Live Action Christie Doll & Outfit AA Barbie’s Friend Mattel #1175 TLC This Live Action Christie doll from Mattel (#1175) is in fabulous condition! The main reason for the TLC designation is that she has a light musty smell. “© 1968 Mattel, Inc. U.S. & Foreign Patented Patented in Canada 1967 Other Patents Pending Taiwan” is on her rear. She was produced in the early 1970s. She comes with her original outfit: matching orange, purple, and lime top and pants, orange scarf, and purple-ish pink shoes. No stand. Besides the arms, legs, and head that turn, the Live Action dolls also move at the waist and wrists and bend at the elbows and knees. Her body is free of marks but there is a small scuffed area on her rear. Her rooted hair will need some styling. Her features and rooted eyelashes look very good, but there is a small light spot on her forehead. There are a few small areas on her legs where the knee-bending mechanism is trying to poke through – something I have seen on many of these bendy legged dolls. Her clothes are in good condition. She is 11-1/2” tall, so she can wear Barbie’s clothes. Her feet are almost flat, though, so she will need the shoes that were designed for flat-footed Barbies. Doll stand in photos not included.
