Vintage 1964 Barbie's New Dream House Mattel Item 4092 Original Manual & AccessoriesA collector's dream!! This is a rare, hard to find, 1964 vintage Barbie's Dream House by Mattel item# 4092. This item comes with the original assembly instruction booklet for the dream house and furniture. The booklet is in very good condition. According to the book, all the furniture items are included except the floor lamp as far as I can tell. You will also get the original color wrapper that came with the Dream House when it was new. The wrapper is in nice condition and has been repaired with tape in some places, but it is not too obvious and does not detract from the overall aesthetic of the vintage wrapper. The dream house itself is in good condition for it's age and considering it was originally an actual child's toy. It has normal wear you would expect. There are some marks on the outside of the house that looks like it maybe had tape or something at one time..see photos. There are places where the cardboard flaps were completely torn off the house but that has all been repaired and taped back on. One lower tab on the outside corner by the yellow rose tree is somewhat flimsy making connection a bit more difficult however, it can be accomplished. The tabs are missing the wing nuts that tighten down the flaps to keep the house closed up. This could be remedied with some hook and loop tape if desired but I have left this to the new owner's to remedy as they see fit. The inside is in very nice condition with only a few places needing some tape repairs which have been made. The furniture is all in good condition. The bed headboard needs tape to stay up really well and the dinette table legs were slightly misshapen but overall, the furniture is in really nice condition. The furniture is all placed in the Dream House as the instruction booklet shows to place it for storage, and will be shipped this way.
