#1150 Barbie Color Magic doll - First Issue Long straight hair, (Golden Blonde) no bangs, hair changes color with the "color changer solution" from Golden Blonde to Red, bendable legs, painted facial features, one piece harlequin diamond swimsuit and headband. (released in 1966) Doll mark: © 1958 Mattel, Inc. U.S. Patented U.S. Pat. Pend. Raised: Made in Japan. Later issue has all marks in raised letters. Includes: Diamond print one piece swimsuit with attached blue ribbon tie. Tag has been removed or fell off. Very good condition, no loose seams, tears, or holes. Headband - original elastic is a bit stretched. Bobby pins (Colored) Hair ribbons (colored) Blue tulle hair tie A and B color changer packets (some has been used) Sponge applicator wands (original sponges have disintegrated and been replaced on original wand) Gold wire stand- straight, not bent or scratched. Note: All above doll descriptions and itemized accessories were cited on dollReference com Doll Condition: This vintage High Color Magic Doll is untouched and original with beautifully detailed make-up and nail polish. Her body has even coloring with no flaws or marks. Arms and legs hold a pose, legs click forward and backward 2 times. Her neck is tight. Fingers & oes in good condition. Her hair is long and shiny and has never been cut. The only issue with this doll is that her hair is sparse above forehead and on her right temple but thick elsewhere. With all the positives of this doll she still presents very well. Please refer to photos as they are part of the description.
