1987 Rotoplast Venezuela Ballerina Barbie or Miko Foreign SUPERSTAR face Vintage
1987 Rotoplast Venezuela Ballerina Barbie or Miko Foreign SUPERSTAR face Vintage
SOLD $495.00 Sold: Oct 29, 2023 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
eBay **Please ask any questions BEFORE you buy, and please do not buy and then ask me to cancel (a lot of that going on lately)**** This auction is for a Rotoplast 1987 Brunette Ballerina Barbie doll in overall excellent condition- No box, attached to a white liner. This gorgeous doll uses the Superstar head sculpt with black hair, BROWN eyes and a dark skintone for the Venezuelan market. Rotoplast was Mattel's licensee for Venezuela in the 1980s. She wears a lovely ballet costume with ballet slippers and hair decoration. Her hair is in original style and I don't believe she was ever played with. She has a Rotoplast fashion booklet and comes attached to a plain white liner. Her face and makeup are absolutely stunning! The Rotoplast dolls are incredibly rare, but for those unfamiliar with them, they do have a lighter weight cheaper torso than what was used on U.S. Barbies, with less polished joints. The South American Barbie dolls are some of the rarest dolls ever made (as the Estrela collectors can easily tell you!) Doll will be shipped Priority with Signature Confirmation. Please view my other auctions for more great items and to save on combined shipping. Thank you! (Condition: Pre-Owned)
Note: This item has been sold and is no longer available. This page serves as a historical price reference for Barbie collectors and appraisers.
