Here's a really fine NEAR MINT example of Ken's Hot Rod from 1963! This was made in the U.S.A. by Irwin Co. under license from Mattel. This is much harder to find than Barbie's Austin Healy convertible This hot rod reminds me of the Ed Roth style cars from the early 60's. I have displayed the Ken doll and Truly Scrumptious doll in the vehicle, since the hot rod also reminds me of the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang flying car from the Disney movie of the late 60's.
