VTG WORLD OF BARBIE FASHIONS STORE DISPLAY, STACEY, PJ, MOD BARBIE, 4 DOLLS 1970
eBay Up for auction is a vintage Barbie store display, which is dated 1970. This "World of Barbie Fashion Boutique" set is an estate find that is incredibly rare! It includes four dolls: two mod Barbie dolls, a Stacey doll, and a PJ doll. Stacey is wearing a pink negligee set with poodle slippers but the other three dolls are wearing mod fashions. From left to right, the first doll is wearing a yellow pant suit set with yellow high heels, the second is wearing a multi-colored abstract patterned mini dress with green high heels, and the PJ doll is wearing an outfit that epitomizes the 1960s and early 70s: an orange mini dress with plaid skirt and matching orange coat and plaid scarf, with yellow boots. All of the dolls are in new condition, with all original outfits and wrist tags. Each silver tag is marked with the name of the doll on one side and "Made in Japan" on the other. They are charmingly posed in their original store display which is in excellent condition. The blonde Stacey doll has shifted position over the years so that she is partially blocking one of the Barbie dolls, but she seems to be stable at this point. The store display does show some wear, including dents in the plastic, which can be popped out a bit but tend to want to return to their dented state. There are no holes in the plastic though. There is a small area with adhesive residue (probably from a sticker that was removed at some point) on the front and slight slits in the plastic on the top and bottom of the display. There is mild wear to the cardboard in places. I took lots of pictures so please view all of the pictures carefully as they are part of the description. There are no unpleasant odors.This is a must have for the serious Barbie collector!Thank you for looking at my auction. This is a Used Pre-owned Vintage Lot of Original 1960s Barbie dolls, TM black label clothing sets, double doll cases and other related Barbie items. Many of these early Barbie items are valuable and very collectible. Included are 6 early Barbie, Ken & Allan dolls, 25 Barbie ensembles and 13 Ken outfits. Items included are everything shown in the pictures, except stands. Original packaging is not included. The items in this lot are pre-owned, used, and gently played with They come from my personal collection and a non-smoking environment. Condition of most of the items included is good to excellent, though some may have slight flaws, such as loose threads. Most items contain original TM black tag labels. Vintage 1960s Swirl Ponytail Barbie Lot/Original Clothing Case & Accessories. Includes five Swirl Ponytail Barbies, one brunette, one lemon, one platinum and two ash blondes, a black Barbie case, 23 separate outfits, including nightwear, multiple swimsuits, dresses and skirt sets, all Mattel original black tag pieces, luggage, many fun accessories and hangers. Dolls are all in good condition. There are no neck splits or missing limbs. There are a few very light, minute green ear spots, but they are very small and only noticeable upon close inspection. Vtg 1960s Mattel Ken Allan Ricky Doll LOT w/Original Boxes Clothes & Accessories
Massive vintage 1960s Mattel Ken, Allan, and Ricky doll lot with hundreds of pieces of original black tag clothing and accessories. Lot includes 18 boxed dolls, 4 of which are Ricky dolls, 4 are Allan dolls, and 10 are Kens, some molded hair and some flocked hair, 12 unboxed dolls which include 1 Ricky, 2 Allans and the 9 molded hair Kens, some blondes and some brunettes, each boxed dolls wearing the original swimsuit sets, but 2 Ricky dolls are dressed in his original outfits. Each box also has a mini catalog (except a couple of the Ricky boxes) and a wire stand. The other dolls are all dressed in original black tag Ken outfits. In addition, there are approximately 30 additional separately packaged outfits, not necessarily complete, 6 pak items in original packaging, some packaging tears and one accessory pak is incomplete, and approximately 25 separate bags of extra outfit pieces separated by outfit. These bags contain many multiples of clothing, shoes, and accessories. The bag of white items are all Ken tops, shorts and pants that need cleaning. Clothing pieces range in condition from tlc due to needing cleaning to mint. There may be missing snaps or loose hems, but I left out any I found that were hopeless. Two of the doll boxes are missing a flap on one end. One box has a lot of tape, and some have writing. The dolls are all in good condition. Some could use a cleaning, but none have any major condition issues noted. The flocked haired guys may have some missing flocking, but not a drastic amount. This is a huge lot that weighs 25 lbs. Lots of old Barbie, Skipper, Francie, Clone