs hold 3 positions. Super clean dolls with full hair. Facepaint is lovely on both. The Saturday matinee is excellent. It is missing the gloves. The fashion luncheon is very nice, it has a little fraying on sleeves and maybe missing some extra greenery on the hat. I found the gloves for and they are shown in the last pictures. I recently purchased 2 new American girls, these 2 are therefore out of a job. Absolutely beautiful ready to display dolls. I did not undress them as I do not want to cause any catches to the outfits. I had notes on them and they both have good clean bodies. Please see all pics before making an offer as vintage dolls are non returnable. This will be my last lot for this year as the mail gets a little crazy soon. OOAK Siltstone Barbie Custom Rerooted Repainted "Alice" by Dan Lee
This OOAK Silkstone Barbie done by Dan Lee of Wideeyedgirls is simply exquisite! She started as a silkstone Barbie and was repainted, rerooted and redressed. And done so very well, I love the fabrics he used to create her new look. She was made in 2010 and is in her original box with full description on back and photograph autographed by the award winning artist, Dan Lee. She has a full reroot with Dark Champagne KatSilk Saran hair, styled into a bouffant "Sidepart American Girl Style", with a silk ribbon hairband and silk hair string. Complete facial repaint with artist quality acrylics, sealed for protection. Suit is based on the "Fashion Luncheon" vintage Barbie outfit and is made from purse silk taffeta, silk/lurex Dupioni and a pure silk brocade, woven in Sudbury, England. Turban style hat is made from the same brocade and she has fuchsia slingback shoes and white gloves. According to what I have read about Dan, he spent hours researching and sourcing to create this doll and another 20 to 30 hours of work on the doll. Each doll is a labor of love. Never displayed outside of her box. Priced on back of her box at $595.00 in 2010. She is wonderful! Shipping includes insurance and signature confirmation. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

Her hair is thick and she still has her original make-up present. No green ear. Nail polish on both hands. Right foot has a pin prick on the arch see photo.
