eBay RARE-Limited edition (1,200 produced) Pink Jubilee Barbie® Doll Set (NRFB) including the pink ribbon; a save the date postcard; a pink invitation to the Pink Jubilee 30th anniversary event; and a printed paper event itinerary including credits for the gala. This event celebrated “30 Magical Years in the World of Barbie” and was held at The State Theater at Lincoln Center in New York. The celebration took place on Monday, February 13, 1989, from 7-10 pm. These very collectible treasures from this event have been owned by only one person since that date. Collectors might have seen this doll posted on eBay before, but most likely none have had the elements of this event that this collection has (the invitation; Save The Date card, and itinerary). The doll has items included in the box including a card verifying that 1,200 dolls were produced; a plastic bag including her shoes; and a paper notification stating how to remove the doll’s hair from the package. Also included with this collection is the pink metal button with the Barbie® logo and wording - PINK JUBILEE-THIRTY MAGICAL YEARS 1959-1989. This set is for the serious Barbie collector. It is a piece of Barbie history and is now available for the first time. The items have been carefully stored in plastic boxes in a smoke-free home.This set will be carefully packaged for shipping including tissue paper, bubble-pack, and a sturdy corrugated box.No returns.The Barbie® name, logo, and likeness are a trademark and copyright of Mattel, Inc. and may not be used without their permission.
