eBay 2005 Barbie CALI GIRL Hawaiian Hotel Vacation Rare Box Playset G8595 Used + DollYou are bidding on a very rare gently used vintage 2005 Barbie Hawaii Hotel Box Set Mattel # G8595 from the California “Cali Girl” collectionThis would be the centerpiece of any Barbie California Girl collection, and is rarely available like this, especially with the original box.The original set did not include any dolls, but I’ve included a used Cali Girl doll with the set. She has many extra changeable earrings, mostly unused (see photos, and original instructions for changing her earrings). This doll is Mattel model # B5766, suitable for age 5+. She also comes with her white sweater which I forgot to include in the photos.I’ve tried to show pictures of everything including the hotel room, balcony area, opening door, canopy bed with all bedding and swags, hotel pool, room service cart, check-in stand, patio furniture, couch, many small accessories, and original see pictures for condition etc... You get all that's shown 1. Hotel Room with Barbie-size doorways (door on hinges swings open) and refrigerator with door that opens/closes, pretend TV & stereo & phone2. Canopy hotel bed with bedding including pink “silky fabric comforter” blanket, 2 matching pillows, and 2 white canopy swags. The box set comes with both a large Barbie-sized white plastic bed which is included, plus also a smaller cardboard box-like display bed which I preferred to use instead since it fits the hotel room better. You get both beds, so you can choose ! (see photos). There is scratch on the bigger plastic bed but it's concealed when you put the comforter on bed anyway.3. Semi-circular Balcony with white railing4. Hotel Check-in stand with “Cali Girl Hotel” vinyl flag on bamboo-style pole5. Blue Swimming Pool – big & deep enough to hold real water6. Bamboo-style 5-piece Patio furniture set – 2 chairs, stool, sofa (can put outdoors, or indoors), patio table with plastic sunshade canopy7. Hotel room-service cart with door that swings open8. many small accessories including coffee maker, pineapple-style drinks, pizza on tray, plate of muffins, bottles, cans, cups, pitcher, unopened bag of pink flatware, menu clipboard & computer, flowers etc…From comparing it to contents shown in the original instructions (included), it looks like 2 tiny accessories are missing (small blue plastic hand soap dispenser, and a tiny plastic pretend bottle of perfume)Box advertises: “The Cali Girl friends are enjoying one sweet vacation at the ultimate Hawaiian hotel! Being at the ultimate Hawaiian Hotel is the best Summer. Christie and I checked in at the front desk and they gave us flower leis and lots of alohas. Then we went up to our room. Wow! We’ve got a private balcony – in Hawaii they call it a lanai – with a view of the ocean and the pool. The canopy bed is so cool and there’s lots of room for lounging. For dinner we’re going to order room service – there’s a menu on the bed. We’ll probably stay up late talking and laughing so I’m glad the mini fridge is fully stocked in case we get hungry again. And they left “mints"on our pillows for sweet dreams. How cool is that ? Christie can’t wait to swim in the pool, but Summer just wants to hang out and catch some rays – with sunscreen of course. The hotel even has a luau. This is going to be the greatest vacation ever !” This set was assembled for my daughter for play in 2005, and has since been stored its original box in a closet, in a climate controlled smoke free pet free homeWhat’s really unusual is it includes the window box with original price tag, lol ! Very rarely is the original box included like this. There is box wear as expected, and some of the interior parts of the original box display may be missing from when it was opened and the contents extracted in 2005.
