For Sale:THE Original Barbie #1made in 1959 by MattelComes with her original black & white striped swimsuit, a blonde ponytail, and silver hoop earrings!**This was my mom's original Barbie from childhood; her head broke off long ago, but she's always kept her in a box for safekeeping. She also comes with her original stand with copper spikes that go into the holes in her feet!I used Dawn dish soap and a Q-Tip to clean off her face a bit, but buyer can do a more thorough cleaning of face and body!Her head is detached (obviously!), but there is still a "nub" or something inside her head, which makes it easier for a professional to repair her!Her eyes are great, her lips still red, and her silver hoop earrings still in place. Her hair & ponytail are also looking pretty great for her age & considering she was a child's play doll at one time (60+ years ago). The original rubber band in her ponytail is still stuck on her hair but needs replacing, as it's deteriorated. This girl is a real beauty who just needs the right person to give her the TLC she needs to look her original self again! (Condition: Pre-Owned)
