Original Listing Description

Vintage Original #3 TM Brunette Barbie Doll No. 850 from 1960 in her original TM box with insert & wearing her original zebra stripe swimming suit. She comes with her original black mules (with holes), TM booklet, TM pedestal stand (TLC wire), and blue lens sunglasses. Seriously, I think this doll may be the prettiest Barbie I have ever seen. She is so beautiful and looks like she has never been played with. Her hair is in it's original ponytail with curl and back rubber band. No missing hair or issues I can find. Either someone removed her earrings or she missed getting any originally, so she has no green ear at all (woo hoo!). No neck splits. Her face paint is original and looks perfect. Her lips and blush are a little on the orangey-red side and look gorgeous. Her body is a TM solid body & nearly perfect with just a couple age related issues. I just gently removed her swimming suit, gave her a mild wipe-down took photos and put it back on. She has no loose limbs, no cracks. She has faded to a fairly even ivory color. But, since she had been wearing her shoes all these years, the dye in the #1 mules has seeped into her feet and given them a maroon color in the shape of the shoes. I haven't tried to do anything to remove it. She seems to have a black spec on her right breast as well. She has all her red finger and toe nail polish. It looks like just one little chip of the paint on her right thumb. She is wearing her original zebra stripe swimming suit. No holes, stains or odors. The white is a little more ivory from age. She comes with her original black mules which are actually #1/2 shoes with the holes in the bottoms. She also has her original white cat eye sunglasses with blue lenses. No issues I can find. Her original TM pedestal stand is also included. The base is in great shape, but the wire stand part has broken into 2 pieces where they connect. Maybe you have an idea to repair it? I was thinking welding (out of my comfort zone) or super glue. She comes in her original TM box with "neck holding" insert. It has the "Brunette" overlay sticker on the end. It has a few issues- tape at a few corners and a split corner on the upper left top and bottom box. But, overall still really good shape for its age. No issues with the TM booklet other than it having a bit of a wave in the paper from having been under Barbie's legs all these years. Please see the photos for full condition details.
