This is a vintage original "New Midge" doll that was produced just for the Asian market from 1963. She has a straight leg body with great polish. These dolls are very prone to green ear and this girl has just shadows of green on her cheeks. We don't think she has had any treatment for this affliction. The faint green on this doll has been stable since we removed the metal earrings upon purchase about 15 years ago. The face paint is excellent and all original. The bottom lip is a little lighter than the top. Small lips are appropriate for this doll, not rubbed. We have paired her with 2 one-of-a-kind Kimonos. She will come in a presentation box with a vintage doll stand. We are including a very nice brunette flip wig for her to wear.We've been honored to be the custodians of this vintage Barbie item as part of our collection spanning 30 years.
