With the exception of the case and the clothes rack, this is a one owner collection, meaning these were purchased by the original owner as a child and kept in their possession this entire time. I know that some collectors will want to know that the original owner is still with us, happy and healthy - and this comes from them and not an estate sale. This is a large collection and I have A LOT of pictures to share. Not all of those pictures will fit on this listing. THIS LISTING contains the "main" pictures. Her hair is uncut with nice plugs and soft texture. I did give the doll a superficial cleaning (soap and water) and washed her hair. I left a curler in her hair as it dried so the curl will not last (I didn't want to risk using heat). Her hair color has a bit of lemony yellow to it that I assume comes from age. Her bangs look great and are soft and springy. She does have pierced ears but no green spots. She does come with her original hoop earrings and striped swimsuit. Her torso is already pale but her face and limbs still have some of the flesh coloring. She has some paint rubs on her eyeline. No broken hands or feet - no chew damage. All of her nails still retain their original red polish. She has an indentation line on her right hip and a fairly flagrant mark on her lower back. All of her joints are nice and tight - no loosey arms or legs. There is a discoloration around her neck - no neck splits. As she is a #3, no holes in the feet although most her fashions come with the shoes with the holes on the bottom. EASTER PARADE #971 - Dress is nice, no issues. Coat shows some faint wrinkling to crepe like fabric but nothing flagrant or damging. Hat is showing some mild fraying on the ribbon tips/ Purse is discolored. Shoes are original and have the hole in the bottom - no cracks or splits. Peachy Fleecy #915- Coat has some discolored spots on the back, otherwise fine. Gloves are also a little discolored and stiff. The hat is a little smooshed but the feather is fine - the pearl has lost its veneer. Shoes are original, no cracks or splits. They also have a hole in the bottom. SWEET DREAMS #973 - Overall nice shape - clock is a bit rusted and I'm not entirely sure the "headband" is anything but a chenille stick but also fine. SWEATER GIRL #976 - Skirt shows a little fading. Both the sweater and the shell blouse shoe some holes in the knit. Sweater is missing (1) button and all of the pearls are missing their veneers. SUBURBAN SHOPPER #969 - Hat shows some discoloration. The ribbon is a little faded. Purse has a loose apple with some paint fade, otherwise fine. Dress is nice, no issue. BUSY GAL #981 - One of the side strings on the portfolio is in a knot. The jacket and the blue body blouse need a steam. Both sketches show some yellowing. Hat has a bit of a curl to it. Overall nice shape. Undergarments #919 - Most all of the elastic bits are relaxed. Bra and full slip see a bit faded. Winter Holiday 975 - The coat and the gloves are stiff. There is a small blue mark on the collar. Vinyl on the shoes is also stiff. Everything else is fine. Evening Splendor #961 - Dress is nice, no issues. Coat has some fading to the inner lining. Both the necklae and the hat are missing pearls. Purse and gloves show some discoloration. Shoes are original, no cracks or splits but they do have the hole in the bottom.Cotton Casual #912 - Ribbons are a bit smooshed, otherwise fine. Comes with (1) original shoe (it also has a hole). Commuter Set #916 - The outfit itself is fine, no issues. It comes with only one glove. Shoes are fine but they are of a later model, no hole. Hat seems a little wild but no damage. Hat box shows a tear and some tape repair, otherwise fine. Bracelt is smooshed. Big selection of same era clone outfits - some carry international tags. Pictures of these clone outfits are on the other/picture listing (above link). They too carry some flaws but overall, most are in good shape. There are perhaps some slight mending to closures or such but nothing is junk. I saw a few spots but nothing is ripped. I threw in the case, rack and some shoes (mostly Taiwan era) to round out the lot.
