1st ED. Vintage Original African American Black Francie Barbie Doll 1967-1968. (1966 had red hair...1967 had black hair...mine has black hair). Very little play with it. Original swimsuit AND original "groovy" outfit (I never looked up its name/number).As a child, I had asked for a Barbie that looked like a friend (who was African American) but there weren't any. As soon as this came out, my mom bounced on it. But since it was just a dyed Francie (did NOT look like my friend), it was relegated to bottom tier toy, hence its excellent condition. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
