Comes from a 2 cat friendly, non smoking home, cats not allowed near dolls but just mentioning for those allergic. PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION BELOW BEFORE PURCHASE REGARDING FLAWS (AND BEAUTY) ON THIS DOLL AS SHE IS SOLD AS IS, NO REFUNDS, NO RETURNS. Up for buy it now is a lovely all original Vintage Barbie #3 Brunette Ponytail Barbie. I am not her original owner but can tell you what I was told by the prior owner. She was sold to me as all original, factory hair, makeup, no retouches. These are the pluses for this stunning doll. She has the more softer palette of a red/orange lip. Barbie’s ponytail appears to be in its original wrap with some hard curl remaining on the ends. It’s slightly flattened from decades in a box but is still shiny and silky. I haven’t removed any rubber bands. I’m not sure if she is missing any hair plugs but to my old eyes I can’t see any missing ones myself. Please see pictures for accuracy. Facial paint is 100% original. She’s been gently cleaned with alcohol swabs, but otherwise untouched. Head is stable with no signs of neck split or knob issues. With my old eyes, I don’t see any nose nips or neck splits, but please see pictures as they are part of the description. All joints hold a pose nicely. Her face, limbs, and solid body are evenly pale, with her back slightly pinker. See info below on the miscellaneous untreated body spots, normally covered by clothing. No missing fingers/toes. -Swimsuit not included and just shown for display as is anything else shown in the background. This buy it now is ONLY FOR THE NUDE #3 PONYTAIL BARBIE, no stand, no box, no swimsuit or paperwork. -Displayed in glass cabinet w/low light. -Other than the staining mentioned below and the darkening of the ears, her body appears to have the normal factory markings and little to no playwear but please see pictures as they are part of the description. IMPORTANT TLC ISSUES TO NOTE ON THIS DOLL: 1. No green on ears or anywhere that I can see with my old eyes. However, note, the factory ear piercing holes HAVE DARKENED, but the discoloration appears to be limited mostly to the inside of the earring hole and hasn’t spread as seen in the photos. I haven’t treated this. Prior seller stated: The earring damage is more like silver tarnish than copper green. It hasn’t spread beyond the hole edge. 2. Doll has significant marks/staining on her body on her chest/torso, tush/bum, back, face has one or two faint/barely there dots as can be seen in pictures almost looks like light freckles and on/near her lips at one or both corners there is a slight bit of darkening which can also be seen. I believe this doll was a doll kept inside her box for most of her “lifetime” and hence her flattened ponytail and markings which could be staining from clothing as to my eyes they don’t appear to be marker stains but I really have no idea where the stains came from and I have NOT tried to remove any of the staining anywhere and am unsure if it can be removed. I wanted the new owner to be aware of this. Almost all of it is covered by clothing when she is dressed. Overall, she is a stunning doll and if someone could remove the stains on her body she’d appear mostly mint. These dolls are getting harder and harder to find in any condition and are becoming so expensive. Due to the body stains and darkening of her inside of her ears I am selling her for cheaper than what I paid for her because I loved her beautiful face despite the slight/faint dot(s) and minimal slight hint of darkness on/near the edges of her lips.
