eBay For sale is a 1959 vintage Mattel Barbie doll; the original #1 Ponytail Barbie in the rare brunette version. This 11 inch plastic fashion doll has black hair and comes with clothing, shoes, and original black pedestal. Original state not cleaned; can be cleaned by buyer. Minor flaws: Smudges on skin where little fingers played with her in decades past. The doll does not perch well upon the stand but I was able to for photos. No original box. One shoe is apart on the top. Only the tiniest green at earring holes. It appears someone has put a hole in the stand to hold the doll better in the stand. Earrings, shoes, and stand will be in separate bags with the doll. The doll is recommended for display purposes for ages 17 and up. A true treasure; she's a true beauty! Please message me if you'd like additional photos; I'm trying to handle her the least possible.