doll clothes, mod fashion doll clothes. Lots of shoes. Not all shoes have matches. These clothes aren’t in perfect shape. A lot need washed. Some need snaps put in. This set is sold as is. It’s very important to look carefully. These will all be in one box. I will protect the clothes so when opened you don’t cut the clothes. Shoes of course will be in bags. I took pictures of all the pieces. The last bag is a extra that I’m sending in case there’s a piece in the bag that needed for a set. Some of the clothes are hand made. I know Barbie collectors will be able to tell which ones are handmade by the pictures. Dolls. All dolls are in good shape and only need cleaned. One of the bubble cut dolls have a pinky missing on one hand. The rest have no missing pieces or rips. Each picture is different except for the Ken clothes. As for the dolls some of the fingers are missing and some of the heads have tears in the necks. I know one of the heads is Quick Curl Kelley with Steffie face. The brunette heads are from Hair Fair and another one is Growin Pretty Hair Barbie. The hinges on the suitcases are broken and were held together with tape. Vintage 1960s American Girl Barbie lot that includes 4 bendable leg American Girl Barbie, one longer haired blonde, one platinum/lemon blonde, one titian haired and one brunette. Also included are 4 original American Girl Barbie striped swimsuits, two pairs of original turquoise Japan heels that were worn with the swimsuits, one catalog, luggage with lots of fun accessories, one black double Barbie case and 18 separate outfits. Large nostalgic late 50's / 60's Barbie and Ken Estate lot. 7 Dolls, **OVER 100 PIECES OF CLOTHING!!!** Multiple accessories, 4 Ponytail cases, ephemera. Dolls and cases are in the condition I purchased them in with the exception of wiping down the Ponytail cases. - Ken in Mexico (1963) Blue Eyes, Flocked Brunette Hair (patchy around the crown of the head.) Original paint on face, some light wear on eyebrows. Bottom of right foot stamped Japan. Light marks on tip of nose. Non-bending joints, Joints are mostly tight, arms are a touch loose. No bite marks on feet but possibly on hands, (not terrible, but some blemishes there.) - "Ken in Mexico" outfit looks complete, pants have little intact stirrups, has original black cowboy boots and paper insert. (There is also an insert for Barbie in Mexico but no doll or clothes found.) - Original Ken (1960) Bottom stamped Hawthorn CA USA. Painted on blonde hair shows some wear around the crown of the head. Face paint is original and looks great. No chew marks. Some discoloration on shoulders. Joints are loose, do not bend. - 1960s Brunette Bubblecut Barbie. Red lips and a sideways glance. All original paint on face, fingers and toes (some nails missing paint due to age.) No chew marks. Bottom of right foot stamped "Japan." There are two small cuts on the back of her right arm/hand. Her hair is full and thick with no flat spots. Joints are tight, no loose movements. - 1958 American Girl Doll, Titian (red) hair, sideways glance. Sadly, lots of green on the face of this one. Green has also gotten into the hair. Nice original paint on the fingers, none on the toes. No chew marks. Bendable knee joints, both function excellently. Holes in the bottom of the feet. Joints are tight, no loose movements. - 1960s Blonde Francie Doll. Pink Lips, blushing cheeks, light brown eyes, and beautifully full eyelashes! All original paint. No paint on fingers or toes. No chew marks. Bendable knee joints, both function excellently. Holes in the bottom of the feet. Hair is full and has no flat spots. Bottom stamped Made in Japan. Joints are tight, no loose movements. - 1960s Blonde Ponytail Barbie. Pink lips, blushing cheeks, brown eyes with painted lashes and cat eye makeup. Painted fingers and toes (some nails missing paint due to age.) All original paint. No chew marks. Bottom of right foot stamped "Japan." Ears are pierced but no jewlery installed. Hair is full and has no flat spots. Joints are tight, no loose movements. - 1960s Strawberry Blonde Midge. Wonderful paint on face, fingers, and toes! Vibrant pink lips, blue eyes, and freckles. Vintage lot of 3 1960s Barbies that include a brunette #6/7 Ponytail, a brunette American Girl Barbie, and a brunette Bubblecut. Lot also includes 20 separate outfits, not necessarily complete, including the ones they are wearing, 3 catalogs, and a double Mattel case. Dolls are all in great condition. There are no neck splits, nose nips, or missing digits. The AG has some pin pricks, some damage to her ankles, and her right foot has cuts. Her knees click at least twice. Her right leg is slightly swingy, but holds a pose. Eye ridges have been touched up, but all other makeup is original. Clothes range in condition from ok to excellent.
