Original Listing Description

For sale is a vintage Barbie doll from the estate of local lifetime Barbie collector, Catherine Gilliam, who meticulously assembled a large, stunning, carefully organized and protected collection of rare early Barbies, outfits and with some convention and other rare pieces)—many of which I will be listing. An expert collector, Mrs. Gilliam was a Barbie convention Senior Judge, a charter member of the NBDCCSC, and chairman of the 1994 Barbie convention in Birmingham. The last picture shows this collector's credentials and a 1994 picture of her at the Birmingham convention with Mattel execs (NOTE: These credentials and photo are NOT included in this listing.)This is a No. 1130 Blonde Francie Bendable Legs Barbie Doll in sealed original Japan box. I believe that it may be a 1965(box copyright) doll, but you experts will be able to discern this better than I. Since I am not a Barbie expert, the pictures will provide the best sense of condition, but I welcome questions. This piece has no odd odors, and the box is in VG, untorn condition. This will be very well-packaged in a sturdy shipping box, and I have an outstanding record shipping fragile collectibles Please ask questions before bidding so that I can insure you know exactly what you are bidding on. Because I offer multiple pictures and detailed descriptions and prompt reply to questions, I do not offer a standing refund option. However, if I made a mistake (I am human), or you have a concern, please contact me, and I will do everything reasonably possible to make it right, and my feedback reflects that. I want both us to come out winners here. You can expect the items I sell to be smoke-free, unless I specifically state otherwise. Higher value items may require signature confirmation upon receipt, but there is no charge to the buyer for this. At your request, I will be happy to create a combined shipping invoice on multiple purchases, subject to size/weight restrictions or any other eBay policy limitations. However, eBay's Global Shipping Program may limit combined shipping for international buyers. Payment is expected within 3 days of purchase. Have fun. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
