RARE 1959 Barbie Vintage Brunette EXCELLENT CONDITION Never Been Played With.*ONLY ONE OWNER* This original Barbie(blond) {{brunette-in another auction}} was purchased by my mother-in-law in 1959 when she found out she was pregnant with my husband. However, in those days, you couldn't find out if you were having a boy or a girl until they were born. My husband was born in December 1959. So, she held on to this Barbie in hopes that one day she would have a daughter and they would be able to play with this beautiful doll. Fortunately or unfortunately she had another boy in 1962. She never had a girl. So, fast forward to today. She asked me if I would help her sell her Original 1959 vintage Brunette ponytail Barbie. She comes with her original box, original black and white swimsuit, black open toe shoes and "Japan" is marked on the bottom of her foot. She has original makeup, hair, and nice skin tone. Her fingernails + toenails are in excellent condition without any chips and are very vibrant. Makeup is all original, as well as her hair. Joints are still tight. She has NOT been played with. She has the TM marking on her bottom. Her box is in good condition. She comes with original swimsuit with are original neckline, black open toe heels, and pearl like earrings. She does have some green on her ears from the earrings (see last photo).See pictures for all the details. Barbie has been living in a pet free, smoke free home all her life. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
