This is a stunning vintage 1959 #1, first issue Barbie doll. The quintessential blonde ponytail Barbie. This doll is hand painted with all original hand painted face paint, finger and toe nails. Only the first #1 Barbie dolls were hand painted thereafter they were painted using stencils. Her hair is all original and has a tight top knot and tight curl in the ponytail. Her curly bangs are all original and beautiful. Her skin tone is mostly an even pale pink ivory. The metal tubes in her legs are intact and in mint condition She has her original vintage black and white stripe swim suit.
