Original Listing Description

eBay This is the Vintage Platinum Blond American Girl Barbie, and she comes with her original Swimsuit, Turquoise Japan Open Toe Heels and Gold Metal Stand. She also comes with the complete and all original Modern Art outfit #1625 which includes the organza Dress, Original Painting, Original Art Show Program, Very Rare and VHTF True Green Japan Spiked Closed Toe Heels and correct Booklet that was issued with her outfit. I've also included two special bonus items, a wood easel to display the painting on and a white replacement display box for your doll. The Doll, Stand and original Outfits with Shoes were issued in 1965 and everything included is in Near Mint to Mint condition. The marks on the sides of her hairline are mold marks which shows how little she was handled in the last 57 years. She has no missing hair plugs or hair trims, no nose, finger or toe nips, no green ear and displays beautifully. Both legs click 3 times and hold their pose. Her fingernail paint is still beautiful and there is none on her toes as it's supposed to be. Please zoom in and scrutinize the many pictures provided closely, as they too are part of my description. I acquired the doll and outfit from an adult collector many years ago and it's always been properly stored away since I purchased it. It has never been displayed or played with by anyone. It has never been on a doll until I photographed everything for this listing. It was very lightly pressed before taking the pics, but I was more concerned about damaging it any than I was with the few tiny remaining wrinkles. The outfit is out of the box perfect, it's crisp, clean and the paper inspection label still remains underneath the Barbie label. The near mint label in the swimsuit is intact and secure as well. I know its new owner will be thrilled when they receive it. I can't imagine finding such a beautiful example unless it came from old original stock. The Booklet is in excellent +++ condition with no writing, tears, folds, etc. Please zoom in and scrutinize all pictures carefully. I also have many additional photos I'll be happy to zap you if you'd like to see them as well. The 12-photo limit wasn't near enough to include them all and I wish I could've included many more. There are no stains, rips or tears and the original YKK zipper is intact, secure, and working perfectly. As stated above, this outfit has NEVER been displayed or played with by anyone. Due to the value of this item I'm willing to repackage it at no charge. You just have to make a request and be willing to allow me an extra day to complete it so ebay doesn't ding me for a late ship. I'm also willing to consider a lay-a-way plan for qualified buyers. I can only consider this option if you inquire regarding this option prior to your purchase.
