I believe that this doll was featured on page 9 of The World of Barbie Dolls(blue book) by Paris and Susan Manos. The original seller of the doll would neither confirm nor deny this fact. The doll appears to be new in box but the Manos collection has added a plastic wrap around the doll. The doll has some visible discoloration around the earrings due to its age. It appears that the doll has not been taken out of the box.This doll is stock number 850, and it is an iconic doll from the swimsuit collection.
