"1964 Mattel, Inc. - Irwin" is imprinted on bottom of this speedboat. I did some reseach and found that Irwin Toys of Canada produced this speedboat for Mattel, Inc., hence Mattel and Irwin names are imprinted on boat's underside (little bit of boats' history for you). This speedboat is very nice quaility for being 60 years old. The best attributes of this speedboat is its pristine condition, color, and other than missing the flag pole, all associated boat gear is present with not one broken. I never knew this boat came with a flag pole until my research. I bet you did not know this boat originally had a flag pole either? The windshield is not broken, no cracks, and still offers the three original metal screws. The metal screws barely have any tarnishing. This boat is large and measures: 20" in length x 8" wide x 6-1/2" tall. If you feel like playing Barbie at the lake one night, feel free to roll speedboat across the floor, hee hee. Boat's wheels spin freely with ease (better invite me over if you do play Barbie!). My precious boat that I have admired for years owning so it goes without saying I will not allow this to be shipped without my own special care in packaging material and boxing. Boat will be placed inside a much larger box than the boats' size due to inner shipping materials. Boat needs much cushioning shipping materials while inside the huge box to prevent enroute damage by shipping service. I wish for my precious boat to be delivered to you in perfect condition as when I removed it from the top shelf in my vintage Barbie collection. Sadly, we know all delivery services keep going up on rates. The cost of shipping anything these days is "stupid" if I may say so. The very large box this boat will be shipped in will be deemed "oversize" due to the deminions, which, will reflect high ship cost. Who knows, you may open that very large box and find me in the box with the boat! hee hee...just joking!
