For your consideration is this Stunning and Extremely Rare BILD LILLI DOLL who was the inspiration for the first Barbie doll. Lilli was manufactured by the O&M Hausser Toy Company in Germany from 1955 until 1964 when Mattel acquired the rites to the doll and ceased production. About 130,000 Bild Billi dolls were made during those nine years.She was based on a popular "naughty" cartoon-strip character Lilli created by Reinhard Beuthien and which ran in the German tabloid newspaper Bild.Lilli is 11.5 inches tall and has her original makeup with a perfect ponytail washed and retied by the inimita
